18 'A Cure'
Everybody remains silent in the meeting room of the department of pathology.
The fact that the drug SOS has been used by the terrorist group JSS, which resulted in mass death, became an unbelievable fact to them.
The faces of the people there at the meeting, was a mixture of tension and panic.
Some had their hands on the heads, some pretend to be busy, looking at the files in front of them.
However, Shin was deep in thoughts and felt burdened.
Suddenly the door opened with loud bang. The head of the pathology department, Doctor James Huang enters.
"Thud..dd!"
"Okay so guys....as all of you'll know...the country is in a emergency situation."
He switches on the T.V, where the president was conducting, a media conference.
"To the citizens of People's Republic of China...I stand hereby to inform you'll...the seriousness of the incident caused by the terrorists against the government....
We hereby, inform you'll... the details of the incident...
Under the Shandong province, in three cities that is in Linyi, Jinan and Qingdao...there had been a calamity due to the consumption of a dangerous drug called... the SOSO drug...
So I therefore declare... the country to be in an emergency period.... we hereby strictly ban mass gatherings and work after 7 pm... And...."
"Heard that guys?!!...the country has been declared to emergency period.... I mean... it's no wonder...I haven't even seen this type of strategies taken by the terrorist groups even back in U.S.A when I was there....goodness God....a mass death by drugs?!! Unbelievable....so guys what are we going to do about this...?!
Shin suddenly, rises on her foot, stares at Doctor James Huang with a question to whether let it out or not and then finally decides to speak.
"Sir!!....One of our colleague has betrayed us and made us in this situation ...so before the government keeps us held for the situation...we need to bring up a solution...as in an antidote against this drug... but it will definitely won't be easy....
As of now...we have understood...that they can easily mass produce the drugs...and someone is aiding them efficiently inorder to do so... similar situations will be repeated....
A colleague of Shin's in the meeting room suddenly enquiries to her.
"Creating an antidote is not easy...that too for the drug SOS...that too a dangerous drug like that...Hope you know that...Shin?!!
Plus by the time we make it incidents like this will happens again...since it can't even be found out...it has no smell...no taste...just white granules!!"
"But...This is only way... an ANTIDOTE is the only cure for drugs such SOSO!!"
