11 '2021: The Dragon Man'

*TWO YEARS LATER*

A well-built man, fully armed enters with another man, suited and wearing horn- rhimmed glasses, he immediately moves towards the mic on the table.

"Good morning Ladies and Gentlemen. The director will soon be proceeding with the

media conference. Please remain patient..."

The well-built armed man stands at the backstage as he kept an eye on the stage area. While, the other armed men surrounds the entire Hebei University hall where the media conference was going to take place.

The weather is too perfect thought Zhao dao as he strokes his rubble, which was to be soon shaved.

As he got ready late, as usual, for the media conference.

Warm, bright sun lit up the car porch, sun- kissing the car, while the sky looked clearer like never before. Nature and people like always, appreciated the day, as a blessing.

Zhao dao on reaching the hall, slips down into a back- sitter.

He notices the tight security in and out the hall. His gaze finally lands on the armed man, backstage, noticing his American, well built and handsome features.

Suddenly he diverted his focus to the man with the mike, when the speaker unexpectedly, coughed.

"ahha ahha wohaha....

.....so as I was saying.... I, Wang Li, the head of the department of archaeology in Hebei University is here to make an important announcement....umm.. regarding the skull remains... which we found in an abandoned well.. in Manchuria on 28 April 2018. It was originally found... near Songhua river located at Harbin....in 1933. But, was later... hid from the invaders of Manchuria by... a local contract labourer."

A reporter suddenly stands up to ask questions.

"So...Sir! It was originally found in 1933...Okay sir...can you brief us about the details... of the skull?"

"Ahh...yes! So...further talking about the scientific classification.... Kingdom is Animalia....Phylum is Chordata...Class will be Mammalia.... Order is Primates....Suborder is Haplorhini.... Infraorder to be Simiiformes..... Family is Hominidae.... Subfamily will be Homininae.. Tribe is Hominini... then Genusis is Homo and finally Species is †H. longi.

It may replace 'Neanderthals' for being... the closest related to humans...."

"So...is this Archaic human a valuable resource which could even...replace Neanderthals??"

"Yes! That's right...so today we have gathered here for it's naming process.... we, our archeological department have decided.... to give it's name related from where it was found...."

"A name derived from it's region....?"

"We have used the geographic name Longjiang  literally meaning 'Dragon River'.... a term commonly used for the Chinese province 'Heilongjiang'....so we have named the Archaic human... to whom the skull belongs to as... 'The Dragon Man'! "

Zhao dao relaxes on the chair, as he repeats the name again to himself, as if to never forget it, ever.

"Hmm ....'The Dragon Man!'
