4 Should I escape now?

"Your Higness!"

She jumped in fright and stood still where she is.

"What the heck!"

She looked at the sword in her hand and immediately thrust it back in to the stone.

"Ah eh..hehe. Uhmmm haha. What do I say? Uhmmmm..it's not my intention to pull the sword so I put it back to where it was before. You can continue on what you are doing." she said sheepishly.

When she was about to walked out Duke Ryan suddenly said.

"Your Highness! Don't leave us. You're the last hope for us people in Pantashya. Please don't abandoned us" begged Duke Ryan.

"Huh? Me? You're last hope? Why?" Ye asked.

"The current King of Pantashya is merciless and as the choosen one of the 'god of protection' we believed that you're good hearted"

"Hmphhh, really? What if I'm not?" asked Ye while raising her left eyebrow.

"Your Highness! Don't be like that I begged you. You're our only and last hope. Please help us" begged Duke Ryan again.

"Hmmmm..wait. Being a princess is not bad in fact it's awesome. I struck gold this time" Ye said in her mind while her eyes turn into gold bars.

"Hehe..I become royals and I can own a kingdom with all the people in it is at my mercy..WHAHHAHA..I'm now rich. YES! 'god of fate' still loves me. Maybe that's why he brought me here so that I can become a queen..whahah..wait..but..If I will to choose I will still choose to be with my family than being a queen in a foreign land alone. It's not that were so poor in my world. Yeah, we might poor but we can still manage our livelihood, maybe just below middle class and upper in poor class. But still being a queen is really awesome." Ye said in her mind.

"Your Highness!" interrupt the Duke of the dazed Ye.

"Ah! Yes" Ye said waking up from her dazed.

"Okay okay okay. I will be your queen"

Every one becomes happy and the atmosphere become lively.

"Long live the queen" shout Duke Ryan.

"Long live the queen" shouted the rest.

"Okay, stop kneeling and go back to your work."

"And we're not done yet!" Ye said while pointing at the Captain that keeps on tracking her earlier.

She turn toward Duke Ryan.

"Duke Ryan where is my room? I'm tired running here and there. I want to take a rest"

"This way Your Majesty"

"Hehe..does I sound like a queen already?" Ye asked in her mind.

They arrived at the castle where she was lead to the highest building.

"Okay, thank you Duke Ryan for assisting me. I'm so tired now I want to take a rest"

Duke Ryan was shoked by what he heard. He didn't expect the queen to thank him.

"No no no. It's my duty to serve you Your Majesty. You don't need to thank me"

She waved her hands signalling to just leave her alone. Duke Ryan walked out from the room smiling and Ye flop in the soft and big bed afterwards.

"Ahhhhh..it's so soft and fluffy. It's really different being a queen"

She looked around and saw many expensive things.

"If I could just take some even just a little to my world then I'll surely become so rich."

"Hahayssss..oh my oh my world. How can I go back to you?"

Sniff sniff sniff sniff

"I miss my family already. It's not easy being alone in the world where you don't belong."

She cried and cried until it turns into night.

Knock knock

"Who's there?" asked Ye trying to supress her crying voice.

"It's me Your Majesty. I prepared dinner especially for you." said Duke Ryan.

"Eh? So long?" asked Ye in her mind.

"It's me Your Majesty. I prepared dinner especially for you. Who?[1]" replied Ye to Duke Ryan.

"Huh? Why are you repeating what I've just said Your Majesty?"

"Ah eh..whaha. Nevermind."

"Just put it in the kitchen. I don't have any appetite yet. I will just call you."

"Yes, Your Majesty."

Duke Ryan left and Ye continued to reminiscence the past in her previous world until she fall asleep.

== Next Day ==

"Haaaaayyyy" Ye yawn while stretching her arms and sit up in the bed.

"Urghhhh..my swollen beautiful eyes is so hard to open."

She tried very hard to open her eyes but she can only open it a little.

She now got up from the bed and walk toward to the balcony like a drunkard.

"wew..the scenery is so beautiful. It's becomes more beautiful with the rising sun shining. Hmmmm..now that I see it closely I just noticed that the architecture is mixed with ancient china and european medieval age. How is that possible to mixed it but still looks this good?"

"Hmmmm..how about I will also build casas like in Philippines during Spanish period. Ay..wait. If it's like Casas then it means it comes from the Spaniards? No no, I want pre-colonial architecture when those guys haven't enslave us for 333 years. Demmmm it. Imagine 333 years they are living in the Philippines but they act like they already own it and enslave the native. Da hel with them. But to think about it there's also some exceptions since not all colonizer are bad as well as not all natives are good. If there's darkness then there will always lightness and vice versa. It may have some good points in colonizing the country but when I think about the abuse they did and the hardship of my ancestors I can't help my blood boils. If I will become a president then I will deport all foreigners from the Philippines and they can just leave in a particular place to do business. If they want to make business outside that place then he should hire natives to take care of it in those areas so that they will have incomes. Visitors are still welcome to travel but living in the Philippines for good is a big NO. How dare the others raised their nose in the country where they didn't own. WhHhahah..just my wild imagination."[2]

"Back to the topic. If I want to build a filipino like native then I will just make a 'Bahay Kubo' cause I can't think of anything..hehe. Of course in 'Bahay Kubo' I will plant the bitter gourd along other plants listed in 'Bahay Kubo' song so that it will not become bitter. whahahah[3]"

Ye stop in her thinking when she saw some tiny things descending from the mountains.

"Eh? What are those thing?"

She rubbed her swollen eyes and it open wide when she identify what are the things that descending from the mountains.

"I..is..is that what you called beast?"

"AHHHHHHHHHH BEASSSSSTTTTT!" yelled Ye.

She was almost fall down from the balcony if she wasn't able to steady herself.

Ding ding ding ding

The bells ring while she slump in the floor from nervousness.

"Huhuhuhu, why is it like this? I just came from almost eaten by wolves to almost killed for being mistaken as a thief and now to be eaten again but it's beast this time? Am I destined to always run for my life?"

"Whoaaaa..I was almost having a heart attack from fright" said Ye while patting her heart."

She heard running footsteps from outside.

"Your Majesty are you alright?"

She immediately tried to stand up even though her feet is shaking.

"I shouldn't let them know that I'm afraid. Because I'm brave. whahahaha" Ye said in her mind.

"Yes I am. Come in." replied Ye to Duke Ryan.

She saw Duke Ryan running towards her.

"Your Majesty bad news." said Duke Ryan anxiously.

"What is it?" asked Ye with knitted brows.

"The first gate 'Green Gate' was breached. The beast run havoc in town and eat it's folk."

"WHAT?"

"Urghhhh, what a pain." Ye said while massaging her forehead.

"Give some reinforcement this instant. Quick!"

"Yes Your Majesty!"

Duke Ryan immediately walked out from the room while Ye is still massaging her forehead and looking at the first gate where smokes everywhere could be seen.

"Should I escape now?"

[1] "knock knock who's there" is some kind of a joke

[2] I know foreigners and maybe some natives will hate me for this thinking but you just can't blame for being a patriot.

[3] bitter means here is that yes it's like those bitter taste but it's also mean something in a relationship. Example: Her friends have lovers while she had not. They are eating in a fast food chain when they talked about their love life and then she suddenly cracked a joke saying that you all will eventually breaks up and then her friends all replied 'bitter'. It's also can refer to somethings like "don't get bitter if you didn't pass the exam while your friend passed"..it's something like you're negative thinker..urgggggg..I guess that's it..watever..I can't really explain it well.

There's also a joke saying that that's why the bitter gourd is bitter because it's not part in 'Bahay Kubo' song.
