5 ꧁ Chapter 4, "So I see you again." ꧂

I sighed watching from the window as the rabbit slowly walked away their ears pinned to their head like claw's to flesh; I let out a compressed sigh and flicked my fox like tail as I padded though the living room to the kitchen; I opened a cabonet and pulled out a bowl, next thing was to grab a spoon and just eat cereal for dinner I mean cereal is great and all.

Not to affend anyone but I like to put my milk in first, so the cereal can stay partly cry or won't really get as soggy as when you put the cereal first. I sighed and ate my 'dinner' pretty quickly just so I could get ready for work all I really do at the place is sit there at the cash regester, and wait for some random karen to walk into the line and start bickering about something; Honestly working at store where karens love to do nughty things was quite fun it give's me the entertainment that my own school and home can't. Its not like school entertaining it does have it's drama I just like how every karen has a different reason to have a tantrum like a little three or four year old.

I finished eating and walked up stairs leaving the bowl on the table, I changed into my work clothes and fumbled around looking for my hat, I gave up about 4-6 minutes after trying to find it as its not really needed. I opened the closet door and grabbed my coat and slipped it on while heading out the door again; I started to rush down the road past dexters house along with a few class mates houses that always took the damn bus.

I stopped running when I reached the school, and sat down for a moment to catch my breath again I sat there for a while looking at the sky and the small birds that flew over head, It was relaxing but I needed to go again I got up and started to run again I didn't stop ti'll I reached the store. I walked in and padded to the 'staff only' door and walked inside that door aswell, I opened my small locker and placed my coat inside before retreating to the front..

The very first person I get had to be a fucking karen, Great.. I look at the woman as she started bickering because almost all of the milk was gone, And the only milk she drinks was 2% I sighed and scaned the rest of her stuff; "You know, You don't have to bicker like a toddler.. The milk is gonna get restocked in an hour or so when another worker come's in. "

"In an hour!? It'll be dark by time! " She snapped back at me, I flicked my tail and scrached the back of my head. " You do know your making a scene infront of many other people, And no It won't be dark it's only 4. at six or seven it starts to get darker. " I said with a straight face, as I handed her bags and watched as she left the store a few minutes later after one of my co workers walked over and told her to leave, She was so fucking pissed..

"Hey Um, Sorry for her, I don;t think she was in the state of mind. " Someone spoke up, I turned my head to look at them and smiled warmly

"It wasen't your fult though, She was just a cranky karen--.. Anyway.. Just place your things down and i'll scan em'"- I watched as things where brought in and out of the shopping cart and set down so I could scan them and give them the price.

"Hey Whisper Get over here! " The called out, Soon enough a rabbit peered out fom behind one of the Isle's and trotted up to what seemed their father; I smiled again and waved slightly If it wheren't for the manager telling every one to act as nice as possable I would be looking like a fucking bitch ready to pounce on the person infront of me.

"oh, H-hey Laika. " He muttered.

"Hi..."

"What are you doing working at a place like that this time and age.?" He asked, as I looked at him and his father.

"Um, well.. You'll find out soon enough I'm sure. " I muttered back.

"A-alright then. " He stammered a bit before his father grabed his hand and the bag's and left the store.
