Ariana stared speechlessly at Lucas, his straight face made him seen serious while obviously looking for a reason to have her in his arms.
She tried not to think of what happened yesterday even though she was failing at it, she was determined not to remember.
"Lucas, I just woke up, what fatigue do you speak of?, my royal self hasn't done anything this morning save for admiring the sunlight".
Lucas frowned, not giving way as she made to stand up from the edge of the bed she sat on.
"Lucas?"
"My lady, staring at the sunlight could be a hard work too, my buddy Dracas won't even dare step outside when the sun is out, I believe you must have exhausted yourself staring at the light. Come, lean on me"
Before Monica could say anything, he deftly caught her hands and pulled her into his hard chest....
