10 Weekend Warnings

"Ugh." Ozi groaned. He tried opening his eyes and saw that he was in a different location. He looked around and saw feminine decorations and posters on the wall.

"How was the floor master?" the Raven said to him jokingly.

Osiris felt his wounds and was a bit surprised that he had the wounds wrapped in bandages.

"What happened?" he asked. Ozi was still in pain even though the wounds were closed. He looked around some more. "Where am I?" he asked.

"In Elle's room." The Raven said to him.

Now Osiris was confused. The last thing he remembered was that he was struck down by Samara, a member of the Jushiomo.

"How the hell did we get here?" He asked.

Right on cue, Elle walked in. She was dressed up in her normal household clothes which consisted of a white fit shirt this time and short black shorts. She was wiping her hair with a towel. It seems that she just had taken a bath.

"Oh, you're awake!" She said with a smile on her face. Osiris was a bit puzzled. "It's already one in the afternoon." She said to him as she lay down on the bed.

Osiris got up and noticed that his outfit reverted back to his school uniform.

"Hmm." He said. "I guess it's the consequence of using too much of my Youkai. I reverted back to the human form I have." He said to himself.

The black-haired Soul Reaver opened the window of Elle's room and he looked around again. He saw that the damage that had wrought the nearby area where he fought Arawn had already disappeared.

"Clean as if nothing happened." He thought to himself once more. "I'd better get out of here quick." The black-haired Soul Reaver said as he attempted to step out on the roof.

"Hey you going already? Your wounds have not healed yet." Elle said to him, trying to stop him.

Osiris did not face her and the raven perched itself on his shoulder.

"So, you do remember what happened last night." Ozi said. He closed his eyes with a slight smirk.

"What do you mean?" Elle asked in response. "Of course, I do. You fought that guy with the ice, right?" she asked him.

"What else do you remember?" he asked her.

Elle thought to herself.

"Hmm, I remember you fighting him and the two of you being engulfed in a clash like in one of my anime shows and then a bright light shone. Soon after that I found myself in my room asleep." She said to him.

"So, she doesn't remember Samara and the other things she talked about that night. That memory wiper is precise all right." The raven thought to itself.

"That just leaves the question, how did we end up here in your room?" Osiris asked once more.

"Master I activated the failsafe in your ankh necklace. The vortex warp I conjured brought you to the closest safe place where you can recover your wounds. After that I patched you up." The raven replied.

Elle and Osiris blankly stared at the raven. They found it hard to believe that that small avian did all that.

Ozi felt his ankh necklace and felt that one of its beads were missing. He knew that the raven was capable of all that once he confirmed it with the necklace.

"Right." Osiris said. "I'd better get going." He said out loud.

Elle then stood up from her bed and went near the Soul Reaver. Osiris was taken aback due to her getting near.

"Why do I have the feeling that you almost died last night?" she asked him. "Do Soul Reavers always put their lives in danger like that?" the blonde-haired girl asked him.

Osiris sighed.

"It's part of the job." He replied. "Anyway, I really do have to get going. I have invaded your personal space more than enough for these past days." Ozi said to her with a look a faint smile.

Elle looked at the Soul Reaver opposite of her. She saw him covered in bandages and it was evident that Osiris had looked tired and fatigued.

"You looked so powerful last night. It was so cool and yet so scary." Elle started. "The aura you had while you fought the other guy, it was demonic." She said to him.

Demonic

"Demonic huh? Ain't the first time I heard that." Osiris said to himself.

"It's the weekend anyway and we have not that much homework so you'd better get some rest at your home." She said to him. "How are you going to go home anyway?" Elle asked.

Osiris conjured a black portal on the wall opposite of him. It was a teleportation portal the same ones used by the two other Soul Reavers.

"Hey! You might break my stuff!" she said to him

"It won't do such a thing." The raven replied to her.

"This is how I will get home." Osiris said to her and he went through the portal he had conjured.

After a few moments, Elle was left alone in her room and she was just browsing the net with her phone. Something caught her eye while she was browsing. It was Mion and she had sent her a private message.

"So, you heard of the series of blackouts last night in your area? I heard there was a major power outage and stuff." The message read to her.

Elle was a bit surprised due to the message. The blonde-haired girl had never thought that the impact of the fight between Osiris and Arawn would cause that much turmoil in their surroundings.

Her phone pinged and she saw another message from the same person.

"Anyway, maybe we can talk about these things personally. See you in the café near the JP-Line station in Shibuya? The usual place?" her friend asked.

Elle got her small bag and soon after wore her sneakers which were white in color.

"All right see you there." She replied to her friend.

After some time…

"I just think it's strange you know." Her brown-haired classmate said to the blonde. The two of them now were inside the aforementioned café. Mion sipped her coffee while Elle was taking a bite out of her croissant. The brown-haired female classmate wore a red tank top and stone wash jeans with black sandals.

"So far I have seen nothing of the sort." Elle replied, but she knew to herself that she was obviously lying.

"The people in the JP-Line were really talking about it. And also…" Mion said. "I heard the news that there were strange lights were seen also during said blackouts." She added.

Her friend noticed that Elle was a bit uneasy

"It wasn't that much of a disturbance, right?" the blonde thought to herself.

"Elle." Mion called her out.

"Just what the hell is going on?" the blonde continued to think.

"Elle!" her best friend called her. Finally, the blonde-haired student snapped out of her troublesome thinking phase.

"Yes, what is it?" she asked.

"You seem out of it today." Mion asked her. "Are you sure youre okay?" she asked her.

"Yes, I am sure. It's just I didn't get enough sleep last night." She replied to her.

"Why? Because you were thinking about the new kid all night?" Mion jokingly said.

Elle sighed at her friend's attempt.

"Whatever." She said in response and the two of them continued to hang out and spend their free time together since it is a weekend.

Early afternoon.

Osiris found himself on top of the roof of the department store in Shibuya known as the 106 once again. He still wore the bandages to help his wounds recover. The teen's eyes looked up in the sky and then he glanced on the people walking along the Shibuya crossing beneath him.

This time he wore a black shirt with the logo of skull wearing a straw hat. He also had on blue slim fit jeans and a pair of black slippers. His ankh necklace was still around his neck and the raven whom he had as a pet was perched on his shoulder.

My Youkai still has not recovered enough." He said out loud.

Right on cue, a black portal appeared behind the black-haired Soul Reaver. This caught his attention and he then tried to ready himself for battle.

"You'd be unwise to fight me here. Especially underneath the daylight." A female voice said to him.

Osiris looked at who emerged from the black teleportation portal. It was the figure that stopped him and Arawn from killing each other. As usual, the female Soul Reaver still wore the familiar long black trench coat that all Soul Reavers wear.

"Samara." He said to her.
