I opened my eyes.

I was lying in an empty void. It was really foggy and there was no one in sight.

I lifted myself up from the ground and inspected the area.

"W-where am I?"

I looked up in the sky, and my eyes widened.

There were 3 moons in the sky, or that's what I think they were.

They weren't glowing like the moon on earth.

Hmm, I don't think this place is earth.

I felt an eerie feeling creeping up my spine.

Where am I?

Then I heard a voice.

"You~"

I turned around, I couldn't see anything with all this fog.

"Behind you~"

I turned around again, and what I saw next made my heart skip a beat.

There was a dragon, a large red dragon. It had the appearance of a western dragon from the books I've read. It had a long neck and green eyes.

You know, he kind of reminded me of Ddraig from Highschool Dxd. Except he has three golden large spikes coming out of his back.

"W-who are you?"

I'd ask. I was shaking. This feeling was familiar. It was the feeling that I felt when I met Eo.

"I am Asynth. One of the three dragons of trinity drake~"

(Note: Asynth is pronounced ah-sinth)

His voice was scratchy. It was different than the one I heard earlier.

"W-where am I? I was just fighting someone a while ago."

There was panic and fear in my voice.

"Calm down, I brought your consciousness here. Time has stopped in the outside world~"

Time... stopped?

Then a vision appeared in front of me. I saw an image of me on the ground and Kyle who was about to stomp me. Everything was frozen, no one was moving. I could tell because Aiden was running towards us, but he was frozen in place.

I looked around once more.

"Why did you bring me here?"

Asynth grinned. He'd pulled something from behind his back.

CLANK!

He brought out a set of large chains that were bounded to his legs and wings.

"What the hell is this?"

"These are astral chains. They are used to restraint the most powerful beings in existence in the astral world~"

"Why were you chained?"

"I was chained because our father had the astral world chain us up. After all, he is the one to discover the astral world~"

"Us?"

"The trinity drake~"

I looked around. There were supposed to be three dragons according to Eo, but the other two weren't in sight.

"At your current strength, they will not meet with you right now~"

Well, that's a bummer. I kind of wanted to meet them.

"So, why was I brought here?"

Then Asynth stood up proudly.

"I can lend you my power, the power to beat that bastard you hate so much~"

Well, I only hate his arrogant attitude and his stupid face...

Nevermind, I actually hate him.

"How do I obtain this power of yours?"

Asynth pointed to the set of chains.

"I need you to break these chains of mine~"

I looked at the chains. There were about a hundred of them. Exactly how am I supposed to break these chains?

"That sword of yours could probably help."

Oh yeah, the Ultima Blade.

I summoned the Blade in my hand.

Ok, now to break these chains.

I swung the blade down onto the chains. I expected it to break it but then.

CLANG!

I failed, the chains didn't break at all.

"W-what the?"

I'd try again, but the same thing happened.

I'd continuously swung my blade, striking the chains, but it just wouldn't budge.

I didn't even make a single dent.

After a while, I was exhausted. Why couldn't I break these chains?!

Then, Asynth cackled.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHA~"

I stood up, using my blade as support.

"What the hell are you laughing at?!"

Asynth looked at me and crossed his arms.

"It looks like the sword doesn't recognize you as it's master yet~"

Huh? What do you mean?

"But I was able to see it and pull it out of the ground. What do you mean it doesn't recognize me as it's master?"

"FOOL~"

Asynth stomped, yelling at me.

I fell flat on my butt from the impact.

His voice echoed through the endless abyss. I bet that the other two could hear him.

I slowly picked myself up. Jeez, this guy just knocked me down with just a stomp.

"You were only able to see it because of your soul force. The trinity drake. Did you even bother to fulfill the requirements on the blade~"

"Requirements?"

Asynth cleared his throat and repeated the same thing Eo said.

"Only those with the purest heart, powerful spirit, and strong will, shall become my master and be able to wield me in battle. You may have a pure heart and a powerful spirit~"

Then he leaned his head closer to me, his menacing face right in front of me.

"But what about your will~"

"My will..."

I forgot about that. I have a pure heart, a powerful spirit, but I don't have a will. No wonder why I wasn't able to break the chains.

"What will should I have though?"

"You don't have a desire? What do you crave for? All beings have something that they want~"

"I-I..."

What kind of desire do I have? I never really desired for anything.

I tried thinking of what kind of desire I would have.

And then my perverted instincts kicked in.

I started to think of Asami and her lustful body. I'd start to think of Lucy's busty body as well. Images of them partially naked flew by the inside of my mind.

A lecherous smile appeared on my face. I really wanted to touch them right now.

I think I just got a nosebleed as well.

Asynth sighed, facepalming.

"Just like him, your desires are the same~"

Then the Ultima Blade started to glow.

"The blades glowing!"

I said with excitement.

"I think I'm able to cut the chains now."

I walked over to the chains, and I was ready to break them. Then Asynth said.

"Before you break them, are you sure you are ready to embrace my powers? It is not so easy~"

I looked at the blade, then at Asynth.

"It's too late now, I already became a Daemon and I'm already fighting that guy. What do you expect me to do? Let him beat my ass up?!"

There was anger in my voice. I really hated that guy, saying he's going to marry Asami? Bullshit, I'm not going to let anyone marry her?!

The sword started to glow brighter.

Asynth gave off a impressed smile.

"Your will, it's strong~"

I lifted the blade up and swung it down vertically. A shocked wave came out of the blade, breaking all the chains in line.

SHATTER!

I'd continue slashing through the other chains. My blade cut through them easily.

SLASH-SLASH-SLASH~

"Good... GOOD! Keep it up~"

No one, I mean no one, will touch Asami! She's mine... Mine!

Asami was the only thing on my mind right now. Just the thought of someone touching her pissed me off.

Then I broke all the chains.

I turned around.

Asynth was free of his chains, he'd stretch his neck up, his wings loosened up.

FLAP!

His large crimson wings extended, he released a red ominous aura.

Then he looked at me, his green eyes blazed as he stared at me.

"Thank you, I will lend you my strength in return."

His voice matched the voice I heard earlier.

Then he pointed at me.

At that moment, his aura traveled towards me and sank into my chest.

I felt a surge of power entering inside me. It was so much; it was as if I just received a power-up.

"You shall acknowledge my power."

I gripped onto my blade, which glowed brighter every second.

"Power that not even the gods can imagine."

I'd start breathing heavier and heavier.

"The power of..."

I'd roar as pain spread throughout my whole body.

"...the Crimson Catastrophic Dragon."

Then a red aura enveloped around me, blinding me in a sea of red.

"Now awaken..."

Those were the last words I heard.

And at that moment, one of the moons became blood red.
