Isaac

Isaiah rested in an Inn to clean himself and eat. After a day of recuperating, he fully restored his lost magic.

The Capital city of Dexter's kingdom was huge and posporous but there weren't any human present here. All of them were demons or other supernatural beings.

Isaiah changed his eyes and hair colour to the standard black colour of the kingdom, wore a mask and cloak and headed towards the palace. He paused his steps when he saw a turquoise coloured Crystal chain.

This? How is it here?

"How much?" Isaiah asked pointing his index finger at the Crystal chain.

The shop keeper grinned, "It is just 100 gold coins dear customer"

The shopkeeper had always wanted to get rid of this Crystal chain as it had a bright aura around it and clearly it was something which could not have been mined from their own kingdom.

No demon had wanted to buy it before and even if there were some demons who showed an inch of interest in it, they would not buy it after seeing the scratch mark on the crystal's base and he desperately hoped that the young man doesn't notice it.

But to his disappointment, Isaiah saw it and even lovingly rubbed it.

Lovingly?

The old man was dumbfounded but didn't mind because Isaiah paid for the crystal.

When Isaiah was about to place the crystal in his pouch, a cold hand grabbed his wrist.

Isaac?

Isaiah was almost on the verge of crying, in his entire life, his only regret was to not being able to save his dear friend. His only true friend. His lips quivered and he was unable to say anything. He was so happy that Isaac was still alive.

The beautiful eyes were the the same colour as the crystal in his hand, turquoise irises with a shimmer of white streaks. Extremely mesmerising as always.

Isaiah reminisced while staring into Isaac's eye.

"It's mine" Isaac coldly said and snatched the crystal chain away from Isaiah.

He would have definitely killed that man if not for him reminding Isaac so much of his lost love but it wasn't him!

His Isaiah has beautiful pink hair and cute sparkly pink eyes. Just thinking about his Isaiah caused him to miss him more even when Isaac's mind is only filled with his Isaiah.

Isaac glared at Isaiah and left. It wasn't surprising to Isaiah that Isaac was unable to identify him. He was in a disguise.

I am mature enough to not hold onto the past. Be happy that he is alive at least. Isaiah told to himself and sighed. It was his past. Their past. Nothing more and nothing less.

The palace was very vast and the guards all had fierce half animal traits. The palace was eerie at night. As a trained professional assassin, it wasn't difficult for Isaiah to break in without anyone's notice but entering the inner palace was another matter.

The inner palace was loaded with strong guards. Isaiah silently landed on one of the balcony of the inner palace

and sneaked in. He made himself invisible with magic so the regular guards weren't able to spot him.

"How about drinking alcohol? I have some with me now"

A robust guard told to another guard who was standing in front of the treasure room's door.

"What if the king comes to know?" A nervous looking guard replied.

"The king hasn't been here for years. You think he will suddenly show up today. Chill man, lets get drunk"

The buff guard replied to the hesitating man.

"But-"

Before the nervous guard could complete his sentence, Isaiah knocked him out.

The other guard took his spear and rushed forward but Isaiah dodged it and kicked at the guard's abdomen. The fact that this guard was able to see him proved that he was a High level guard.

Isaiah finally stabbed deep into his heart after exchanging a couple of moves against each other. Since he created a sound proof barrier before, nobody knew about the commotion.

The guards are weaker than I expected them to be.

Isaiah glanced at the window at the end of the corridor and found a bat staring at him with it's red eyes as if observing his every move. He shrugged the thought out of his brain and broke the array surrounding the treasure room with his magic and entered inside.

That was easy.

It was a huge room with mountains of gold coins and rare treasures but Isaiah wasn't interested in any of that. All he wanted was the gem of regeneration.

He saw a glowing gem covered with a transparent box placed at a three feet rod. Just as he was about to take it out, a hand dragged him and pushed him against the wall.

"What do we have here? If it isn't my tasty bitch"
