69 Chapter 22: Happy Days are over 4

It's been hard for Angel and Edward to have time together alone, most of the time they were both busy attending to their business.

Angel can only have time to work when Angelo came over from work to take care of Ashley. Ashley woke up the other day but she was traumatized by what happened to her that Angel can't leave her alone. There are times that she even spends the night in Ashley's room.

Gaston, on the other hand, didn't bother to visit his daughter, partly he now admitted to himself that it was his fault and blamed himself for it. He drunk all the time, he didn't bother to eat and bathe since that day.

There are times that he was suffering from an indescribable pain, but he doesn't want to let anyone knows about it.

One day, he was feeling that same excruciating pain again. He held his stomach and started vomiting until he fell limply on the ground.

When Angelo came from work he found his father on the ground lying on his vomit that has blood in it. He carried his father to the hospital wanting to save his father, but it's too late. The doctor declared that his father is dead even before they reach the hospital.

Angelo cried he doesn't know how to tell his sister about the sad news. Even if their father didn't treat them well and didn't deserve their tears, he was still their father and no one can change that.

When Angel heard the news, she rushed to the hospital, asking Rebecca to look after her sister.

Both her and Angelo cried for their father's death, Angel knows that her father was not a perfect father and didn't treat them like his own blood but somehow she understands him. She knew that her father's failure was the reason for his miserable life and that was the reason why she can't blame him completely for what happened. In fact, she didn't blame her father. She blamed the situation that they were in. If they are rich like the Cullen and the Cohen family, they won't suffer such a terrible fate.
