12 Chapter Eleven

After saying their vows to one another, they sealed it with a bite on each others right shoulder just next to the neck. They made sure to leave a good one that will never fade. For a ghoul to get married they need to leave a mark that will never fade somewhere where everyone can see. Yes today was Athena and Uta's wedding day. Today I finally became we.

Now I know what your wondering. How can they jump from mourning over a child they never got, to suddenly marriage. Well here lets go back to a month before today.

×××Flashback×××

It was an ordinary day. The shop was quite today and Uta took the opportunity to finish the masks that's out of date. Athena stood at the counter drawing in a book. The bell rings letting them know a customer has arrived.

"Welcome to HySy Mask-"

Athena stopped as she looked up. A man wearing a black tux stood at the door. His eyes locked onto Athena. A smile on his face.

"Daddy!~"

She ran up to the man and engulfed him in a enormous hug. Its been a year since he last saw his precious daughter. She's grown a lot. He can see she isn't his little girl anymore. No, she is a woman now.

"Hey Angel~"

"What are you doing here?"

"Well I've returned from my mission and heard rumours of my daughter working at the HySy ArtMask Studio. "

"Oh from a rumour..."

Athena then realised about the other rumours out there like the one of her and Uta. She started panicking. Her father never liked the idea of his little girl finding a man. He always said that they will ruin her innocent's. Well its clear to say Uta definitely ruined her innocent's.... Anyways she was silent before looking up at her dad.

"I already know about the other rumour Athena.."

"I can exp-"

"Kitten who was he-"

Uta froze. Athena turned around slowly and smiled.

" My father is here"

Uta had the idea to run after he heard all the stories she told him about her dad. You see Athena father is a well known Ghoul. Many low class ghoul even humans hire him to take out a threat. He was a hitman I guess you can say. The CCG classed him as an SSS ranked ghoul and those who tried to stop them was never found. So yes Uta wanted to run as far away as he can but decided against it for the sake of his girlfriend. He walked up to the man and stretched out his hand.

"Morning sir, my name is Uta and I'm dating your daughter."

" Johnson County."

Her father took his hand and squeezed it hard just to show Uta how strong he really is, surprisingly Uta stood his ground. He wasn't going give in to him even if it broke his hand.

"Well Athena you can run the shop on your own for a bit. I need to have a chat with this man."

Athena nodded and wished Uta good luck with her eyes.

" Okay daddy."

" Is that your studio?"

" Y-yes"

It was funny hearing Uta stutter but she didn't dare to laugh in that moment. Her father picked Uta up by the collar of his shirt. Almost like how a mummy kitty picks up her baby kitten. The door closed behind him and the click of the lock could be heard.

Please don't kill him daddy...

°In Uta's Office/Studio°

They stood there in silence untill her father spoke up.

"What do you want with my daughter?"

Okay then right to the point..

Uta took in a breath and looked him straight in the eye.

"Honestly Sir, I don't want anything from her except her love.-"

"Oh really you sure your not just after her body-"

" No I couldn't give a shit if she was fat and ugly-"

" You say that now wait until she has sex with you, then you'll grow tired of her and break her-"

"This isn't my place to say-"

" So don't say-"

"But sir your daughter and I already made love and it was the best night if my life!"

Silence filled the room as they glared at each other.

Yap I'm a dead man now...

Uta didn't know where he got the courage from but he knew for a fact his not losing Athena.

"You slept with my daughter?"

"Out of all honestly sir she is an adult now and can make her own dec-"

"and you just thought since she is all grown up you can fuck her?"

"No bu-"

"So what then. She came onto y-"

"WOULD YOU SHUT UP!"

Uta's sudden outburst took the man by surprise. Her father sat down on the couch in the studio and looked up at Uta.

"I love your daughter with my whole heart. She is perfect in my eyes. From her ocean blue eyes to her fair skin. Its true we aren't perfect, we have our fights but 7 months 10 months ago I received news that made my world only to have it taken away from me 3 months later. Our baby didn't make it..."

Uta's eyes teared up at the thought of those painful months.

"She was broken. Every night she'll cry her eyes out well I tried to stay strong for her. We both were looking forward to see our bundle of joy but never got the chance.-"

Uta looks up at the man and a tear slipped down his cheek.

"- till this day she still rubs her stomach. She still longs for our baby and so do I..."

Tears no streaming out his eyes. Uta fell to his knees.

" I vowed to love and protect her no matter the cost. Please don't take her away from me. Without her I'm nothing. Without her my life has no meaning. So I beg of you don't take her away from me"

Her father was taken back by Uta's appearances. All the other boys/men he spoke to always ran, left or even died. None of them acted this way. This confirmed the rumours he heard but mostly its confirmed the new on that's floating around.

'Athena is your daughter? '

'Yes how do you know her'

'You haven't heard? They're the power couple thats been on everyones lips. She and Uta are inseparable. Apart they were nobodies and weak but together they shine brighter then the sun itself.'

'Really now?'

That girl was right. This man does love Athena with all his got and he can see Athena loves him just as much. Her father started laughing and Uta sat up from the floor and looked at her father.

"You young man are a strange man." (Say it in all mights voice I dear you!)

He flashed Uta a smile and helped him up. He passed Uta his handkerchief so he can clean his face of.

"Uta?"

"Yes sir?"

"Do me a favour and marry my daughter"

"I was actually going to ask her tonight over dinner."

" Great then let me help you out."

" Thank you sir?"

" No you have earned my respect call me dad"

"... Dad?" ( Say that in midoriya's voice I dear you!)

Uta and her father walked out of his office. Athena was shocked to see Uta still breathing and walking. The strangest of all is her father was actually cracking jokes with Uta.

"Hey kitten, did anyone come?"

"Most importantly what happened in there? How are you still breathing?"

"Well Angel Uta suprised me."

Athena just looked at the too as they joked around and shared stories of what they use to do. The day went on strangely. Uta and her dad grew closer and Athena was just shocked.

Uta told her he wants to take her father out to a restaurant and she agreed to go with. Plan now set in action. They sat in a booth in the corner and ordered some coffee. The night went normally. Stories shared, jokes made and simply it just felt like a family dinner. Then...

"Athena County."

"Uta?"

He got out his seat and walked over to her side. He kneeled down and took her hand.

"Athena since that day I saved you, you've always had my heart. As I had the privilege to grow along side you, I learned that I've fallen for you. Athena the day you left us to go to a human college its broke me. The day you walked back into my life made me the happiest man alive. Please will you do me the honors of becoming my mate for life?"

Athena had tears streaming down her face. She was over joyed. She looked across the table to her father who smiled and nodded in return.

"Yes!"

Uta pulled her into a kiss. Finally he can be the happiest man alive.

So you see this is how they ended up a month later standing in front of a few friends and said they're vows. They're finally sealing the deal. They'll be together till the end of their days.
