19 Chapter Eighteen

Being a perant was tough. They cried them awake at night. They made a mess. They're always hungry and fussy. It was hard but fun for Uta and Athena. They knew what they were doing and took turns. Renji visted and played with the babies more often. The girl is named Layla and the boy is named Marco. Athena's dad came to visit them too and man did he spoil his gran babies. Life was amazing. Uta was home everyday to play with his angels. He didn't stop bragging about how adorable his children are. Kaneki wasn't here since he is with the CCG now but we did see him recently. He was different but we knew Kaneki is still there somewhere. Touka visited more often too but she was a little destracted because of Kaneki's sudden disappearence.

Uta and Athena did everything together. Bathed the babies, played with them, taught them new things and shared stories with them. It was adorable. They would all sleep together as one big happy family.

Layla was a wise young baby she grew very intelligent over the years and Marco was an artist just like his dad. He loved creating things out of nothing. He even made his mother a little wooden teddy bear for mother's day.

The park was the place you'll always find the family on weekends at. It was the place they loved spending family time together. Athena pushed Layla on the swings well Uta played catch with his son. There was a couple of incident were they ate some humans but it didn't lead to them so they were save.

Uta and Athena started training them. How to hunt  humans and feed on them. Where to go. How to cover it up. To never be alone. To fight or run if your in danger.

It was adorable when they did they're first hunt. Marco caught a big fat one and Layla caught a couple. Athena taught Layla how to cook and blend in with the humans. She was a real daddies girl tho. Marco was a Mama's boy he loved his dad but mum was his favourite.

Uta and Athena told them about the sister they never got and they understood why that tiny mask was on the wall next to theirs. Since then they started speak to the mask and tell it the stories and adventure of their days. It was really cute.
