The Events of the Past.
Konrad listened to her explanation about the war, and the happenings from over ten thousand years ago.
According to Miastiti, the world was originally filled with magic. There were uncountable numbers of magical creatures, plants and a few magical materials.
But there were also monsters...
Her Kingdom was called Egyptia. It was a powerful magical empire led by Pharaohs, whose bloodline originated from The gods themselves.
They were leading as the most advanced empire in the world and for hundreds of years their people lived in peace and prosperity.
But no peace could last forever.
A War broke out between the holy countries, and soon, even the godly pantheons of every kingdom engaged in the skirmish.
That's when the real threat appeared.
Apophis...
While the gods were preoccupied with each other, He appeared and started to ambush and kill them one after the other. When my Ancestor Ra also fell to his Machinations People understood that the threat was to big and the war was immediately stopped. Peoples and the remaining gods of all the kingdoms united together in the fight against the Demon of Chaos.
But the Monster was smart. He didn't engage them all together but instead fished them all one by one when they least expected it.
The gods might have been powerful but each one of them had their speciality that rarely actually was related to fighting. The powers they wielded to bless and create, had little to no effect on the Embodiment of Chaos, and before we realized it...The gods died out...
Only their descendants remained leading the war, but their strength differed from gods. They had the ability of choosing their strength. Soon, it became apparent that only the descendants stood in the way of Apophis, so they trained and looked for ways to stop him while he of course tried to hunt them down. But Apophis soon found out that they were much better in the actual fighting than the peaceful gods. Another long war started.
The Descendants, later called god's kin, fought with the cursed Chaos Creatures that followed Apophis but it was a war of attrition. And when you fight against a seemingly infinite number of monster and an immortal abomination, the outcome was easy to predict.
When a solution was finally created, there was only me left...
I remember my last moments...The shadow of Apophis and the infinite army. I fought him. And managed to seal him in a prison dimension but I was gravely injured...and the rest you know probably more than i do...

It was a lot to of information to process. Konrad was also surprised that she could tell this story without suffering another attack, but then he realized that what traumatized her happened after the fight.
"This is a lot to take in...Could you tell me though how could the god's kin be stronger in combat than the gods themselves?" He asked something that ticked him to no end.
≈Oh, that's actually quiet simple. Most gods were no fighters and the few gods of war died in an ambush of Apophis. They were usually extremely powerful in their own areas of expertise and Apophis used it against them.
Don't get me wrong. If we still had a god when the sealing magic was created, then Apophis wouldn't be able to break out of it, or at least that's what I believe happened.
But because I was under the Ritual of Regeneration at that time the people must have used our last resort. The Taboo Magic Annihilation Ritual.≈ Miastiti was now sitting back on her armchair with her eyes unfocused and a pained expression on her face.
≈I believe, they wanted use it at the last moment to kill Apophis by the blast of the ritual, but i don't know if they succeeded. But judging by how the world isn't submerged in Chaos, I'm led to believe that they were at least partially successful...≈
Konrad knew that all this information were very important but he couldn't take it seeing Mia in this state. He picked up a cookie on a plate and presented it to her.
"Thank you for telling me all this. I was trying to figure out the past for a long time now. Here try it. You'll like it." He said showing her the cookie on the plate.
She gave him a meek smile and grabbed the cookie. Then she bit into it and her eyes turned into start.
≈Nya! Delicious!≈ She started to quickly much on the cookie with a blissful expression and Konrad had to admit that she looked even prettier when smiling.
But then his expression faltered. He knew that he had to tell her his side of the story and he wasn't sure how she would take the fact that she slept for over ten thousand years.
When she was finally done with her cookie, her eyes landed on the rest of the treats and Konrad smiled.
"You can have whatever you want. But I thought that maybe we should go out of here and take a fresh breath of air. I'll take the cookies with us, don't worry!" He said seeing her hesitation. Mia beamed hearing his words so Konrad held out his hand to her and she put her hand on it with a blush. He helped her up and together they left the room side by side.
As they were walking down the staircase, Mia continued to send him curious glances.
"What is it Mia?" Konrad asked making Mia blush with the blunt usage of her nickname.
She averted her gaze and asked...
≈Umm i told you about myself but you didn't tell me about you...≈ She said still a bit hesitantly.
Konrad smiled at her.
"It's alright. That's probably my fault. When I found you, I actually classified you as potential danger but I can see that you're a good person."He explained, surprising Miastiti.
"Don't get me wrong. You are a strong and beautiful girl. I wanted to know who you were because I didn't want to accidentally release a hidden monster, but you are far from one. You are actually a hero who was ready to sacrifice yourself in order to same your people. I really admire you." Konrad explained, not realizing that Mia was more and more embarrassed with his every word.
She tried to change the topic.
≈Then since you already know me...could you tell me about yourself Konrad Caster?≈ She asked.
"Konrad is enough. And what can I say... I'm a normal boy..." At that Mia snorted and Konrad smiled wryly. "well at least I used to be a normal boy. But then I stumbled upon something that later gave me access to a magical language and allowed me to train my magic. The world right now doesn't even believe that magic exists, treating it like a fantasy story. Through trials and tribulations and over two years of research i managed to recreate a great amount of magic and improve my magic capacity to the state it is in now." Konrad said proudly.
≈Wait... You improved your Magic Capacity? I don't understand...≈She asked clearly confused so Konrad replied with a question of his own.
"Then how would people in your time increase your Mana Capacity?" He asked and she shook her head.
≈We wouldn't. Our Magic would grow with age depending on the person. That's why not many people could be qualified as a mage. Most people's magic would be barely enough to shoot a fireball a few times before being exhausted.≈ She explained making Konrad more confused now.
"Then what about exhausting your Mana continuously?" He asked.
≈What? Why would you do something like that? Don't you know that You would fall unconscious from magical exhaustion when your body have no Mana left?!≈ She said surprising Konrad.
" But I don't fall unconscious, I just feel sluggish for a moment but then it's alright." He explained shocking Mia.
Her mind was going a hundred miles per second.
≈ You said that you didn't have magic at all originally, right? Maybe that's the reason! Your body was used to being without magic, that's why it's not impossible for you to exhaust yourself with no serious side effects. If what you say is true and this can improve your magic power then this information is worth more than a kingdom!≈ She said in amazement.
Konrad scratched his head awkwardly and smiled.
"I'm just doing what i believe is right to get stronger. I really enjoy learning magic." He said but then he realized that they were finally in the Entrance Chamber with the Sun Mosaic on the floor.
"Right, let's go outside. I believe you are yet to see the place in its entirety." A grin appeared on his face. He couldn't wait to show somebody his creation.
Without further ado, Konrad pushed the front door open and Mia opened her eyes wide.
