Konrad Had a smile on his face while reading the description of his newest creation.
They were currently working on furnishing the place, when suddenly, Konrad had the idea to use observe on the actual building. He was really surprised that even though it was far from reaching the size of the Pyramid Of Cheops, it was over halfway when it came to its Mana Generation! The more he thought about it though, the more he realized that it was most likely thanks to its undamaged state and the smooth white limestone on the surface. Damn! How strong must have been the Great Pyramid when it was in its prime!
Konrad sighed and once again gave his Palace a once over. It was still as awesome as when he finished building it yesterday. He still remembered the time when he was designing the place. It took him a lot of time, but finally the location style and utility of a Mana Generating Building were just too good to pass. So he build a Pyramid!
Now he was certain that he made the right choice. With the green grass slowly growing all around the pyramid and with it's beautiful white surface, the place was really starting to resemble a work of art.
*Daddy! Where should I put them?!* Suddenly the voice of Octavia resounded in the distance, waking Konrad from his trance.
He looked towards his familiar, and saw her taking out a large number of colorful carpets from inside of her body.
At some point where they were still building the Palace, Konrad and Octavia found out that she could now store more than just raw materials into her Nucleus Subspace. It was most likely thanks to the Space Storage skill orbs that Octavia used. At first they thought that it just improved her capacity for the stuff she could absorb into her body, but then it turned out that she could now store entire objects without having them dissolved nor absorbed. It was almost like his own inventory but still slightly different.
Konrad suddenly woke up from his musing, realizing that he was asked a question.
"Oh? Umm...Put it in the Main Chamber! We'll think where to put them later!" He called back to her.
Octavia nodded and dragged the carpets into the Pyramid.
They were already halfway into the furnishing and Konrad was liking the place more and more with each comfy couch, each fluffy carpet and each expensive furniture they placed inside.
The duo could really go all out! The place was really big, so they had to get quiet a lot of furniture, but it wasn't a big problem. They just grabbed whatever caught their fancy. what really caused them a conundrum was how to actually put them all inside the palace.
It took some time but in the end they decided to just put them as they went and see how it goes. They could eventually put them differently later...
It took them another few days to finish the furnishing and they were really content with the outcome. Their aim was simple. Wholesome and homely! And Konrad had to admit that without octavia's help, it wouldn't have turned out as good as it is now.
Most of the rooms in the building varied in furniture, but they also had some parts in common. In the living areas, like bedrooms and Livingroom, Konrad made sure to place a lot of fluffy carpets, Couches, tables and whatever you could think should be placed in those rooms. Both the rooms and the corridors were lit using the light orb formations and Konrad really liked the fact that his first ever created formation was so versatile.
There were Many unused rooms in the palace but even them Konrad made sure to furnish as you never knew when you would have to house a guest...Or maybe he just didn't want to leave them empty after creating such an overly big building...
But this was just all about the living quarters aboveground! What was under the Palace was the really interesting part!
If you enter the pyramid through the main entrance and stand in the center of the Main Chamber on the floor mosaic of the sun that Octavia made in her free time, you will be transported with teleportation magic!
That's because the mosaic is hiding a magical formation under it, which teleports the user straight into the Basement or, as he planed to do, any other place in the area, upon calling out the password for the right destination. The password for the Basement was "The Lab!", and Konrad was really proud of this place.
It was a giant underground room that was the source of all the stone he used in the creation of the Palace aboveground. he still had quiet a lot of the material though that lied in neat blocks in one corner of this room only waiting to be used. The Chamber was, just like the palace, covered all over in smooth limestone, and you could see Light Orb Formations illuminating the entire place.
as the walls closed on the corner with the raw materials, they became more and more unfinished. That was because the chamber was still likely to expand in the future when he took care of those rocks that he still had in abundance. But that corner was not important. What was really interesting in this place was it's actual purpose that you could guess from the Name.
It was Konrad's Laboratory! Konrad had a lot of fun taking out all those unnecessary equipment and items out of his inventory, putting it all in order on separate shelves and tables, and setting up his research board with many pinned Parchments of Magic theories and formation prototypes. The more stuff he set up, the more this place resembled some kind of crazy scientist Lab, and Konrad loved it! It was his own secret Lab where he didn't need to hide anything from anybody!
A bunch of comfy armchairs or a giant pouffe to relax on, were a must too.
Konrad didn't even realize when his simple idea of making his own secret base, turned into this beautiful monstrosity...But he knew that he would be spending many years in this place, only making it better!

It was around the middle of Fall when the duo decided to finally stop working on their house and do something else instead.
Konrad was yet to figure out the Dragon Skin Technique but with his time finally freed it should be possible for him to look into it in more details.
When it comes to the the Fire Magic fundamentals Spell Book, Konrad already went through all of it and his understanding about magic and especially fire magic rose by a significant margin.
From the book, he came to understand that Mana was connected with his soul and could be classed as some kind of spiritual energy! It was quiet a significant piece of information, but he was jet to figure out how he could use that information.
The Master Tome Of Swords And Shields was another book that he already went through after spending an entire day on continuous reading. He was just too lazy to do anything that day so he just relaxed by reading the book. His understanding of the sword grew yet again and he knew that his training should now accelerate by a significant margin but he came to the realization that he wasn't into shields, even though he had the entire theory engraved into his head. In truth, what really stopped him from using shields was the fact of how bulky they were. He was unwilling to use them in case the were to hinder his movement but he didn't dismiss them all together either. Instead, he thought about how to make a shield that was perfect for him! A Magic Swordsman! The obvious idea was to make a Shield Spell but even though he could already make a Mana Barier, it was not an actual shield. It was something to think about and he would have to try and make such a spell or Technique one day...
The last thing worth mentioning would be the changes to this mysterious Broken Sword that Konrad Won in the legendary opening.
After placing the shard on its own personal table inside The Lab, Konrad left it there in the company of two magical ingots. He wanted to see if the weapon could absorb Mithrill and Adamantite by simply touching them for a long time.
It was already a few days since then and Konrad came to see if anything changed.

The weapon really repaired itself! But with the speed it was going now, it would take over three to five years before it is finished... He needed to figure out another way but thankfully there was many options for him to do so.
Konrad touched the Shard with his hand, feeling some kind of tiny vibration under his fingertips. This was really a mysterious object, but he couldn't wait to see how it turns out in the end.
He wanted to just straight up began experimenting with it but a voice from behind him stopped him from doing anything.
*Daddy! We need to go already! We were supposed to depart two hours ago, but you insisted on a quick check up of the base. Everything is in perfect condition Daddy! It's your Creation after all you don't need to worry about anything happening to it.* Said Octavia reassuringly and Konrad sighed hearing her words.
"I know Octavia. It's just...I feel like even though we went out a few times, it's the first time we are leaving this place for more than a day and i just feel reluctant to go...This place is just...Home..." He sighed as they teleported back into the Main Chamber. As he left through the front door, the grassy plain and tiny fruit tree sapling entered his vision. He really needed to create some kind of nature magic to accelerate their growth. Bet even though it was yet to fully grow up, the place was a beautiful Oasis in the middle of the desert. He even made a small lake in one quarter of his territory with the obvious intent of having his personal beach...
"So...The Tomb of Cheops?" Asked Konrad without turning to the slime that was right beside him.
*Tomb of Cheops!* Agreed Octavia.
And the duo departed to Giza.
