5 Chapter 5

Izuku's POV

It was a bad idea to come here, after all.. but I'm glad that Ochako insisted with coming with me.

I spot mom sitting idle in her car, tears flowing from her face. She had her hand over mouth, I could tell she was trying to keep it together.

Ochako patted my shoulder, speaking softly. "I'll wait in the car babe, go talk to your mom for a bit. I bet she'll feel a lot better."

"Thanks Ochako," I smiled warmly as she pecked my cheek and headed towards our car.

I sigh heavily and walk up my mom's car door, opening it. She turns her head, and suddenly jumps out and hugs me. "I'm sorry Izuku.. I'm so sorry.."

I hug her back, comforting her all I can. "Mom.. mom, you have nothing to be sorry about, it's not your fault.."

She soon became silent, pulling away from me. A small smile spread across her face as she wiped her tears. "Thanks Izuku, you being my son is all I could ask for. We don't need that wicked man anyways."

We sat there for a few moments, until I took her hands, "I'll call you when. I get off work. I have something to tell you later." I told my mother, soon walking away to the car.

I walk across the parking lot, waving to my mom as she backed out back onto the road.

I open the car door, putting on my seat belt. "How'd it go?" Ochako calmly asked.

"She's better now, to my relief. This visit wasn't exactly what either of us deep inside hoped it would be. We both knew he'd be like that though." I answered with a sigh.

"Well, at least I'm glad to hear she is feeling better, bless her soul.." Ochako tried to lighten the mood. "Let's head back to work, Deku. It'll help get your mind off of things."

I smile as I drive towards the agency, there was a comfortable silence along the way.
