5 The truth behind my past

I just found out i had cancer but i acted normal infront of Koichimaru.

When i arrived home i noticed that the door of my apartment was open, I went to check if someone was inside,when i walked inside i noticed that there was someone. It was one of my cousins from spain.

"Ummm akitake" my cousins said. "What are you doing here?" I asked my cousin in spanish.

"I came to tell you that auntie said that she wants you to marry you're old friend Maria,the rich girl that used to be you're friend", "they want you to take over the family's company".

Me: "i cant marry someone i dont love", "and she's already love oves someone else", "oh and for you're information i'm gay.

My cousin told me that i should leave USA or there would be problems. "I'm going to Barcelona for vacations in 2 days" i told him, and for the family not to worry because i was heading there eiter ways.

My cousins smiled and said: "Bet!

"Cya in 2 days then"

I didn't wanna go back.

But i really didnt had a choice.

I started packing my stuff for Spain.

After i was done packing i started cleaning my apartment.

I was mopping the floor while suddenly i started coughing.

When i saw my hands i had blood over them. I went to the bathroom,washed my hands and then i went into the kitchen and made some sushi.

After i was done i called Mayu and Agate if they wanted to come over wich it was ok with them. I went to a store near by my apartment and bought some drinks and some strawberry glazed donuts for dessert.

When i got back Mayu and Agate we're standing outside waiting for me with a bottle of wine, i opened the door, let them pass and we sat on the table.

I picked a glass for all of us and the sushi that i made.

We started eating and drinking, we had a great time untill i started coughing.

I went really fast to the bathroom for them not to see all the blood that i was coughing, i didn't wanna make them worry.

I then washed my hands, rinsed my mouth and went back into the livingroom. I just ignored what happened and just continued talking with them.

We got wasted and started laughing for stupid things, it was kinda funny.

The next morning i woke up i had a huge headache then i noticed that Agate and Mayu we're sleeping on eachother on the floor.

It was really funny i couldn't stop laughing.

I got up from my bed and went to take a shower. While i was washing myself up i heard Mayu and Agate screaming, i laughed and even fell in the bathroom floor, it was just so funny. When i finished showering Mayu and Agate we're laughing like pigs in the kitchen.

I asked them if they we're dating, Mayu started making a fuss saying he's straight while Agate just looked down and said nothing. I knew Agate was hiding that he was gay but i didn't say anything. They both took their paths and went home while i just cleaned the disaster we did last night.

While i was cleaning i heard someone knocking on the door, it was Koichi again. He came to ask me if i needed help packing my stuff wich i just packed after my cousin came into my apartment a day before, i invited him inside and told him that i already packed it.

Then i asked him: "Koichi why did you really came here for?" I knew he wasn't there for nothing.

He said that he just wanted to see my face again, it made me blush a little and i told him: "oh.. well i can order pizza if you want"

We hung out for a while and then he asked me...

Koichi: "Akitake do you trust in me..."

Me: "well i know you just for a few days but i guess you're trustworthy", "why you asking?"

Koichi: "Aki why do you act like this?", "why are you always alone and never socialize", "why aren't you happy?"

Me: "well...", "i guess i can tell you..."

"It was 3 years ago when me and Mayu moved from Spain and came to live in Chicago"

"I went to a store to buy a bottle of water"

"At that time i didn't know how to speak english very well so i had to ask for help", "And that's when i met alec...."

"Alec was a guy who worked in that store", "he offered me to be my tutor so i could learn english wich i accepted", "But after a month of him tutoring me i started having these strange feelings", "i couldn't stop thinking about him", "I couldn't sleep because i was thinking about him", "We got closer and closer every time"

"4 months later i learned english it wasn't that hard for me to learn", "Alec and me stayed as friends for a whole year", "i even invited Mayu and Agate to meet alec"

"Me and Alec ended up having feelings for eachother", "Wich i told Mayu and Agate", "they both accepted me and i was happy....", "i told my parents too..." "They got upset and didnt talk to me for a year but i didn't care"

"I was inlove"

"It was march 12 when me and alec kissed for the first time", "after that day we started dating"

"I tought everything was going great in my life...", "i already had Alec,Agate and Mayu", "what else did i need in my life?

"But i was wrong..."

"2 years later on november 18..."

"Me and Alec we went on a trip to Italy..."

"We came into our hotel room and we slept together that night", "a night of pleasure"

"I liked it", "not only because the feeling of him being in my body was hot but because i had someone to love.."

"We showered together and spent our time together", "i was completely satisfied with life"

"We went to sleep that night...", " i woke up around 2 am", "Alec wasn't in bed", "i

thought maybe he was in the bathroom", "oh god i was right.."

"When i opened the bathroom he was on the floor bleeding from his mouth..."

"I called 911 and went to the hospital"

"Ended up he had brain tumor and there was no way to save him..."

"I was strong and gave him everything he wanted before he died"

" A week later he died"

"His last words for me we're": "no matter how hard life is stay strong for me akitake", "i promiss you that you will find someone that will love you like i did", "don't lose hope yet"

"I love you honey"

"After that i lost happyness", "hope and love in this life", "i was lonely", "even if my friends we're there but... i kept living for him"

Koichi: "It makes sence why you're like this but do you think he would want to see you like this?"

Koichi: "this life is hard but you have to stay strong no matter what life throws at you"

Koichi: "you said you lost hope right, but..."

Koichi: "Let me be you're last hope!"

Koichi: "no matter what happens let me be here and try atleast, i'll try be the hope that you need!"

After koichi said those words i was surprised and i felt that maybe there is a little hope in this life.

Alec i love you with my heart and soul...
