1 Doubts & Friendship

Hi there, my name is Fumi-Akitake shortened aki, there's not much to say about me, i have rich parents,im a 19 year old college student and im a junior. This is a story about my life hope you like it.

Life... What is the purpose of life?,We born, we grow old and then.. We just die.., There are people with happy lives and there are people like, Like me... Most of the times i just think about a happy life with people that can love me and accept me for the person i am but then i go back to reality and remember that i dont really have friends or love, I dont have anyone... Its like my brain and heart are connected to each other, I just push people out of my life if they try to become close to me, because i'm afraid that i might get hurt again. I wonder what wouldve happend if...

It was on wendesday after school. I was walking in the school yard then suddenly i feel someone touching my shoulder.

It was Zero-Mayumu my childhood bestfriend, he's a really nice and funny person to hangout with he's probably one of the few people i trust.

Mayu: :OI akitake!", "Are you finished with you're classes?"

Me: "oh hi mayu", "yea im done with my classes"

Mayu: "god school is so boring", :thank god we finished our exams"

Me: "yea it was pretty tough"

Mayu: "either ways do you wanna hangout at my place like the old times?" "We can buy some canned sodas and we can order fried chicken or pizza"

Me: "Oh um sorry mayu today i feel kinda tired..."

Mayu: "oh its fine". "So you heading home now?"

Me: "umm yes i have to walk home before 4:00 pm"

Mayu: "want me to give you a ride?"

I was feeling a little better while i was talking to mayu but it felt like Mayu had pitty on me..

Me: "umm i dont wanna bother you.."

Mayu: "nonesence you dont bother me at all", "c'mon lets go to my car"

Mayu offered me a ride home and he knew how stressed i was even tho i didnt want to show it. We walked to his car and he opened the door for me. i was doubting because i tought i was annoying but he told me not to worry and to hop in the car.

It was a nice car it was a yellow Camaro, I'm usually not interested in cars its not my thing but i can say it was a really expensive car.

Mayu: "so aki what do you wanna do for a living"

Me: "i dont know yet im not sure...

What about you?"

Mayu: :i wanna be an engineer and win allot of money", "help people like i was in the past"

It was 14 years ago when i met mayumu. I moved from South- Korea and started a new life in Spain with my parents. My parents had bunch of company's but my mom wanted to move to her home in Spain, Barcelona.

I met mayu in the streets with a few boys playing soccer,he had a normal family not so rich but they had a nice home. My family never wanted me to hangout with him, they always said he wasnt from our high class family and that haning out with him might ruin the way people sees us.

My parents wanted me to break my friendship with mayu but i refused. My parents ended up threatening me that if i didnt break my friendship with him they would make sure that mayu's parents will lose their jobs. After that me and mayu we didn't talk for a whole month. Untill one day my parents had to go to a really important meeting and i was alone home with the maids. Mayu escaped that night from his house and sneaked into my house. After that i explained to him everything. When my parents arrived home mayu was with me. Mayu asked my parents if there's a problem that he was poor. Wich my parents said "you're family doesn't have money you're poor", "you know how much this could affect us?"

Mayu was pissed but he stayed calm. "Yea my parents aren't rich you're right", "but do you know who my uncle is?" Mayu responded. It ended up that mayu's uncle was rich even more then my family was, and that the company they we're gonna sign the contract with was his uncle's. My parents gave me permission to stay friends with him. We've been friends for more then 13 years now.

Mayu: "Akitake a question for you"

Me: "Hmm?", "what is it"

Mayu: "why do you live in that apartment?", "i mean for the money you pay for that apartment you can buy a house"

Me: the money isnt mine its my family's and i live alone so i think a house would be too big for me.

Mayu: "i can visit you everyday its not a big deal"

Me: "No Mayu"

Mayu: "you're no fun"

After that Mayu started asking me about love i didnt wanna hit that topic because thinking about it really hurts me. After 10 minutes i arrived home, i thanked Mayu for driving me home, i got inside and locked the door.

Then i went in the bathroom and took a cold shower. I felt lonely with no one by my side anymore but i just ignored my feelings. After i finished showering i walked into my room, there was a picture on my desk i turned it down and i went to sleep.

That night i had a nightmare it felt cold so cold. I saw someone in the dream and i started screaming telling him to come back i was crying i was begging him to come back but he just walked away...

And then i wondered, did he really love me? If he did then... why did he leave?
