“YOU NEVER KNOW”

I watched as the woman, in front of me, struggled to get her phone. I walked behind her. The thoughts of her close to my man flashed before me, which made me enraged.  She crawled slowly to the kitchen. Her hair tangled, her clothes soaked with blood... her blood.  She tried to reach for her phone, on the kitchen counter, but it was to no use. Without thinking, I hit her one last time with the hammer I was holding.
