It was monday morning and Mina had to go to school.
Tragic.
She got up, fed Ray and took him outside for a bit before heading inside to get dressed.
Once she finished, she walked to her bathroom, brushing her teeth and hair, washing her face, and taking an estrogen suppliment before leaving the house.
She was waiting for the bus when her neighbor down the road, Chaeyoung, pulled up in a car, rolling her window down.
"Hey Mina, wanna get in and have a ride to school?"
"But we don't know each other that well.." Mina protested.
"Well, think of it as getting to know each other, especially if I wanna be your friend" Chaeyoung smiled and opened her door for Mina, scooting over.
There was no problem In getting a new friend in a new country, so why the hell not?
Mina smiled and sat in the car with Chaeyoung, and swung one leg over the other.

When they arrived, Chaeyoung walked Mina to the office and went to her homeroom class.
A T.A. would be walking Mina around so it didn't really matter.
25 minutes passed and the teacher announced a new student arrival to the class.
Chaeyoung looked up and low and behold, Mina was outside the door, but what the teacher said caught her attention.
"Our new classmate is coming from Texas, please be nice and don't bully her."
The teacher finished his ramblings and welcomed Mina inside.
She stood at the front of the room to introduce herself.
"Hello..my name is Myoui Mina and I moved here from Texas with my Mom, Dad, Little brother who's going to the elementary school down the road, and my golden retriever, Ray."
She finished her mini introduction and sat next to Chaeyoung to get help as to what they were doing and how she could catch up.

The final bell rang and Chaeyoung jogged down the hall with her bags looking for a certain brunette.
"Mina!" Chaeyoung called out at the female down the hall.
Mina stopped walking and turned to hold eye-contact with the shorter female.
"Do...you...wan-wanna...catch.. a ride??" Chaeyoung panted once she reached the elder.
"I have to pick innie up from school if you don't mind" Mina spoke softly, placing a hand on Chaeyoungs shoulder to keep her upright.
Chaeyoung stood up and gave Mina a bright smile.
"Of course."

"MINAAAA NOONAAAAAA!!!!!" An overly excited 5 year old called out when he saw in his older sister step out of Chaeyoung's expensive car.
"Yes, innie, it's me" Mina laugh out, watching her brother run across the street and crash into her lower stomach, causing the two to let out a mini 'oof'.
"Jeonginnie, this is Chaeyoung, she's your Noona so be nice, shell be giving us a ride home today." Mina said, opening the door to the car and hoisting the tiny child into the backseat with Chaeyoung.
"Hello Noona!! My name is Kang Jeongin!!" The tiny child exclaimed to the older female in the car.
"Hello, I'm Chaeyoung..may I ask why your Noona has a different last name than you?" Charyoung glanced and Mina to see if it was okay, receiving a small nod and a tight lipped smile.
"I think it had something to do with Noona's other daddy, momma divorced him though after he found out-" he was cut off by Mina's hand on his mouth.
"That's enough, innie." Mina said, removing her hand from the five year old's mouth.
Chaeyoung mouthed an 'I'm Sorry' to Mina as the youngest snuggled up to his sister.
Mina nodded and gave her a small smile, tangling her fingers in her little brothers hair.

The car ride to Mina's house wasn't that long, and they ended up arriving in around ten minutes.
Mina turned to Chaeyoung and thanked her for the ride.
"Uhm, Mina-" Chaeyoung called out to the older.
Mina turned around and looked the younger in the eye.
"C-can I have your number?" Chaeyoung stuttered, getting an 'of course' from the older female.
Once they traded numbers, Chaeyoung pulled away from the driveway after she watched the female enter her house with her brother.
Chaeyoung sighed and continued on her way home.
°•°•°TIME SKIP TO THE WEEKEND°•°•°
"CHAEYOUNG-AH!" Mina called out to the female at the end of her driveway.
"Yes, unnie, I'm here." Chaeyoung smiled and grabbed the older females hand, leading her down the side walk and to a mini park down the road.
"Chae..where are we going?" Mina asked, subconsciously squeezing the youngers hand.
"This awesome clearing I found when I was younger." Chaeyoung stated before leading the elder into the woods near the park.
The two neared a small clearing in the center of the wooded area, Chaeyoung led Mina all the way there, never letting go of the elders hand.
Mina saw a mini picnic set up and smiled.
She had only been here for two weeks, yet someone already took her in.
"Have a seat, unnie, I packed strawberries, snacks, and sandwiches." Chaeyoung opened the basket and set everything up on the blanket under the two.
Mina thanked the younger and bit into one of the sweetest strawberries she had ever tasted.

"Chaeyoung-ah..can I tell you something?" The two had just finished lunch and were laying side by side on the blanket.
Chaeyoung hummed and turned her head to look at the ethereal being next to her.
"I'm uh..I'm not who you think I am.."
"What do you mean?"
"Chae, I'm trans. Male to Female." Mina spat out and shut her eyes, preparing for whatever malicious comments that would come from the younger.
"Well why didn't you say so sooner you dork" Chaeyoung rolled her body onto the olders' and latched her limbs around her, hug/snuggling her.
"You... don't think it's weird?"
"No, why would I? I have two moms, my uncle is a year older than me and his boyfriend is two years older than me, my cousin and his boyfriend live together and are also friends with a gay couple I tend to call mom and dad..the only people in my life who AREN'T a part of the LGBTQ community are my grandparents." Chaeyoung explained as she and the elder female sat up.
"In fact, it only makes me like you more~" Chaeyoung winked at the end, causing Mina to laugh and push the younger off her lap.
The two laughed for a while before Chaeyoung made eye contact with Mina.
"I'm serious though."
"Wait really?"
"Yes, Mina, I do care for you, more than I should..but I have to tell you something first.."
Mina nodded.
"Promise you won't freak out or call the police."
Mina was confused, but nodded anyway.
"Well..my entire family kidnaps their lovers and forces them to love them." Chaeyoung breathed out.
Mina's heart stopped, then rapidly grew pace.
"S-so..is that why you brought me here? To kidnap me?" Tears pricked the corners of Mina's eyes.
"No, because I'm not my family. It doesn't run in my blood since I'm not a blood relative."
Mina didn't calm down.
"Son Chaeyoung you have 10 seconds to explain."
"I'm not going to kidnap you because I'm only related to my family by a signed paper, I was adopted at a young age and therefore don't share the same bloodline. You have to believe me" Chaeyoung almost cried.
She couldn't believe it, she had told the older she loved her and now all she thinks of her is a monster.
"...so this, if I do say yes...will be a normal relationship?" Mina whispered, loud enough for the younger to year.
"Whatever you want, Mina." Chaeyoung whispered back.
And then, the unimaginable happened.
Mina leaned in, and kissed the younger.

Anyway yEah, a few character changes happened, I aged Mina and Chaeyoung up, Mina is trans, and jeongin has Daniel's last name :]
