Chapter 7- The Unexpected

It really was V I didn't know that he knows that I'm here. "Hey Y/N long time no see," V said as he opens his arms for me to hug him which I gladly accepted as I smiled embracing the moment of this reunion but to my dismay, I remembered... he was too tall for me! Though I heard him snicker as I giggled with him. When we departed from the hug, I flash a smile at him but worry that I have never seen him with glasses before, "Hey uh V why do you wear glasses?" I asked as I look at him worried about the fact that his glasses were black so I couldn't see his eyes clearly but when he noticed that I was staring at it he just formed a smile on his face as he patted my head to make me not worry about it much.

"It's nothing much to worry about," He said as I just nodded at him trying to convince myself of his terrible lies as I made him stay for a while in my apartment but I was taking out of my trance when he asked, "Why did you want to stay in this apartment?". It stunned me but I didn't let him know as I just smiled at him as I sat beside him on the couch while he stared at me, "I bought this apartment because I heard you were close to this place or building and it seems I'm correct" I said as he just chuckled of how clingy I was to him.

I was always so clingy to him since my parents introduced me to him, I'm glad that I met him but my mind was cut off from a bunch of notification on my phone which I gladly walked over, to see who is texting me as well as bugging me! Though it was only the group so I just giggled as I turn off the notifications and walk to where V was to sit on the couch and chill with him for a while since it's been a couple of years since I have seen him especially with his girlfriend.

"Hey uh, V how's your girlfriend?" I asked him as the room and the atmosphere was now quieter and awkward. 'Did I do something wrong or-' my thought was cut off by heavy breathing leading to V, he was crying by my instinct I quickly hugged him as he just wipes off the tears as he patted my head more smiling ignoring the pain. He may be mysterious but under that façade is a caring person who just wants to care for someone dear to him, he may be sad as well as troubled but he doesn't tell this to anybody, his greatest strength is also his greatest weakness.

I then saw a bouquet of iris on my vase I never remembered putting flowers on my vase but I just shake the eerie feeling as I walked over to the vase and take some flowers off of it as I walked back to V so I could give it to him. He looked at me on what I was doing with the flowers but I keep insisting it on giving it to him, "Iris is a beautiful flower as your friend I have full trust and hope for you so just accept the flowers" I said as I gave him my best smile which was quite rare as he just sighed and took the flowers off of my hand "You're always so stubborn since the beginning huh?" he said as we both laugh at each other.

"Well I should be going now, business calls," he said as he opens the door to the outside world connected to my apartment but before he left, "No matter what decision you pick I'll be here to guide you, be safe V," I said as he just smiled at me and left the apartment which made me sigh since I was now alone again with nothing to do I check the time, it was almost for me to go back to work so I made my way to my room to change clothes.

It was a long walk but I don't mind It much since it was easy to walk in the butler outfit, I went to the café as I checked in so I won't be marked absent or tardy. Everything in the café was amazing as well as the time I'm spending here since I don't mind it much as I walked towards a certain table to see 707 looking at the menu so he could treat himself with our sweets as well as drinks, when he looked up to see me standing there I just waved 'hi' as he just smiled in response. When I finished taking notes for his order I walked to the counter and gave the piece of paper for I to serve as I walk to the other tables to get their orders as I took the order of 707 so he could finally eat.

After some time, I finally finished my job as it was getting late so I walked back to my apartment just to meet up with 707 loitering in an alleyway, he was on his phone scrolling as he didn't notice me but before I could greet him someone grabbed my arm as they lead me away from 707 I looked at the person who took me away. It was Saeran he had a stoic look as I just complied with him and follow him silently.
