chapter 5 | making a move *edited*

[I do not own star wars or any anime used in this story]

AN) the second chapter today will be delayed as its longer then normal thank you for understanding :)

An hour had passed since summoning Kushimaru and Dosu. Jake gazed proudly at the army he had recently assembled. "Just seven days ago, I was an average person working 9 to 5, hanging out with friends, watching TV and anime," Jake reflected. Now, he had an army and was on the path to owning an entire planet. "I used to think buying a house was challenging, and now owning a planet feels within reach," he mused.

.

After reminiscing, Jake addressed his summoned allies, "We're gearing up for a war against our toughest adversary yet. Remember our past successes and let's win once more." Jake then discussed the battle plan with his companions. Kushimaru asked, "Boss, can I have some fun with a few of them?" Jake had no issues with it, under the condition that they only meet their fate after dealing with the enemy's military forces. "Make sure you finish them off only after we've neutralized their 'military' presence," he instructed.

.

Kushimaru was pleased to indulge his sadistic tendencies, savoring the opportunity to inflict pain on his victims. Dosu and Haku had no objections; they followed orders without question.

.

Jake turned to Sky and inquired, "Can I acquire powers for myself?" Sky's response came promptly, "{You can obtain items imbued with power to use, but not powers directly for yourself. Think of it like a devil fruit – an item of power.}" Jake expressed his frustration, responding, "I don't see those items in the shop." Sky clarified, "{You need to have control of a planet first.}"

.

Though Jake wasn't taken aback by this requirement, he couldn't help feeling annoyed with Sky. Undeterred, he accessed the shop and shifted his focus to vehicles from the Star Wars universe, opting for options that wouldn't attract undue attention.

Understanding the practicality of Multi-Troop Transports and their ability to house 120 B1 battle droids, Jake intended to make a purchase. However, lacking the necessary SP at the moment, he acknowledged that they would have to rely on foot travel. Jake, recognizing his vulnerability as an ordinary individual, made the decision to remain behind with five B1s, while the rest of the group embarked on an assault on the city.

.

(Author's Note) I'm nearing the completion of this planet's storyline. There's one more major battle to come before the planet is conquered. I understand many of you are here for the Star Wars aspect of the story, and I appreciate your continued support.)

.

"Kushimaru will lead this operation as the commander, drawing from his special ops experience to guide the way," Jake stated.

.

Concealed behind his ANBU mask, Kushimaru's sinister grin went unnoticed as he declared, "Move out, everyone. Let's exterminate those bugs." Jake winced slightly at the chorus of "Roger Roger" from the 1000 B1 battle droids, which signified their readiness to advance. Guided by Haku's directions, the group moved towards the city.

.

Upon reaching the city, Kushimaru's preference for a full-on assault became evident, aiming to maximize the chaos. Haku intervened, suggesting a preliminary assessment of the enemy's readiness. Kushimaru, albeit somewhat reluctantly, concurred. Lacking skilled ninja capable of restraint, Dosu and Haku took on the task of counting guards, revealing a current count of 200 on duty. However, the status of experienced personnel off-duty remained unknown.

.

With a five-to-one numerical advantage and superior troops, the upcoming battle seemed relatively straightforward. After sharing this information with Kushimaru, he acknowledged the ease of the fight and instructed, "Let's execute a frontal full assault with 100 droids, while the remaining sides are covered by 100 droids each. We can't afford any survivors to escape." Dosu indicated agreement, while Haku proposed a quicker approach from the rear. Kushimaru gave the green light, saying, "Agreed."

.

In the calm of the day in ____, a group of four individuals enjoyed a meal at a tavern. One of them observed, "Things have become quite quiet since the kingdom deployed these guards." Another agreed, acknowledging the diminished threat of robberies.

.

However, the first person lamented the loss of the Entertainment District due to high taxes. Just then, a guard burst in, urgently rallying the few guards present, announcing an invasion by a strange humanoid group of a thousand. The guards quickly departed, leaving one behind with instructions to guide civilians to safety.

.

As the group rushed towards the shelter, one of them sarcastically addressed the person who had claimed nothing ever happened in their town. "Nothing happens, huh?" he said with a touch of irony. The individual tried to defend himself, stating, "How the hell was I supposed to know that?" Their conversation was abruptly cut short by chilling screams that echoed through the air. In response, they all started running, witnessing someone casting ice spikes that struck fleeing civilians. Seeking refuge, they took cover in a nearby building.

.

Inside the building, one of them spotted a sword and moved to grab it, only to be met with a sudden and lethal assault. A red, glowing object struck him, resulting in instant charred destruction. Meanwhile, another rushed to check on their fallen friend. The two who had initially underestimated the situation, along with the person who had been defending their safety, cowered under a bed, paralyzed by fear.

.

For hours, they remained hidden, their panic mounting, as the cacophony of brutal footsteps and agonized cries filled the air. When the noise eventually subsided, they cautiously emerged from their hiding spot, only to be met with a scene of utter carnage that left them stunned and horrified.

.

One of the two urgently told the other, "We need to alert the King about this and seek vengeance for Gwynn." The other individual glanced at the lifeless form of Gwynn, who had fallen victim to Kushimaru's assault, and gave a determined nod. Without hesitation, they both started sprinting towards their destination, driven by the need to warn the King and avenge their fallen comrade.

.

Jake gained a substantial boost of +228,680 SP from the elimination of 11,434 individuals. Despite the loss of 100 droids during the operation, he found satisfaction in the outcome. The actual number of guards inside the city, however, exceeded their initial estimation, reaching 500 – more than double their count. Yet, Jake's perspective remained positive; the loss of a few droids seemed inconsequential when compared to the potential gain of an impressive 10,000 replacements.
