Chapter 10 – Selling stuff.
"Okay, can anybody fucking explain it to me, what the heck is a berserk mode?!" – said Forge while drinking potion.
"We don't bloody know! There wasn't anything like in beta. They changed way more stuff in official release that we expected." – said Hype.
"Well, in the past monsters weren't really challenging enough, so maybe developers changed it because of that?" – said Kitty.
"Maybe."
"Well, during that berserk mode that guy attack got doubled at least, if I wasn't drinking potion regular, I would probably get killed by that slap from before. But by look of things, his defense got extremely reduced because of it as well, I noticed that after my blade was able to cut into it quite deep when I couldn't before. If that wasn't because of that, I would probably not cut off his head."

(I got duplicate of the same item twice, well let's check if it useful first.)

[A piece of gear that was made using materials from cave bear. The item its self was able to inherit fraction of the power that once belonged to cave bear.]

[This item possess a set effect:
(2) – increases user [Health] by 4.
(4) – increases user [Health] by 4 and grant regeneration bonus to HP by 3.

"Hm? Dude? Is something wrong?" – said Hype after hearing Forge saying something very quietly while holding a helmet.
"Wait, but if I were to do that, would the results be same? I never tested it or had a chance to see. Maybe only specific monsters can…."
Forge was talking to himself like crazy, making the Hype take a step back in fear.
"DUDE!" – shouted Hype.
"W-what?"
"What the heck are you doing?"
"Oh, well…. I'm quite interested in salvaging this item."
"What?! Don't do that you idiot! It's very good item! Why do you want to do that in the first place?!"
"W-well, you see. I'm interested about two things. How does it increases other stat besides [Physical Defense] and how set effect exactly works? Is it possible to recreate them? Or change the bonus into a different one? It said that it "INHERIT FRACTION OF THE POWER", so does that mean, it all depends on the material? Or is there a special crafting method involved?"
"Okay! Stop talking! For crying out loud. Fuck me." – said Hype.
"Sorry. I kind of got too excited."
"Anyway, what did you get?" – said Forge.
"Sword, dagger, and two pair of pants. Not good really." – said Hype.
"Three helmets, gauntlet and piece of chest armor. We got way too much duplicates and we didn't get anything with high item ranking or anything as well. Do we even have a full set in the first place anyway?" – said Kitty.
"We need…. Chest armor, helmet, pants, boots, gauntlet."
"I got everything, besides pants and got extra helmet and gauntlet."
"So, we only have 2 sets. You two use them, I want to use lighter equipment, so it really doesn't fit me."
The party beginned equipping their new armor.
"…."
"What?"
"No, you just, nothing." – said both Hype and Kitty after staring at the Forge who looks like a bear."
"Anyway, how often are we need to change our equipment in the first place? We are changing our items every day at least 2 to 3 times. Is this normal?" – asked Forge.
"Pretty much. When you begin playing you focus more on getting useful items and they are mostly very limited, so you often end up changing your equipment. In later stages when you are higher level, you need to look for item that you can use for long time and fits your build."
"Anyway, we already got what we wanted, so let's go back quickly back to the town. I want to log out for today." – said Kitty.
The trio got out of the dungeon and quickly headed off.
"Okay, that is everything. We already sold everything we didn't need. We are going, what about you?" – asked Hype.
"No, I will stay bit longer. I got fresh inspiration for my work thanks to that bear gear. But I probably won't stay too long since its already getting late."
"Have fun then."
[Kitty has logged off.]
[Hype has logged off.]
[The party has been disbanded.]
(Well then, I got quiet amount of money after selling stuff from dungeon and got also quiet amount of money. I think I should be able to afford iron ore now.)
"Hm?"
(Players? A group of 5 on top of that. Their equipment is quite basic and they looked beaten up. I guess they must have just arrived here and were dealing with spiders.)
(Hm…. Maybe I should…)
"Fuck me! You never told us about this anything!" – said female elf player.
"Because there wasn't anything like this in beta! There was supposed to be bunnies and slimes, I swear I didn't knew about any of this." – said male blue skinned orc player.
"Well next time maybe confirm – BEHIND YOU!" – shouted female elf.
The orc player turned his head around, only to see a giant bear monster with the horn sticking out from its head right behind him.
"Why the heck there is monster here?!"
"Wait! I'm player!" – said Forge, trying to calm down players that were pointing their weapons at him.
"Wait what?"
"My name is Forge and I'm production type class user."
"Production? Aren't that type class quite useless? You want us to sell our stuff? No thanks man, we are not- "
Before female elf could finish her sentence, Forge quickly pulled out a bow from his inventory and showed it to the elf.
[Wolf Bite Bow]
[A low bow with reinforced and strengthen with wolf fangs on its limbs. The special modification with the bow, not only increased the weapon power, but also allows weapon to be used as close range weapon.]

(This weapons is one of my experiments I made when I was messing around with monsters' materials. This girl carries the bow on her back, meaning she uses bow. So, there is possibility that she will be interested in buying it.)
"Do you want to buy it?"
"…. How much?" – said female elf player after bit of thinking.
"270 gold, if you don't have it, I can also take some materials to cover up the cost."
The elf suddenly turned away and talked with her companions, before moments later returning to Forge.
"Do you sell arrows by any chance as well?"

"Yes, I do, but if you want many arrows, you will have to wait a moment until I craft them."
"Give me 100 of those."
"Excuse me?"
"You heard me, give me 100, I will pay full price."
(Em, okay? I wasn't expecting that.) – "I only have 20 on me right now, so you will have to wait a moment. I will be right back."

"Do you have anything else for sale?"
(Do I? I have my armor that I was using when I was doing dungeon, the two swords were bought by Hype and this is the last thing on me.)

[A copper shield covered in wild wolf leather. The shield possess a sharp copper tip that can be used as the weapon.]

"Those are two things I can offer right now. I can make some other stuff, but I still need to do other stuff and get bit better. So, do you want to buy it as well?"
"Hm…" – the male orc player approached Forge.
"I can offer 350 gold for it, is it enough?" – said orc player.
"I can also gave for all 3 pieces 600 gold. Is it enough?"
(Wait what. That is more than enough. I was planning to sell shield as the same price as the bow and armor for 450. I wasn't expecting that.)
"Deal! Your nickname?"
"Avalanche."

The Forge quickly left the group of players and headed towards the forge in hurry.

(My first clients! I finally sold something and they seemed happy with their purchases! I thought it would go way harder or something. I was already preparing myself to bargain the price.)
Moments later.
"Sorry for the delay, here are the remaining 80 arrows you ordered."
"No problem. Question, can I add you to friends?" – said female elf.
"Oh. Sure, why not. My nickname is Forge."

"By the way, is it possible to buy anything else?" – asked Quicy.
"Sorry, I have to log out now."
"Shame, then see you next time."
[Player Forge has logged off.]
"Interesting, I didn't know that the rumored insectian blacksmithing would be one to approached us in this god forsaken place and on top of that sell us something useful."
"What do you think about him honey?"

"Based on his reaction, he wasn't expecting me to pay this much, even though this those were very good items. I also never encounter or heard the player by the name "Forge" during beta, meaning he is complete newbie." – said male orc player named Avalanche.

"So, do you think it would be good to keep connection with him?" – said Quicy.
"I think it will be good idea. Right now, those are low level items, but with stats above the average. If he would create a high level equipment, that's when thing may turn interesting."
