88 Ch-84- Aftermath

After I dealt with the portal, I saw several SHIELD jets coming to the Stark tower. One of them landed on the helipad, while the others went for rescue work. Fury, Natasha, Banner and Steve who was missing an arm came out of the jet.

Steve came forward and hugged me, "Thank you for saving us all, the council was going to launch a nuke here."

"That's okay but what happened to your arm?" I asked. I didn't remember Steve having lost an arm in the MCU. Barton somewhat did in Age of Ultron but that too was fixed later.

"Tony did. He was not in control of himself."Steve said with a sigh.

"He was one of the first to run towards Stark Tower when the portal opened and without a proper plan was enthralled by her. I didn't even notice that he was acting weird until he tried to cut me, it's only because of my reflexes that I was able to avoid the blow." Steve explained to me.

"Well Stark is weird and you can't die yet, you still owe Peggy a dance. And I am pretty sure if you died again without having had the dance then Peggy will kill me. God or not, I am still afraid of that woman" I said and Steve laughed at it.(A/N: It's a joke, he doesn't mean that literally.)

"As touching as this reunion is, I need to ask the question, where is the woman?" Nick said breaking the light mood I was trying to create.

"She's none of your concern, Nick." I said. He probably won't even be able to keep her imprisoned. I will just take her with me and gift her to Karnilla.

"She is my concern when she just comes to my planet and declares a war, using my own people as her pet monkeys." Nick yelled.

"So Bruce, I understand why Natasha wasn't helping here , but what about the big guy? Why didn't I see him ripping out Chitauri." I asked ignoring Nick.

"And let the big guy be under her control, I couldn't take that chance." Bruce replied, while Natasha looked pissed

"You didn't know that, I bet the Hulk would have just smashed her in order to please her. Wanna give it a try?" I asked.

"No thanks." Said Banner.

"Where is Barton?" I asked.

"We don't know, he escaped somehow. Looks like he is still not out of the mental conditioning she did." Natasha answered.

"Well with the resources of SHIELD I think you all will probably find him sooner or later.At most he will try to attack us to get her out. Just hit him in the head hard when you catch him. He will probably be fine after that. . "

"Vali, where is that woman?" Nick said and I could notice a vein on his head.

"Would you calm down Nick, she is under control and by the way her name is Amora. She's a magician who can contol men through her words and I am pretty much immune to her so I think it would be better if I take care of her. Tell me the name of those who thought it was a good idea to launch a nuke here. I'll pay them a visit later and it won't be a nice one."

"So many people dead, we could have saved them had we known about her earlier. We could have stopped Stark from going without a plan. He would have been a help." Steve sighed.

"How is Stark by the way? I didn't kill him, did I?" I asked

"He is fine, a little blue but Banner took care of him." said Natasha.

"He was having a cardiac arrest, you shouldn't have had ripped the arc reactor out." Bruce said

"Well it was the easiest way to knock him out of the fight. And I was pretty sure he would be fine. As for the dead I think I can do something."

I tried to pull my power from my core. I needed confirm whether my title of God of Samsara was just a title or held some power behing it. Pulling each and every ounce that I could, I tried to bring back the people that died. I clenched my fist, closed my eyes and yelled just to pull off this miracle.

"Death is my domain mortal." I heard in a bleek tone.

I opened my eyes to see that time had stopped, everything was black and white. Stood before me was a boney figure. It didn't take a genius to know who she was.

"Lady Death." I greeted her.

"So weak, so pathetic and yet you think you can get souls from me." She replied.

"I will get them."

Sound of laughter echoed.

"I'll like to see you try." Death said and vanished.
