30: Not Done Yet

They still had a year according to Shunsuke's memory. However, what Klein and Max knew is that time is relative, so Klein continued to search for the person who had the power to erase memories from a great number of people and potentially cause a Reality Rewriting event. However, butterfly events happen.

Exactly one week after the whole awkward reunion between Maw, Amanda, and Kevin, Klein detected a huge amount of psionic energy mixed with another type of energy that he couldn't identify because this was the first time he ever felt it... The psionic energy was easy to determine the origins and connect it to C-01 energy, but the second one felt... Different and much purer than the void energy that resides between realities that Klein was hit by once. Soon his body began to absorb this energy and differently from the void energy that would fight back, this one volunteer and easily is absorbed by Klein.

Cosmic energy, a very powerful and stable source of energy that is in every single universe know and unknown, one of the basic pillars to existence. Gets extremely chaotic near its opposite energy, [Void Energy]. To completely control Cosmic energy though, you need to fuse it with [Void Energy] as well. The same goes for [Void Energy] too, only masters of both energies have the multiverse in their hands.

Klein was surprised for a second before he quickly used his [Meta Powers: Meta Time Manipulation (D)] to reverse time, 1 minute. He quickly teleported to Max and grabbed her so she could stop time for as long as she can so Klein can go to the source of this energy burst that encased the entirety of Japan a literal minute ago. "Stop time. We don't have much of it to spend talking." Max, as she was already used to being surprised by Klein all the time, so by reacting she stopped time. "Concentrate and keep it" Klein instructed as six wings unfurled from behind his back, he had to be fast because he doesn't know if someone could stop Max's time-stopping ability. Klein could stop time, but only for a few seconds because of his low rank on his [Meta Powers: Meta Time Manipulation (D)].

His speed surpassed the sound barrier as he approached the place where he felt the energy surging from. It was in the middle of the ocean right above the northern region of the island that is Japan. He could see that time was still stopped, but one other figure was moving, just like he and Max can do as well. The figure looked at Klein and Klein locked eyes with the figure and the person behind the figure, who was being affected by the time-stopping ability of Max. "Interesting..."Klein commented, suddenly he felt the upper half of his body slide and fall off, it was disconnected from the lower half of his body. It was so fast that he didn't have time to react at all... It was like it had already happened.

His [Meta Powers: Temporal Distortion Detection (A)] could easily detect the temporal anomaly that this person was. Their power was temporal-based or connected to temporal-based abilities. Or it is a conceptual power which he is using right now to fight against Max's [Za Warudo]? Probably the third option.

The ability to cut through time! Slashes did in the future affect you in the present, able to cut through everything by simply accelerating the time of the slash, Increasing speed and attack power, if hit, time will accelerate and the target may die of old age + blood loss.

Klein was surprised to see this ability was truly temporal-based as well as a conceptual attack! This person's ability was too dangerous because it alone could end and create a different timeline and even cause an End of Reality event! Klein was immune to the aging process, everything it did was accelerate his healing process, which had his lower half create another upper half to substitute the lost upper half, making Klein's mind transfer to the new upper half while the lost upper half simply disappeared. Now, Klein could end this by now by using [All mighty Powers: Erasure (SSS)], but this is a rare opportunity that he needed to increase the rank of both his [Meta Powers: Meta Space Manipulation (D)] and [Meta Powers: Meta Time Manipulation (D)]! Even after another 6 months, these two abilities did not increase a single rank. It was hard to control them and Klein was having a hard time learning to do so.

Even with his [Enchantment: Fast Learner (A)], he could not learn faster about both abilities. So combat would help him, also it's been a complete year since he hasn't killed someone yet! Human or humanoid... His bloodlust is getting harder and harder to control, now he has an opportunity to release his bloodlust and relax! So he of course will do such a thing.

Klein didn't know that, but he was smiling. A creepy smile, a smile that would be impossible for a human being. A very... SUBARASHI smile.

Suddenly his body began to receive several slash wounds across his body, but because he already knew the figure's powers he could easily resist them, he began to chuckle as huge chunks of his flesh fell into the ocean, a new chuck surging right after. His golden wings were not suitable for his image at this moment, but it was easily corrected as his blood splashed on the golden feather and turned them bloody red. His hands suddenly transformed into a pair of spearheads, he moved his arms in a slashing move, hand up to the sky and down to the earth. The figure didn't know what was happening, but the figure could feel danger, they tried to run but it was too late...

Everything stopped, there was the sound of glass breaking as a huge, more than 100 feet tall blade of purple and green energy, this was the almost uncontrollable attack that Klein has been developing. He likes to call it [Time-Space Slash], it was easier for him to control this ability because of his new [Meta Powers: Temporal Slash], it will probably vanish when his [Meta Powers: Meta Time Manipulation (D)] is strong enough to absorb it. Just as his hand dropped down, the slash followed, and then everything was silent.

The blade broke like glass as the figure that was its target simply began to turn into dust. Klein suspects that the organization is now capturing every child they can who has any supernatural power or is the sibling of any person with superpowers. Just as the person died, time began to flow normally, Klein looked at the person who was going to erase the memories of everyone and simply smiled. Soon he left the place, his whole body full of blood.

At least now he can rest, the organization can be delt by his students, he doesn't need to intervene. Maybe he should get newer students? Maybe later in life.

Klein thought it was over... But no.

It was far from over.

A man wearing a white coat rushed past personnel of his site. This was the director of this site, he just revived the signal that both Experiment N-87466 a.k.a Time Cut and Experiment N-017637 a.k.a Memory Eraser were dead. He rushed past the staff and entered a room, he took out his phone and searched through his pockets for something, soon he found a key. It was a red key with the words [Supernova] written on it, he inserted the key in a suitcase and opened it, inside the suitcase was a red key card that he used to open the door before him.

It was the last meeting room.

Their plan failed. It was their last hope of getting something good! The higher-ups were pissed off and wanted results... Oh well, if he is going down, he will take everything with him. The man smiled to himself as he pressed a button, saying: "If I can't have wings, then I will make the sky fall."

Suddenly, the whole facility began to shake.
