Cat Hou Hui to The Rescue!

Auspicious Clouds.

There were many innate skills within the Celestial Realm's great clans. The ba serpent clan's Devouring Power, the phoenix clan's Nirvana Fire, the tiger clan's Slaughter Domain, etc.

However, the imperial dragon clan's Auspicious Clouds was without a shred of doubt the most dreadful, for it allowed its user to completely sever the connection their opponent possessed to the world's natural laws and qi.

As long as they didn't achieve Law Wielding, regardless of their cultivation base, they couldn't resist. And within the immortal path which relied so intensely on the ancient laws, that ability was nothing less than an atomic bomb.

If that wasn't enough, it also allowed its owners to increase their understanding and mastery of the laws by a hundred-fold. And thanks to that ability, the imperial dragon clan had since the beginning of times, dominated the three realms.

But this all changed when in an explosion of wrath, Tian Mo butchered Xuan Yuan and placed a horrifying curse on his entire bloodline that prevented the imperial dragon clan from using even a fraction of their innate skill's true power across millions of years.

Only when Tian Tu became a Supreme God was the curse broken and their true power restored.

In those millions of years, however, the divine clans had utterly forgotten the dreadfulness of that innate skill.

Feng Wu Chen crashed onto the ground several miles away with blood painting his figure.

"Elder brother!"

Feng Wu Shuang howled and rushed toward him. But before she could reach him, a silver-haired woman of incomparable beauty barred her path. Standing at around six feet, she breathed elegance and refinement, but the distant aura emanating from her painted the image of an inapproachable fairy. And within her silver eyes, the only thing discernable was blind indifference. Oddly, she bore a striking resemblance to Yue Li.

"Long Bai Xin get lost!"

Long Bai Xin was Long Xie's elder sister, the head of the nine celestial fairies and one of the most outstanding juniors of the imperial dragon clan. Her cultivation had already reached the late stage of Dao Threading which was far beyond what Feng Wu Shuang could contend with.

But seeing her brother's state, she couldn't take that into account.

"Annoying. Wu Shuang, on my back!"

Cat Hou Hui freed himself from Feng Wu Shuang's grasp and expended until he reached a hundred meters. Feng Wu Shuang jumped onto his back, and at breakneck speed, he turned into a beam of truth light that charged Long Bai Xin.

"Oh? A Truth Law Beast?"

"Interesting but it matters not. Innate Skill: Auspicious Clouds!"

The same process was repeated. Rainbow-colored clouds were conjured and swirled around Long Bai Xin while her entire body glittered with silver light.

But as she waited for the law beast to lose its connection to the natural laws, the unthinkable happened.

The three-eyed white cat raised its paw and conjured white light chains that broke through the auspicious clouds and tied up Long Bai Xin.

"Meow!"

"Hu-?"

She didn't even have the time to say "Huh?" before the cat's paw smacked her across the cheek and sent her flying into a nearby boulder. Unhindered, Cat Hou Hui resumed charge and pounced onto the complacent Long Xie.

"Meow!"

Sensing that something drastically wrong was going on, Long Xie's attention shifted from Feng Wu Chen. But before he could assess the situation, Cat Hou Hui's fierce claws slammed into his chest and sent him spiraling into the air with an eruption of blood.

Cat Hou Hui then grabbed Feng Wu Chen by the collar and flew toward the cave's entrance!

"Meow!"

"Quick, block the cat!"

"That cat has most likely reached law wielding so suppressing it with our Auspicious Clouds will not work. That being the case, encircle and butcher it with our magical abilities."

In tandem, the dozen dragon immortals shot toward Cat Hou Hui, barred his path, and trapped him in a makeshift formation.

"Kill!"

They roared and deployed an array of magical abilities that flew toward him at lightning speed.

"Meow!"

Dozens of green and white chains sprang from within Cat Hou Hui's three eyes and slammed into the dragon immortals' magical abilities.

*Boom*

The magical abilities collapsed, and the chains tore through the dragon immortals' chests and hung them within the air. But as blood dripped from their chests, Cat Hou Hui inwardly roared.

"Truth and Life Combine! Bloodline Imitation: Auspicious Clouds!"

And to the surprise of all the immortals gathered, rainbow colored clouds appeared by Cat Hou Hui's side and swirled around him while his body glittered in silver light.

Instantly, the aftereffects of the dragon immortals' Auspicious Clouds on the bird immortals was nullified.

"Impossible!"

"Quick, counter it!"

But trapped by the green and white chains, they couldn't make use of their innate skills, and all attempts resulted in more blood spurting.

"Humph!"

Long Bai Xin snorted, and overbearing silver flames burst from her form to obliterate the chains binding her.

"Lightsaber, Eye of Truth, Yang Star!"

A silver lightsaber, a white eye of truth, and a miniature silver star flew from Long Bai Xin's chest. Her three Dao Armaments appeared by her side, and their state of near flawlessness clearly indicated that she wasn't far from the peak of Dao Threading.

"Hahaha! Does a trivial cat dare imitate true dragons? Light Saber, Darkness Vortex!"

Long Xie burst into erratic laughter and summoned his own Dao Armaments. Unlike Long Bai Xin's, however, they remained in an almost ethereal state.

Laws could be cultivated from Dao Revelation to Dao Threading. But only when Dao threading had been achieved could Dao Armaments be condensed.

The siblings then turned into beams of silver light and using their Auspicious Clouds to contend with Cat Hou Hui's they launched themselves in a ferocious assault.

"Extreme Light Form!"

"Yang Cremation!"

"Swallowing Darkness!"

Moving at the speed of light, they respectively released a scalding sea of silver flames and dark purple waves that broke the chains suppressing the dragon immortals while threatening to consume Cat Hou Hui.

"If I don't need to be wary of your innate skill, whose afraid of who?!"

The pale Feng Wu Chen bellowed, and large blue-red wings sprang from his back.

"Innate Skill: Nirvana Fire!"

Red flames erupted from Feng Wu Chen and spread across his entire body. And in an instant, the wound inflicted by Long Xie was not only mended, but he also seemed more powerful.

Without another word, he flew toward Long Xie!

Feng Wu Shuang didn't fall behind, released her blue-red phoenix wings and shot toward them.

"Cremation!"

From her wings, blue-red fire rose and dived toward the released dragon immortals.

The bird immortals who didn't have a chance to show off until now seized the opportunity and in unison attacked the dragon immortals.

"Kill!"

There was absolutely no restraint. Killing intent bloated the sky as the two sides entered a deadly confrontation and magical abilities flew back and forth.

Seeing the situation turning to their disadvantage, Long Bai Xin glowered at Cat Hou Hui whose massive paw was shooting toward her.

"Hateful, where did Feng Wu Shuang get her hands on such a powerful law beast?"

Law Beasts had not been mentioned in the rules because they were challenging to tame and usually resided within the starry sky. It was rare for them to appear within a world, and when they did, only the gods or most powerful immortals were qualified to receive their favor.

Did the Phoenix God obtain a law beast and bestow it to Feng Wu Shuang to snatch a coffin?

Not only her, but even Feng Wu Chen astounded. Although the law fluctuations he initially felt from that law beast were not negligible, he had certainly not expected it to be this powerful.

Did his sister have enough good fortune to pick up such a creature in the streets? He didn't believe it.

*Bang*

Long Bai Xin's sea of silver flames collapsed and vaporized under Cat Hou Hui's claw which then moved unhindered toward her.

*ROAR*

Long Bai Xin's earsplitting roar echoed across a thousand miles, and she morphed into a hundred meters tall silver horned dragon to meet Cat Hou Hui's claw with her own!

*BANG*

Her dragon claws were fragmented, her internal organs damaged, and she flew backward with blood flowing from her broken claw and her now gigantic maw.

"Elder sister!"

"I am your opponent!"

Long Xie wanted to rush to his sister's aid but was blocked by Feng Wu Chen.

"Feng Wu Chen, I suddenly don't find you to be that cute anymore."

*ROAR*

Long Xie assumed the form of a hundred meters long horned silver dragon, opened his enormous maw and spit a beam of silver light at Feng Wu Chen.

"You're not the only one to have a true form!"

Blue-red fire spread from Feng Wu Chen's wings, and he turned into a hundred meters long blue-red phoenix.

His blue-red flames clashed with Long Xie's silver beam, forcing the both of them to retreat.

Long Xie then threw his massive claws at Feng Wu Chen who resisted with his enormous wings.

"Time to end this."

Cat Hou Hui thought while staring at the rising bloodshed.

He vanished, appeared behind Long Bai Xin, and sank his fangs into her neck.

"AAAAAARGH!"

Long Bai Xin's mournful howl thundered within the sky while blood gushed from her jugular.

Cat Hou Hui raised her with his jaw and tossed her into a nearby mountain.

*BOOM*

She slammed right into it, carving an in-depth draconic picture within, then slid down onto the ground.

Cat Hou Hui once again vanished and appeared above Long Xie who had just sent Feng Wu Chen reeling.

*BANG*

His paws crashed into Long Xie's skull and sent him tumbling into the ground below in an explosion of dust and flying debris.

"AAARGH"

Long Xie's draconic body shook, the last struggle before he fell into unconsciousness.

Subsequently, Cat Hou Hui turned into a green meteor and slammed into the remaining dragon immortals, sending them crashing into various locations with enough strength to knock any ounce of fighting power out of them.

Thus, in the span of a few breaths, the deadlock had been lifted, and the birds were the last standing. But the booming sounds created by the battle had already alarmed all the other groups.

Long Ming held a bloodied Kong Ren by the throat while dozens of bird immortals laid battered on the cold ground.

"Boastful ant!"

He scorned and tossed Kong Ren's unconscious form onto the ground. But then the roars and howls of Long Bai Xin spread in succession and alarmed him as well as the dragon immortals by his side.

"Isn't that elder cousin's voice? What the hell is going on?"

The Northern Dragon King was Yue Li's father thus making Long Xie and Long Bai Xin Long Ming's cousins.

"Let's go!"

He ordered and followed by the dragon immortals, rushed toward the location of the commotion.

Long Wei's spotless form hovered in the air while the six Great Dao Immortals of the lion and tiger clans sent to intercept him rested unconscious on the ground.

Long Bai Xin's voice then reached him, and his calm face contorted into a frown.

"Cousin?"

He then turned into a beam of golden light and shot toward the location.

Meanwhile, Peng Yuan and Jin Guang of the previous generation of the seven sons who were supposed to lead the bird alliance's main team were on their knees bleeding profusely with the dead bodies of the hundreds of bird immortals they brought surrounding them.

Their bleeding, resentful eyes were locked on a golden-haired man who hovered in the air while staring at them with the countenance of a butcher toward lamb on the chopping block.

That golden-haired man wasn't present in the dragon clan's initial team.

"Long Xing Chen! This is nothing more than a competition. A contest held to fairly split the coffins. Why do you need to be so cruel and slaughter the immortals of our bird clans?"

Peng Yuan roared as his voice trembled from indignation.

"Rebels deserve only death. Since you dared join the fray, you should have been ready for the consequences. This prince hates nothing more than the rebellious worms of your bird alliance."

"Die!"

Long Xing Chen stretched his hand toward his last remaining foes. But before he could deliver the final blow, Long Bai Xin's roars reached his ears and immediately, his golden eyes were set ablaze.

"Who?! Who dares harm my princess?!"

He paid no more heed to the surviving birds and flew toward the battle's location!

Meanwhile, Cat Hou Hui was leading the bird immortals into the cave to snatch the coffin!
