41 Chapter 41: Devil and Angel
"Hey... Tell me, what did I do wrong?" Tears glistened at the rim of her eyes, "Why did something like this happen to m-me? WHY!?"
She yelled furiously while looking hatefully at Tatsuya with moistened eyes. For a second Tatsuya paused and his nonchalant face changed to a serious expression.
"Kushida," he spoke gently, "You did nothing wrong."
Kushida looked confused as tears streamed down her face.
"No innocent deserves to be raped, no innocent deserves to be tortured and no innocent deserves to be killed."
"Then—"
"But Kushida," Tatsuya got up from his seat and walked towards her bed, scaring her. Kushida inched back subconsciously but as if deja vu had occurred, her back hit the backrest of the bed.
"W-Wait! S-Stay back!" She growled in anger but her feeble little body was shaking with every step he took.
Tatsuya walked to the edge of her bed and looked down at her. His wide frame caused a shadow to cast over her and Kushida felt her heart race.
Tatsuya leaned in towards her and with both hands gently cupped her cheeks as if holding his dear lover.
But the sheer indifference in his eyes told a different story.
"All those arguments belong to the weak." The warmth from his hands spread to her cheeks, "Yes you did nothing wrong. You didn't deserve what happened to you but that doesn't matter if I wished for it to happen. Kushida, you were simply unlucky to catch my eye."
Kushida's eyes widened in disbelief as she tried her best to not tremble under his touch, the strong-willed Kushida would not accept defeat like this.
"Y-You're telling me everything I had to suffer was because of dumb luck? Don't you dare spout nonsense!" She stubbornly met his eyes, hiding her fear.
"It's the truth. Why would I bother with you if you weren't beautiful?" Tatsuya chuckled, "Wouldn't want to fuck you if you were a fat whale, would I?"
"Shut the fuck up! Just leave me alone already!" She couldn't stand his nonsense anymore. She might just die of disgust.
"That's where you're wrong, I won't leave you alone."
"Don't cross the line!" Kushida tried to free herself and yelled, "Don't you dare think I won't file charges against you if you don't leave at once!"
"File charges? What would that accomplish?" A mocking look flashed across his eyes, "To report me, you'll have to leave this room first."
Kushida flinched as the grim reality of the situation settled in, her phone was on the kitchen table and Tatsuya wouldn't just let her use it.
But Tatsuya wasn't going to let her off easy, "And don't even think of screaming. I'll knock you unconscious before you can even scream."
The grip on her cheeks subtly grew stronger sending a shiver down her spine.
Kushida whimpered under his hold as Tatsuya leaned in further and whispered, "How about I offer you a deal~"
The devil had decided to seduce the angel with sweet lullabies.
"You hate others having power over you isn't that right?" Kushida didn't answer him, "You want to expel Suzune, right?"
Another bout of silence but the look in her eyes gave him his answer.
The intensity with which he was looking at her caused Kushida to freeze in place. It was as if time had stopped between them.
"I will expel Horikita Suzune~"
"... W-What...?" She couldn't believe her ears as she looked up, not avoiding his eyes.
With one hand still on her cheek his other hand slipped upward and gently stroked her hair, "I will expel Horikita Suzune."
He repeated his words and Kushida felt her heart thump. "You're lying."
"I'm not."
"But you clearly have some relationship with her, many classmates even think both of you are past lovers with how you bicker in between classes."
"Hahaha," Tatsuya couldn't resist laughing, "There's no such thing. I simply happened to see her meet with her brother and discover her weak vulnerable side. Isn't it amusing how someone like that is acting as if she's the best in the world, above others?"
His words struck a chord in her heart. She thought so too. She disliked Horikita due to similar reasons.
The distance between the devil and the angel decreased.
"But how does that help you?" Kushida scoffed, "I don't believe you'll do something like expelling her just because."
Tatsuya didn't answer and she instantly understood before hissing venomously, "You're after my body! Go to hell!"
"Hah, is it really that bad?"
"Go to hell pervert! You're out of your mind!"
She resisted but how could he accept that?
"It's already happened once hasn't it~?" The devil whispered once again, "Worst case scenario I'll just force you again. Trust me I don't care if you file charges I have several ways to avoid it."
"You-!"
"Why not agree? Was it because I was too rough? But you know why, right? You almost bit it off..." Memories returned and Kushida's face scrunched up in disgust.
"Obey me and I'll expel her, Kushida. Isn't it easy? It's happened once what's more a few times?" He just needed to push the idea in her head, "You'll have my support, I'll help you solidify your status as much as I can. I'll help you become the most lovable person in not only the first grade but second grade as well. Isn't that your wish?"
"You're not making sense-"
"You hate Ike, Yamauchi and the other perverts right?"
"H-Huh?" Kushida was confused by the sudden mention of two classmates, "You're the most disgusting perver-"
"I'll expel them during the Mid-terms."
Kushida paused upon hearing that.
"The main reason you're resisting is because you don't know whether I can expel Horikita or not, right?"
Tatsuya pulled out his phone and showed her something.
Kushida initially confused looked at his screen before suddenly her eyes widened to terrifying degrees.
"H-How...?" She was flabbergasted, "It's only been a few months..."
"Do you trust me now?"
"Wait- No, I-"
"We'll sign a contract, a memorandum, Kushida." He silenced her once again, "If I can't expel at least three students after the Mid-terms finish then I'll drop out of this school. I'll even try to drag Horikita down with me. In a single stroke, both your greatest enemies will leave the school and you'll be a free bird again."
The devil had fallen from heaven but the angel was slowly being dragged alongside him.
"You... You're serious?" Kushida whispered. Her heart was jumping in joy, if she played her cards right she could have this pervert and Horikita both gone.
Tatsuya pulled out a piece of paper and Kushida couldn't believe her eyes, "W-Why do you have this prepared already?"
"Hmph, what do you think I was doing while you were unconscious?" He handed her the paper before stepping back letting her relax.

Contractual Agreement Between Yamamoto Tatsuya (referred to as "X") and Kushida Kikyo (referred to as "Y").
Date of Agreement: June 4, 2015
Clause 1: Student Expulsion
1.1 X is hereby obligated to initiate the expulsion of three specified students from Class 1-D, either during the Mid-term examination scheduled for June 11, 2015, or promptly after its conclusion.
1.2 Failure by X to adhere to the conditions stipulated in 1.1 will result in immediate withdrawal from the educational institution.
Clause 2: Non-Involvement of Y
2.1 Y shall refrain from engaging with the targeted students, namely Ike Kanji, Yamauchi Haruki, and Sudo Ken, until the completion of the Mid-term examinations.
Clause 3: Confidentiality
3.1 Both parties, X and Y, mutually agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding the details and existence of this agreement.
3.2 Any breach of the confidentiality stipulated in
3.1, including the disclosure of this agreement to third parties, will result in expulsion for the violating party.
Clause 4: Authorization for Expulsion
4.1 X is granted the authority to utilize any means deemed necessary to ensure the expulsion of the specified students.
4.2 It is explicitly stated that while pursuing the expulsion, X must refrain from causing any harm to Y and must not disclose Y's involvement in any manner post the conclusion of the Mid-term examinations.
This agreement is entered into willingly and knowingly by both parties on the date mentioned above.
