Megumin wakes up and looks around her and she sees Kazuma sitting down next to her.

"Kazuma…? Where are we…?"

Kazuma turns around and sees that Megumin is awake.

"Ah Megumin, you're finally awake. I was a bit worried there. You said you wanted to cast your explosion spell, and I agreed, we walked for a few minutes and you accidentally hit yourself unconscious by a- …actually I don't really remember, it happened 8 minutes ago.." Kazuma said, truthfully.

"The thing is, I kinda got a bit worried and brought you somewhere where the sun doesn't shine. Which is under this tree."

"Oh, I see…"

"You haven't touched me, have you?" She sounds like she's going to kill him.

Kazuma sighs.

"No, I'm not a mega pervert, Megumin. I don't live off ogling girls."

Kazuma puts his hand up.

"I haven't done anything but make sure that you're alright. As your party leader, I would just be an evil person if I left you on the ground earlier."

"Are you sure you didn't touch me.?" Megumin asks again. Aqua and Darkness really gave her trust issues. Which is a problem. Kazuma can't go overboard now thanks to those two idiots, otherwise things might go south, and he won't be able to reverse it.

He thought having Megumin think it was all a dream in the beginning would wipe that memory off her head. But that whole dream thing didn't last long. There were some parts where he did kinda act suspicious. Like way too much, but it's Darkness's and Aqua's fault. Not his. Nope.

The only thing he might as well do now is to gain her trust back, and steer her away from the blue nutjob and the horny crusader.

Those two are way too attached to Kazuma that they think saying things out loud is just normal. Especially to Megumin…

"I-I swear! If I did, I would be stroking my dick in front of you, Megumin! Jeez, you're so paranoid." Kazuma's acting is way too girly. Megumin doesn't budge as she looks to the side.

"O-oh… Alright, sorry for assuming right away. I know you're not a huge pervert, Aqua and Darkness are just… weird."

"I know right??" Kazuma replied.

Kazuma crosses his arms as he looks to the sky, looking guilty.

"I did kind of take her panties away and maybe… played with them for a little while before putting them back, I hope Megumin doesn't notice…" He thought to himself as he mentally sighs.

Kazuma:

"The sky sure does look nice."

Megumin:

"Mhm, It does. … Kazuma, I wanna say something."

Kazuma turns to Megumin.

"What is it?"

Megumin sits up and looks at Kazuma.

"How about we start your lesson on explosion magic? I'm kinda excited to teach you since you asked."

"Sounds good, let's start!"

After the satisfying outcome of Megumin's explosion, she falls to her knees as she lays down on the ground, now unable to move.

Even though she is unable to move, she finally sets off an explosion once again.

Her only wish is to see her magic explosion daily, and that is starting now.

"And that's how you use it. Should be a piece of cake!"

Kazuma decides to check his adventurer card later and walks to Megumin and kneels down.

Kazuma uses his long weapon stick to poke Megumin's back.

"Megumin. You okay?"

He asks as this is the third time he has seen Megumin collapse face first. He should start catching her from now on.

"Kazuma, I'm alright. So don't poke me…"

"I'm just checking if you're still alive. Aren't you young? How are you still breathing after you just worn out your energy?"

"D-don't underestimate me… I may fall, but I will get up once more!"

"Well okay then." Kazuma looks around.

"So, I guess we know what happens next?" Kazuma asks.

Megumin stops talking for a second.

There's many possible things that Kazuma can do, and all of them are very worrying.

Kazuma sighs as he starts to pick up Megumin and carries her on his back.

"You really are hopeless, but don't worry, you have my back, literally."

Kazuma picks up Megumin's staff and makes sure Megumin doesn't slip as he starts to walk where they came from.

"Kazuma?"

"Who else is Kazuma?"

"Kazuma. I wanna ask you something…"

Kazuma raises an eyebrow as he keeps his eyes on the path he's walking.

"Eh sure, what is it, Megumin?"

"Kazuma. Is it true that you're putting evil spells on Aqua and Darkness? Darkness told me back in the fields. She said that she's starting to be controlled by you and stuff. I know that she's crazy, but I just wanna ask anyways, Is that true? Kazuma?"

Kazuma looks around as he bit his lip for a second.

"Well, uhm. No, that's ridiculous. The only spells I learned so far are thieving spells. I haven't learned any mind control spells or anything like that yet. She's a masochist so you would probably expect something… strange… from her. So like, don't take her words too seriously."

Megumin: So, have you chosen the path of explosions and put all of your points into explosions yet??

Kazuma: I'm not doing that, Megumin. You're lucky I even asked to learn it with you. No one would want mass destruction upon their finger tips- unless, y'know.
