Chapter 41: End of the School year

The last few days of the school year passed in the blink of an eye as the summer days got warmer and warmer. Hermione, Daphne, Tracey, and the other Ravenclaw first years watched Harry carefully so he wouldn't get in trouble or seriously hurt again. Him being in basically a coma for almost a week shook them deeply.

Harry was really flattered by their worries, but at the same time, it annoyed him a bit. He had no real opportunity to be alone and check the inside of his Sacred Gear. Through his connection with Innovate Clear, he could clearly feel that the energy of the Philosopher's Stone was still there. All his things, animals, magical creatures, and plants were fine and unaffected. There was just a mass of energy floating around.

Since everyone was watching him, he couldn't actually enter and see what he could do with it or what it truly was. He was sure that if he studied the remains of the energy closer, he could get a deeper understanding of what the Philosopher's Stone actually was. During his fight with Quirrell, he hadn't had the presence of mind to create a copy in his Sacred Gear, although he was sure that it wouldn't have worked since the stone seemed to have been a mass of energy, something he couldn't create.

Well, it would have probably been expensive and beyond his capacity, as he didn't have such massive amounts of energy like the Stone released to concentrate into another Stone. It was Satan level amounts, if not beyond. He wasn't really sure since he had never felt this amount before, but he felt Ultimate Level reserves that his teacher had and Lord Gremory.

Anyway, he couldn't enter Innovate Clear since everyone was keeping an eye on him, even the boys. They would even check whether he was really in his bed sleeping. He was sure the girls put them up to it.

Another uncomfortable and slightly painful encounter Harry had was with Hagrid. The lovable half-giant was blaming himself for this whole event, especially that Harry got hurt. In his eyes, it was his fault since he told Quirrell how to bypass Fluffy. Harry had to invest quite a bit of time to calm Hagrid down, who in the end enveloped him in a strong hug. Harry was sure that if he wasn't strengthened by his Devil physiology, he would have spent a night in the Hospital Wing again. But one nice thing that he got out of it was another album of photos of his parents, this time even more personal ones, as Hagrid contacted old friends of his parents to collect them.

In such a manner, the last days of the school year passed by, and the End-of-the-Year Feast approached, getting all the students excited to visit their homes again and enjoy the free time of the summer holidays. Harry was also excited to return to the Underworld; he had quite a few plans for the summer. He was also sure that if he were still living with the Dursleys, he would have begged Dumbledore to spend the summer at Hogwarts.

The Great Hall was adorned with Ravenclaw colors of blue and bronze, a vibrant display celebrating Ravenclaw's dominance in the House Cup race. A grand banner depicting the majestic Ravenclaw eagle adorned the wall behind the High Table.

As Harry entered the Great Hall, a sudden hush fell upon the room, followed by a cacophony of whispered conversations as everyone had heard some kind of rumors about what supposedly happened. Taking his seat between Daphne and Hermione at the Ravenclaw table, he tried to ignore the curious gazes fixed upon him.

Fortunately, Dumbledore arrived, and the noise subsided instantly. The Headmaster's cheerful voice resonated throughout the hall. "Another year has come to a close! But before we indulge in our delicious feast, allow me to share a few words. What a remarkable year it has been! I hope your minds are fuller than ever... and have the whole summer to empty them before the next year begins..."

"Now, as it is time to award the House Cup, let us review the current standings: In fourth place, Gryffindor, with three hundred and twelve points; in third, Hufflepuff, with three hundred and fifty-two; Ravenclaw has surged ahead with four hundred and twenty-six, and Slytherin follows closely with four hundred and twenty-five."

It was no wonder that Ravenclaw was in first place, even with all the favoritism from Snape. Ravenclaw always earned a ton of points with their good school work, but with first years like Hermione, Daphne, and Harry, who even though he himself didn't really care about House Points, he still earned a ton of them with his excellent school work. The other first years couldn't simply compare. So with the strong natural work ethic in school from Ravenclaws and domination in the first year, Ravenclaw reached the first spot, even though just closely as Snape still tried to manipulate things.

There were grumbles and whispers from Slytherin as they felt they should have won, that the unfair manipulation of the system from Snape was the only reason they came so close didn't come into their minds. This was really a good representation of the traditional Pureblood mentality that established itself in the Wizarding World.

"Cough," Dumbledore cleared his throat. "I have a few last-minute points to allocate. For Mr. Harry Potter, for wearing such a nice tie today, I award 150 points to House Ravenclaw." announced Dumbledore before he began to clap as the hall followed in confusion whether he was serious, and Harry had to blush in embarrassment as People were looking at his tie trying to find out what was so special about it.

"Just joking with all of you. It's, of course, for his brilliant tactical skill in the Game of Chess, the sharp mind and calm logic in the face of danger, and the outstanding courage to stand up to danger to do the right thing. And now this should solve any confusion about who is truly the winner of the House Cup this year." And the Great Hall broke out in jubilation as they celebrated the finally broken streak of the last six years of Slytherin winning the House Cup. Although they still won the Quidditch Cup, as nobody could outplay their stretching of the rules on the field with pure skill.

With this, the year concluded, and every first year passed the school year. At the top of the class was Harry, closely followed by Hermione who only lost to him in the practical exams as he could get their bonus points for skills beyond his age, and she even outdid him in the History of Magic Exam. In third place came Daphne who did an excellent job of keeping up with Hermione and Harry in all her grades, and only missed slightly a few points here and there.

They enjoyed a nice travel with the Hogwarts Express back to London. On their way back, Harry gave them the address to a postbox in the headquarters of the new Gremory Business in Diagon Alley. They would send all his post back to the Underworld to him since owls couldn't reach him there, and he still wanted to keep contact with his friends.

After greeting his friends' parents who were picking them up, Harry left through the Floo Network back to the new hotel of the Gremory Family in Diagon Alley. From there, he took a Teleportation Circle home as he got special permission.

AN: Small Explanation about how Innovate Clear works with Harry's Demonic Power Reserves. They are connected but at the same time not, the energy inside his Sacred Gear isn't directly a part of his Demonic Power, but he can Channel it to empower Spells or even himself and more in the future. So having absorbed the Energy in the Philosopher Stone didn't bring his Reserves to Satan Level or higher, it's just energy inside the Universe of Innovate Clear. More about it soon in future Chapters.

But all living things like plants, Animals, Magical Creatures or even Humans produce energy naturally. The excess of this energy that doesn't get absorbed by the Natural Life Cycle in the Universe leaves it, effectively leaving the Sacred Gear entering Harry who absorbs it. That doesn't mean it gets added permanently, just that the container of his Demonic Power has a bit more energy temporarily inside and expands slightly to contain it as it is overflowing. And that is added to his natural growth through training and growing up.

At least that is the Theory behind how my Version of Innovate Clear works. Nothing of that is Canon, since we don't really know much about Innovate Clear yet. But I wasn't sure wether I did a good job explaining it in previous Chapters so I did it now again.
