2 Chapter 2: Return from the Death

Attracted by the massive release of magical power from the Dimensional Rift a beautiful young girl with white skin, blue eyes, and her most outstanding feature long and beautiful crimson-red hair arrived at the clearing. Her name is Rias Gremory the current ten year old Heiress of the House of Gremory one of the 72 Pillar Clans from the Underworld.

"What happened here? Why did I feel a massive amount of energy in this field just now?" she muttered as she arrived at the beautiful clearing. She was currently exploring the back area behind her family's home before she felt a massive disturbance close by. Being a curious child, she instantly headed for the place without care of possible dangers and consequences, since this territory was well guarded by her family.

Looking around the vast green field, she soon discovered a small bloodied shape laying on the ground. Causing her to rush to the small body. "Who would dare to do something like this? He isn't much older than me!" she cried out as she saw in what shape the small boy was.

"Oh No, he is dead. How could people be so cruel?" cried Rias as she inspected the wounded boy for any life signs. "He died not long ago." She realized as she still could feel the presence of his soul clinging to his mortal vessel.

After hesitating for a moment, thinking about her own situation, she quickly came to a decision and had a determined look on her beautiful face. "I won't accept that. Nobody deserves such a fate. Especially not a boy, not older than me. I can save him." Pulling a small, elegant carved wooden box out of her bag. She opened the finely carved box, revealing a collection of 14 white Chess pieces, with one missing from the box. The Queen Piece to be exact.

Thinking for a moment she pulled one of the white Knight Pieces out of the wooden box, before placing it on the black-haired boy`s chest. The Knight began to glow with a crimson aura but nothing more happened. "It's not enough? Does he have a Sacred Gear or some kind of special Power?" muttered Rias now a bit excited, that her random act of kindness could earn her a strong ally in the future.

She instantly pulled a Rook piece which held the worth of 5 pawn Pieces, 2 more than a Knight or Bishop Piece, and also placed it on his chest as the White Rook also began to glow in the crimson Aura, but still, nothing happened.

Next, she tried it with two Knight pieces, a total worth of 6 Pawns. As they glowed in Crimson Aura she felt it was close but still not enough. After that she tried it with seven Pawn pieces, she felt she was close but it still didn't work. At last, she pulled all her eight Pawn pieces almost of equal value to a Queen Piece, that she previously used on Akeno a few days prior. As she wanted to place them on the dark-haired boy's chest, she was overwhelmed by a strange feeling causing her to stop for a moment.

Right now she felt very confused, unlike her other Pieces this felt like a major decision as if it was affecting the Fate of the whole World. How could this be? She asked herself before shaking her head overcoming her hesitation and placing all eight of them on the boy's chest. They began to glow crimson red as they got absorbed by the boy, whose hearts began to beat once again.

Hearing him breathe once again made Rias sigh in relief, "It worked. I am so glad. But being worth eight pieces, he must possess a really powerful secret. His Demonic energy reserves are very high for a freshly reincarnated devil. Almost reaching mid-class level." She realized as she observed the now sleeping boy.

Soon after her older brother's Knight Souji Okita arrived at the Scene, he was looking for her since she was missing for a while now, and Akeno grew worried that she didn't return yet after her Lessons ended. "There you are Lady Rias! What happened here? Who is your young friend?"

After a short explanation, he helped her by carrying the young boy back to the Gremory Mansion, where one of the servants with medical expertise took care of the wounds on his body. Before letting him rest and stabilize his new demonic energy reserves.

"Mmmmmh, what happened?" muttered Harry Potter still disoriented as he slowly opened his eyes, discovering an unfamiliar roof in a very spacious room. "Where am I? What's going on?" questioned the young boy, before he remembered the pain that he experienced before the world turned dark for him. "Did I die?"

Feeling a warm body at his side he spotted a girl with the most beautiful crimson hair he could imagine, similar age to him hugging him closely, as both of them lay on the softest and biggest bed he ever saw in his life. Admittedly he didn't see many, only the ones of the Dursleys when he was cleaning their rooms, but he was pretty sure this bed was unreasonably big since it could easily fit 10 people comfortably.

Harry was observing the strange situation he found himself in, being hugged felt very nice he had to admit, is this what the other children felt when their parents hugged them? He questioned the warm feeling inside him.

"...Suu~suu." After a few moments, the girl began to move and opened her eyes as Harry stared into two very beautiful blue orbs, completely mesmerized by them. As the young girl was similar staring back into his emerald green eyes.

'That's not the time for that!' he realized that he was very impolite, "Eh, Hello I am Harry! Nice to meet you." He greeted the girl shyly. "Ehm, How did I get here? And why are we in the same bed?" he asked her with a deep blush as he realized the both of them were completely naked.

With a beautiful smile, she smiled at me, "Good Morning, Harry. It's nice to meet you. I am Rias Gremory." She introduced herself, "Are your wounds okay?" asked the girl now with a bit of worry in her eyes.

"Wounds?" he muttered confused before he remembered how his whole body began to explode and tear open as the black mist tore out of him under massive pain. "I seem to feel fine, just a bit sore but no pain." He replied. "Did you treat me?"

"One of my family's servants did treat your wounds. You gave me quite the shock when I found you bloodied and broken in the field."

"So it wasn't my imagination…" he muttered, "I am honestly baffled that I am still alive. I should be dead."

"You were dead!" she answered now with a sad glow in her eyes.

"What!? Please don't make jokes like these I am clearly still alive." He muttered a bit startled.

"It's no joke. You died. I brought you back." She explained calmly while still holding onto Harry.

"You brought me back!?" he questioned shocked, before stopping for a moment and realizing something. Was she like him? Could she also use Magic? "Did you use magic?" he asked hesitantly.

"You know about magic?" asked Rias with a raised brow, "Do you belong to one of the Magician orders?"

"Magician Orders? There is something like that? No, I am just Harry. I just always had this ability to make things happen with my Magic." He explained as he carefully watched her expression.

"Wait, a moment. You can just make things happen, without any Calculations or similar?" she questioned now confused, don't need Human Magicians need careful Calculations for any kind of spell?

"I don't need any Calculations. I just need to feel and will something and it happens. But I mostly can only move things. I never practiced it very much. My Relatives never liked anything related to magic so I kept it suppressed." Explained Harry, now a bit more confident since the girl was obviously aware of Magic, and didn't act like it was something abnormal or freakish.

"That shouldn't be possible. Only races like Devils and Angels can perform imagination-based magic, at least as far I am aware." She cried out completely confused.

"Devils and Angels are real?" asked Harry now innocently staring at her with an open mouth.

"Ehm, yes!" she replied flustered that she was so fast without explaining anything. "I am a Devil! And you are now too. That's how I brought you back to life. Reincarnating you into a Devil."

"Eh!? I am a Devil now?"

"Yes, and I am your Master now. Sorry, that was the only way to save your life." She added a bit unsure since this was only the second person she brought back as a Devil.

"You are my Master. Will you hurt me? Or make me do bad things?" Asked Harry with worry and sadness in his beautiful emerald orbs remembering the treatment of the Dursleys.

"No, no, no. Nothing like that." Cried Rias out, "Being a Devil, doesn't mean evil. And you are not a slave! It's more like employment."

Breathing out with relief but still suspicious of the whole situation, Harry decided he didn't know enough and first needed to see where this was going, before he decides on a course of action for the future, he didn't have a place to go to anyway, "I see, that sounds better. So what now?"

"We should get dressed first. My family wants to meet you and there are many things we have to discuss." She replied as she stood up from the bed.
