10 CHAPTER 10 [XL]

[A/N: Sigh... things got wild here, about his spike of energy here, don't worry, it is a one-time thing, it won't happen again for a very long time, as for his level of power during this fight, yup, god cloth level due to the said spike of energy, and once again, it won't happen again, after this he will have to deal with future problems without this broken plot armor.]

"Tetsuya! Run! I'll hold them so you can escape!" Koneko punched Elezatael in the guts, sending him flying towards a tree, the impact was so powerful that it snapped it in half, making the tree fall on top of him.

"Waaagh!" Elezatael shouted as blood gushed out of his injuries and he lost his consciousness, if only he was stronger... but he was way weaker than Raynare, he wasn't strong enough to even fight against someone like Koneko.

Tetsuya was about to attack once more but the ground beneath him exploded in a blinding purple-red light that launched him flying.

"Ugh!" He groaned as he fell on the ground 5 meters away from Raynare.

The fallen angel he once stepped on stood up slowly, her eyes were as cold as they could be as she sent him a glance that spelled 'death'. "You little shit, how DARE YOU STEP ON ME!" she summoned another spear of light and in an instant appeared right in front of Tetsuya.

Her movements were so fast he could barely avoid her attack, in the end, his chest was pierced on the left side as he counterattacked with a punch of his own right on her jaw, but...

Her face barely moved, the smile on her face became like that of a monster, one that even reminds Tetsuya of vampires. "Hehehe! I have to admit, you're probably the strongest human I've ever seen, to have achieved so much using common means, my superiors were right about you, you are a threat even bigger than that white dragon, but that ends here!"

At that moment, the spear on his chest disappeared and two spears appeared on her hand. Some meters away from then Rias Gremory was running as fast as she could, unfortunately, it wasn't enough, she arrived right at the moment that the fallen angel threw the two spears that exploded on Tetsuya launching him with such strength towards the fountain that it broke in half with the impact.

Panting, Tetsuya touched his chest and looked at his hand, red crimson blood had painted his hand entirely, his injuries were too much, he could barely keep himself awake as the blood leaked from every injury on his body, in fact, Raynare couldn't believe he was alive after sustaining that level of damage on his body.

"Tsk, at this point, I should be calling you a cockroach instead of a human, who could have known that you were so tough, well, it doesn't matter, it seems you're about to die-"

"YOU BITCH!" Rias shouted as a magic circle appeared on her hand and a black bolt of lightning wrapped in a red aura exploded towards Raynare.

However, before it could even hit another fallen angel appeared out of nowhere and conjured a magic circle that fully absorbed her attack, this one, however, had four pairs of wings.

Seeing this Rias Gremory opened her eyes wide, and prepared once more to attack. "Such a powerful fallen angel, what are you doing in my territory?"

"Miss Gremory, I beg your pardon, but we were ordered to eliminate this boy at any costs. We truly do not wish to cause problems with your prestigious clan." The man whose face was covered by hood said with a calm voice. "I suggest you do not interfere with our work, I'm way above any ultimate-class devil, and your power of destruction won't be of any help here."

"Who ordered this? I'm pretty sure my brother won't be happy with this."

"That I can not tell you, unfortunately-" Before he could finish his words, the surroundings suddenly grew brighter. "What?!"

Koneko, who was trying to take Tetsuya out of the battlefield while the fallen angels were occupied focusing their attention at Rias, suddenly let go of him as her hands seemed to have been burned by a temperature above anything she had ever touched in her life.

Focusing their attention on the boy, they all exclaimed when they saw the blinding white aura-like light that wrapped around him. At this point, they could all tell that his heart had stopped beating, but this energy of unknown origin was getting bigger and bigger.

Tetsuya who had lost his consciousness found himself in a dark sea, above him, 88 constellations were shining.

"Did I die?" He asked as he felt the cold liquid surrounding him.

"No." A gentle woman's voice reached his ears.

"Then... what happened to me..." He couldn't understand, all he could remember was the overbearing pain and his fatal injuries.

"Tao Tetsuya, when you reincarnated, didn't you wish to explore this world? Didn't you wished to be together with her?"

"I... yes... I wanted that - No, I still want this." Tears fell from his eyes, his expression calm like the surface of a lake untouched by time or human hands.

"Then, stand up. Don't let this be your end, that power now belongs to you, my brave knight, your mission hasn't ended, and the holy war has yet to come..." A girl wearing nothing, with long purple hair and purple eyes appeared above him, she was surrounded by a golden aura that shined like the sun, she extended her hands towards him.

"Take my hand, my knight! Your path is only starting!"

Tetsuya couldn't believe what he was seeing, he felt like he had seen this girl before, but at the moment, the only thing on his mind was an indomitable will to fight, to not surrender, to keep going and push forward, to burn himself and explode with the power to defeat his enemies!

"Yes, feel it, feel the cosmos inside you, burn it, explode it, let it course through your veins, let it bring forth who you truly are! Let the past be unsealed and show who you once were before those devils and angels even came to exist!" Her words got louder as she approached him, and kissed his lips.

However, that kiss wasn't one of love, it was a blood kiss, quite literally. Feeling that hot blood seeping into his mouth, burning his body he cried in pain, as a set of more than ten stars above then started shining more than anything.

Meanwhile, outside of his mind, Rias and the others watched in surprise as the barrier raised by the fallen angels shattered like glass and disappeared, the sky that was once blue and clear became dark, and through the whole world and even in the other worlds, everyone could see the blinding light of 88 constellations falling through the sky as if they were shooting stars!

"What is this feeling!?" Every god and those who achieved a level of power comparable to theirs or above, be it the ones at Mount Olympus, Mount Meru, Asgard, Heaven, and the Underworld. Felt shivers going down their spines as they turned to look upwards.

"AAAAGHH!" Tetsuya shouted as a group of falling stairs suddenly hit the ground in front of him.

"Ugh!" Everyone had to close their eyes in order to protect them from the light coming from the object when the light disappeared, they were surprised by the sight of a square meter tall silver metallic box with many words carved on it in ancient greek.

"What the hell is going on." The ground beneath Tetsuya starting breaking as the shards of cement started floating upwards when he stood up, everyone was surprised when they looked at his eyes, they were shining with white light, and it felt like he was a mindless beast as if he was acting out of pure instinct.

"Tetsuya!?" Rias shouted, trying to wake him up, but he couldn't hear anything, his mind was currently a mess, as the scenes of countless wars played on his mind.

Seeing this everyone's attention once more gathered on the box, and they managed to recognize the words written on it. "Inside this box, hope and despair gathered as one, if someone unfit opens it, prepared you must be, as only chaos, destruction and hopelessness await you!"

Bellow this phrase there were two words. "Pandora's box."

Before they could even make sense of this, Tetsuya pulled the chain on the other side of the box, making a pillar of light cross the sky, its light was so bright, the everyone in japan could witness this event.

There, a metallic statue composed of many pieces of armor was enveloped by a white light identical to the energy that wrapped around Tetsuya.

Surprised as they already were, when their senses reached the pieces of armor that were once stored inside the box, they couldn't help but open their eyes wide, it was alive, they could feel the vital force inside it.

"This, what the hell is this!? Could this be sacred gear that remained unknown until now!?" The fallen angel with four pairs of wings exclaimed, he couldn't believe what he was seeing.

The cloth suddenly separated itself into many pieces and started flying towards him, once the light hit a part of his body, it would transform into a piece of armor.

Soon he was covered in a silver-blue shining armor from head to toe, but things didn't stop there, the armor started changing as a pair of large metallic wings appeared behind him and its shape became more elaborate as it covered more parts of his body and the color of the armor changed to pure gold.

Feeling that divine energy that seemed to be of unknown origin, everyone frowned and stepped away. But for Tetsuya's enemies, it was too late, in a fraction of a second, with a speed that no one there could follow with their eyes, the two fallen angels that were still capable of fighting, and the one that had lost his consciousness suddenly exploded in white light, every single atom of their bodies was extinguished, erased from existence without leaving anything that could prove that they once were there.

Rias and Koneko open their eyes-wide and couldn't believe what just happened, how did Tetsuya become so strong? What's this divine power coming from him? Before they could even ask him any question, all that energy suddenly vanished alongside his armor that returned to the box on its own.

Tetsuya fell unconscious on the ground, the injuries he sustained before were still there.

Feeling his vitality disappearing with each second, Rias didn't hesitate any more and took out an evil piece, for him, she chose to use a knight piece. When she placed the piece on his chest a magic circle appeared beneath him and the ritual started.

However, in the middle of the ritual golden bolts of lightning coursed through Tetsuya's body, it was once again the energy of divine origin, but different from the one that leaked from him. This one somehow struck the evil piece changing its color to a golden one before the ritual could finish, but at that point, Rias lost control of the magic circle that also changed from a red color to a golden one, she could only watch as the ritual proceeded on its own without her doing anything.

When it ended, Rias could feel the connection between her and Tetsuya, but something was different from what she expected, she couldn't feel even a drop of demonic energy, instead, she was feeling something else, the same energy that composed his aura when he fought using pure instincts.

"President, what was that!?" Koneko asked, still shocked by the events that transpired in front of her very eyes.

"I... I don't know..." Rias sighed, she would have to ask for help, in order to understand this matter, she could only think of seeking advice from her brother and Ajuka, they might be able to understand what happened.

What she did knew though, was that all that energy that seemed to be as powerful as the sun, became extremely weak, it felt like he burned all his power and went back almost to the same level that he was before, the only difference was that he was indeed stronger than before those events, but by how much, she couldn't tell.
