1 The Death Of A Princess

Selena Jackson was the current Princess of the Jackson Kingdom. The Jackson Kingdom has been around for 5000 years and has been the mighty ruler of the entire continent. Selena was a daughter of the King and a random maid .The king had over 3 wives and multiple maids. Selena was the only Daughter of the King but she was treated unfairly because of her mother's status as just a maid. As Selena grew up, she started having a passion for books and all sorts of reading. At the age of 16, Selena successfully read through the entire Royal Library. Selena was very beautiful as her looks were unmatched throughout the entire continent. As the years had passed, Selena received many marriage requests from princes and other important figures but she declined them all.

At the age of 21, Selena received and invitation from the prince of another continent. The Kingdom the Prince was from was the only Kingdom stronger than the Jackson Kingdom. Selena hated this prince because he had a gross personality and a gross look. Nobody liked this Prince but because of his status, he had over 9 wives. When Selena received the marriage invitation she tried to decline it but was stopped by her father. The King took the letter away and agreed to the marriage without and consent from his daughter. The King only cared about the kingdom so he sold off his only daughter for a few gold mines.

After hearing what her father did, Selena tried running away multiple times but was stopped by the guards each time. Selena started planning and asked her father to push the marriage back three years. The King saw no problem in this request so he agreed. Over these three years, Selena dedicated herself to mastering multiple types of fighting techniques and she successfully mastered every weapon in the Royal Armory.

After training for 3 years, Selena was 24 now and was being escorted to the other kingdom where she was supposed to get married. This was the only day she could escape and that is exactly what she did. Selena jumped off her horse while grabbing her sword. Selena quickly started fighting the guards. The guards never expected Selena to fight back let alone injure them. As the guards were unprepared and not strong enough, Selena made quick work of them and ran away into a nearby forest.

After running for 2 hours without stopping, Selena finally stopped at a nearby tree and sat down. "I have about 6 hours until they can track me so I can rest up a little bit before I continue moving on." After thinking to herself, Selena planned on taking a quick nap before she kept running. As Selena was half asleep, she felt her leg be grabbed by a slimy looking creature and made her quickly get up. "What the hell is that?!"Selena had never been more scared in her life as she saw this creature. She instantly backed off more than 40 feet before she got a clear picture of thing abomination in front of her. It looked like a snake with red eyes and had chunks of skin ripped off which made the bones show underneath.

The snake skeleton stared directly into Selena's eyes."Hisss...Hisss" The snake hissed at Selena before it started sliding over. Selena knew that the snake would catch her if she ran so she started walking to the snake holding her favorite sword in hand.

When the snake got within 10 feet, Selena got into a fighting stance. The snake jumped onto Selena while trying to bite her. Barely dodging the snake, Selena swung her sword up at it before making contact. 'RIING' After hitting the snake, Selena felt her sword vibrating as if she just hit a metal bar. She looked at the point where she made contact and saw that there wasn't even a scratch. "Well, this isn't going to go well." Selena talked as she already gave up hope when she saw the snake jumping back at her. The snake's teeth landed on her arm and instantly struck down onto her. Selena, surprisingly didn't feel a thing when the snake bit her.

She started examining her arm after the snake fell off and saw two little marks which started bleeding. She looked back at the snake and saw it start screeching as its body started rotting. "What the heck is even going on at this point." Selena started murmuring at the site of the snake visually becoming a corpse right in front of her eyes. She then thought of something as she looked back at the snake bite. 'Oh no' she thought as she saw the bite corroding at a rapid pace just like the snake. After looking at her body which was now completely corroded, she finally felt her consciousness slipping away. 'Well I guess this is the end' was her final thought before dropping on the floor. However, nobody knew that when she died a ring was forced out of the snake as it wrapped around Selena's now dead body.
