3 First Journey

So I began my journey at 10 am approximately from the position of the sun. I didn't went to our local sun clock because it was in the center of our tribe and didn't want to waste more time.

The travel to the destination was 2 hours to get there and 2 hours to go back with a good pace. I added 2 hours for any unexpected problem and I need 2 more hours to shape the thing I'm looking for. If I don't encounter any trouble I have 2 or 3 hours free before dawn. If I have any trouble then I will be really tight on time and that means goodbye to the second place. Oh well not use to get antsy now.

While I was in a good mood travelling and experience my childhood forest all again. I kept attention to my surroundings. I felt that I don't have a good enough reflex yet in this body. So I compensated that with going easy but carefully enough to pay attention to my surroundings. I was now in the forest wolf territory.

Also I kept grabbing small and medium rocks and putting them in my pockets while simultaneously grabbing any lone or a couple of a common herb called Light Breeze that is used with another herb as a medium to make a mana potion. I harvest them with my bone knife that I always have strapped in my waist very gently to don't damage the roots. Yes, you can make a mana potion without the roots of the plant but is not as potent as the counterpart.

I kept searching for a type of herb that disguise my smell. The Yellow Moon because the top of the flower looks like a quarter of a moon but yellow. Those are more rare since hunters collect them a lot and some people even damage the roots so they are fewer every time I went searching. Finally found 2 of them.

But I found them surrounded by a patch of Light Breezes at least 20 of them. That's pretty. Rare. This a good finding for anybody. This times I collected only from the shafts up. Without touching the roots to keep them growing.

When I finished collecting them and filling my backpack to the brim. I remember that I should mark this spot for future harvest. I took all the things of my backup and said in a low voice. "Don't tell me that I forgot my MAP ?" and it happened again.

We meet again blue screen of death. But now I'm prepared !

I filled my lungs with air and shouted ! "EYES!" While closing them.

And stoud proudly able to discover such solution.

But then I opened my eyes and it was still there.

I dramatically fell on the ground and hitted the ground in a defeat motion.

While I was facing the ground I notice a blue dot going on and off and what it seems my currently topography. Oh...That's strange. Let check this blue screen then.

I tried to grab it with my hand and it actually worked ! Not more in front of my face much better. On the upper right corner of the map they where 3 simbols. A plus, a minus and a flag simbol.

I pressed the plus symbol because of course I want more maps. GIVE THEM ALL TO ME YOU BLUE THING!

And then the blue light grew and I couldn't see much of the topography but it's a lot more detailed.

So the plus simbol is like seeing really close so the other one is for seeing more but less detailed.

I wish I had this before. A lot of times I got lost in foreign woods searching for more food or something to sell to repair my equipment.

So what this flag does ? Oh it's a waypoint nice. We used to use them in our tribe to warn about the beast territories. Of course in our language.

I put the flag and think about a good name and decided to name it "LB #1". I don't know if this thing is invisible to other people so I don't intend to mark things too obviously. But I didn't know how to write it. As a thought that it was a good name the name popped up immediately.

Suddenly red points began to pop uo in the map surrounding me. So if I'm the blue dot any other dot is another life. I stood up and looked the surroundings. Sure enough I could see wolf cautiously coming over me.

"How the hell they are so CLOSE to me without me noticing ? F***!"

After I said that the map closed. So it seems the keyword is close. That is a good thing to know.

It seems that the forest wolfs were attracted to all the ruckus that I made with that shouting, plus I didn't applied yet the yellow moon to my self.

I knew that if I had to fight them I could probably kill 2 or 3 sustaining heavy injuries because I'm not yet used to this flimsy body. And then the others will probably eat me.

Also I can't outrun a wolf in it's natural habit.

So I remember what my father told me and began to shout, move my arms up in my head and even removed my coarse t-shirt and put it over my head to appear taller than I'm already am.

They freeze and seemed a little scare but the pack leader growled at me and when that happened I threw my pocket rocks ! Remember to always have sand or rocks on your pockets kids! Is always handy! That was also a thing my father used to said.

They began fleeing once they felt that this prey was a lot more meaning that it seemed.

I dislike to kill when it was unnecessary. All life is precious. Even if some people is are scum maybe they can serve a porpoise. No! I can't think like that, that's the way they felt when they were ordering us in the battlefield. Never again.

I don't know how to feel right now, I need to clear my ideas. But now is not the time. I must continue traveling forward.

After one more hour I finally arrived to my destination. "Crystal Tear". It was a lagoon over 1 km and it's shape was like a tear.

I directly went to the bottom of the tear, where it began. And went to a near big rock. Behind that rock was a thin root with blue lines. It looked like they were pulsing. I carefully removed them from the soil. At the end of the root was a tiny sapling and when it was outside the soild it just pooped out the root and died.

I gently buried the sapling in the removed earth. And said thanks to the god of nature even if I didn't meet him and instead I was in the dark place.

This thin root was a treasure for someone like me that disliked the metallic feeling on my body. It was the blood wood a treasure root that you can shape anything you want the first time after you applied water and blood. Bonding in the process the treasure to the finder.

It was enough to make 2 knuckles or something similar. I wish I had enough to make a gadlings but that was not the case. In the army I used a cestus with a little bit of iron on them for extra damage.

I was ready to take off when I saw it .
