Words intoxicated by wine and ignorance.

Hela in just one step was already on Mount Olympus.

She could hear the sound of music and laughter, it was easily noticeable the peaceful rhythm that that place lived.

Mount Olympus was like a huge city perched on top of a mountain.

Mixing with the clouds the buildings appeared.

Mount Olympus was divided into three zones and each of them had their own representatives.

The first zone was controlled by Zeus and was very similar to what one would imagine of an urban center.

There was commerce, people, buildings.

Greece had been built in the molds and desires of the gods and all the architecture of what was called 'Ancient Greece' by humans was actually the molds of perfect architecture in the eyes of Zeus.

He had all that white and pilasters as a brief association of power and mention the clouds that surrounded his home, it seemed only fair that humans lived the same way.

Going to the city of Athens around 400 BC was like going to Mount.

In some respects they even resembled the same city, perhaps the real difference was that in one place there were gods and in the other not.

It was true to say that the initial plan was to make Olympus and Greece one place where gods could live together with humans, but it soon seemed impossible.

Humans and gods were too similar, in their qualities and defects.

Some wanted to kill or steal, others wanted power and were greedy.

The gods, especially Zeus, would not tolerate their sovereignty being threatened.

A small example is Pandora who was cursed to carry a box without even knowing why.

They simply hated her.

It doesn't take much for a god to act in inconsequential ways, there's a lot of power and any sigh can spell complete disaster.

It is very different from mere humans who, if they act irrationally, do not cause much greater harm than their own existence.

Gods can destroy worlds and themselves, just one bad word, unrequited love or even an unwilling act.

Mount Olympus was like a sacred place where gods and blessed humans could share the same experience.

A micro cosmos where they cordially coexisted.

Of course, only those that the gods themselves considered together and deserving.

It was not impossible to be in the company of Aristotle and Zeus.

Blessed humans were those who after death would not simply be sent to the underworld, their importance was such that treating them as mere mortals did not seem fair.

Within the very definition of the gods of justice.

Deserving, idolatry, honor, achievements.

It all mattered somehow, but the most important factor was still Zeus's permission.

Warriors, thinkers, artists all populated and kept Mount Olympus alive as a bustling metropolis.

Zeus' domain was the only way to enter Mount Olympus, it was impossible for someone to enter that place and not be noticed by the god, but strangely he was not there.

Hela as she walked could briefly see Zeus' palace completely empty.

She remembered perfectly the place that judged her to a thousand years of exile and nothing had changed.

It was just as noisy as before.

But the clouds were still as beautiful as ever.

Hela had no bad feelings about that place, she had gained Ina right after that trial.

Maybe she should look for Zeus on the way back and thank him.

Anyway, Hela went on her way and with each step she felt more immersed in the rhythm of the people and the place.

Everyone there wasn't scared by the unusual presence of a Nordic woman, but it was curious.

They were used to seeing other gods, many came especially to talk to Zeus and to attend meetings and trials.

But even so, the armor and the strange weapon in the form of claws drew attention.

Hela could feel eyes following her from every corner, but she should just ignore it.

The zone where Aphrodite lived was the third and to get there, it was necessary to cross all the other zones.

The first dominated by Zeus and where the entrance to Mount.

The second zone was the largest of them and was where most of the Greek gods lived, isolated houses in the middle of a dense forest ruled by Athena.

Hermes lived there somewhere within the immense forest.

In addition to the forest, there was also the infinite library controlled by Apollo, where all the knowledge in the world was stored.

And lastly, there was a military training camp controlled by Ares, where worthy warriors would live until the end of eternity.

Hades and Poseidon were the only ones who didn't live on Olympus.

The ocean was called zero zone and they say that at the beginning of everything Atlantis was a piece of Mount Olympus that was lost and fell into the sea.

Poseidon did not escape in time and was trapped in those lands until they were completely flooded.

When he ran out of breath and his lungs filled with water, the sea turned dark and he had reached the depths.

Maybe that was death, but when he just woke up and saw that everyone who lived there was fine, it seemed very obvious that this was his place.

He thus remains the only one able to live under water among the Greeks.

Hades already ruled zone 4 and it would not be an exaggeration to say that he took what was left.

He simply cares for the dead and gets lost among them.

There was a rift that led to the depths of the earth and Hades remained there until he became sovereign.

In any case, zone zero and four didn't interest Hela at the moment.

She could only find what she wanted if she stayed on Mount Olympus and only after crossing the entire second zone would it be possible to finally enter the zone controlled solely by Aphrodite, the third.

The third zone was not known in its entirety, but what little Hela knew was that there was a huge field of red roses at its entrance.

There wasn't much knowledge for two reasons: the other gods didn't dare to enter Aphrodite's territory and those who dared would never leave there.

Therefore, it wasn't as if many people could tell what they saw when they entered the third zone.

Also, it was impossible for an outsider to enter Mount Olympus and go to Aphrodite without passing through the other zones, and many got lost in the library or forest.

Be brave enough to brave every little surprise and only then be worthy of Aphrodite.

Hela knew it wouldn't take long to cross the small city of Zeus and she could already see the huge entrance to Apollo's library on the horizon.

She didn't feel any kind of threat around her and it seemed very obvious that if she remained quiet no one would come to attack her.

It was really curious for Hela to think that to get a mere piece of information she had to traverse Mount Olympus from one end to the other.

It was almost a pilgrimage.

Hela's cheering was for it not to be in vain.

It was very obvious that as long as she was on Mount Olympus her wife would abide by the human world's own rules.

Days amidst Olympus could be a whole month for Ina.

She couldn't linger too long in that place.

"Girl!"

A voice stood out from among one of the stalls on the small shopping street.

Hela could feel the intent and that sentence had been directed at her.

She turned to see who was calling her and a gentleman sitting next to a table stood out.

He stood out with his long white beard.

The man appeared to be eating, yet he was still looking at Hela as if he was just waiting for her to join him.

Hela sincerely thought about moving on, but she felt that she should talk to that man and she would follow through with her intention this time.

She approached with firm steps and pulled out a chair to sit opposite the man. "Are you calling me?"

The man smiled warmly and gestured for her to sit down. "What is your name?"

Hela arched her brow, genuinely puzzled that the man would simply ignore her question. "Hela, what do you want to talk to me about?"

She tried again and was ignored again.

He had no interest in her questions.

"Are you Hela or is that what others want you to be?"

Hela stopped for a few seconds and the man patiently waited for an answer, he didn't seem to be kidding and most likely he had no idea of the power she possessed.

Sighing briefly, she was going to play that game to see where the man would take her. "I am Hela of my own free will."

The man smiled, but still a little dissatisfied. "Are you really Hela? So what are you doing here?"

"I'm looking for Aphrodite."

The man picked up the glass of wine on the table and slowly took a sip.

He also seemed to digest that answer.

"Is talking to Aphrodite what you want or what you need?"

Hela hadn't thought about that.

Weren't wanting and needing the same thing?!

She needed Aphrodite so she could know where Galahad was.

"I want and need to speak with her."

"Are you sure you are Hela of your own free will?"

A little impatient Hela ignored the man and ordered a glass of wine for herself.

The man smiled, the young woman was really impatient even talking to an unassuming old man.

Of course he knew who she was, but it was especially intriguing to see someone like her walking around Mount Olympus.

After all, what are you doing here?!

"A little disappointing of your attitude, dear Hela... My name is Socrates, it is a pleasure to meet your divinity."

The man made no move to bow or lower his gaze from her.

He was polite, but there wasn't much more to it than that.

Socrates kept his same essence of life and still asked questions to everyone.

Even after so long he felt that he could not understand the immensity of the universe.

But unlike him, Hela didn't know who he might be, she wasn't aware of culturally important people.

To her Socrates was simply someone who was asking her nonsensical questions.

But she had the sneaking suspicion he was one of the blessed humans, it was obvious he wasn't a demigod or any divine variety.

He had an intrinsically human essence. "What did you expect from me?"

It would be a lie to say that she didn't expect much, but what little she got was very dissatisfying.

The man smiled a little curiously, but focused his attention on the beautiful grilled fish on his plate.

Despite everything he was hungry.

"Answers, isn't that what you want?"

Hela finally received her wine and sipped it, she already knew from the small fame that the wines grown on Olympus were the best because they were made with the grapes grown by Dionysus.

Well, it was really delicious.

"But what does it matter if I am Hela, if I want or desire something?"

The man sighed and began to slowly eat the fish.

That girl looked quite interesting in his eyes.

But he also felt his dissatisfaction a little more growing, she didn't even understand that she needed those answers.

"You only exist when you understand your own existence and are willing to dedicate yourself for a purpose... But people confuse desires with needs and reduce their existence to dust... It is important that you understand what makes you exist, Hela. .."

Socrates smiled and finally turned his gaze to Hela. "... Do you exist for yourself or simply for other people?!"

Uhhhh, this is getting interesting. I imagine that those who like history and philosophy must feel in heaven reading this story haha. Looking at the raw material of the story and it was around 315 pages, that's a lot haha in theory we already have enough content for a normal book.
