3 chapter 3: what has been lost will now be found

(note: since I didn't describe his appearance in he last chapter I'll do it now. the MC has messy black hair with pale skin and light blue eyes, he is at this point in the story wearing grey track suit pants a red and black stripped shirt (that has a large hole burnt in to its chest) and a navi's blue trench coat with a hood and his weapons are a enchanted hand gun and throwing knives, it was meant to be that he had freaked out a little about the throwing knives and hand gun and had put it in his bag to be examined latter, sorry I had forgotten to add these things in the previous chapter and feel to lazy to fix it so, thanks for reading :)

The sun was about two hours away from setting and Aether had been walking for what seemed like forever and his legs were now close to giving out, but while walking he was at work trying to organise his broken mind but so far he hadn't gotten far in that department, Aether had lived in new york city with his mom her girlfriend and his adopted little sister, after his mom got a letter and a package from his farther, who had left his mother shortly after found out that she was pregnant, the letter explained what was going on... but Aether could not remember what the letter said or what the package contained but letter must have had something to do with that poem or what ever in his note book... she then told him to go pack a bag and make his way to... somewhere he still can't remember the name of... then after making his way to this forest he then got attacked by what at the time seemed to be a small group of fire balls... and that's basically it apart from a bunch of stuff about school and some thing he remembered that he liked that was all he could remember, apart of course for all the greek mythology that had been burned into his mind.

Aether half collapsed half fainted to the ground, he was so tired all he wanted to do was sleep but after ten minuets of lying there in leafs, dirt and twigs he realised that it was pointless to try and sleep so he ate an apple and started to examine the strange hand gun and the note book further. The hand gun was all black and had a red runes carved into it and he tried to examine the bullets but he then realised that he couldn't take out the bullet cartridge because there wasn't one it didn't seem to need them because when he pointed it at one of the near by trees and pulled the trigger; there was a short high pitched demonic sounding screech as a small glowing red bullet like thing raced out of the gun and hit the tree, which now had a big hole in it "wow!" Aether was surprised that this thing was so powerful.

He pulled the note book out next and started to read a couple of pages at random and as he originally thought large portions of he book were dedicated to specific phrases and word these portions had references to greek gods and myths and even small bits of writing by him, he hoped by reading these that he would realise what type of person he was and what is going on, and he did but he got more than he had bargened for, because in these ramblings were diary entrees and these would open his eyes to the true and the reason for having to leave his home as his memories of the day his life changed all came rushing back to him.

The afternoon was cold and cloudy school had just finished and Aether was making his way back home, when he arrived his little sister was waiting for him in the dining room "Ae-Ae can you help me with my home work?" he smiled at his eight year old sister raven and sat next to her "well as your big brother I'm always here to help you, so what are we doing today?" "I need to do answer these seven times tables questions" Aether had stayed there for about thirty minuets as he helped her with her homework (it's not that it was hard but he only helped her along with the answers never giving then to her, and also his dislexia and discouculia prevented him from doing and thing else) his mom Emily and her girlfriend Milly had came back from their date and made dinner and after that they all sat down to what a movie, but they were interrupted as a loud knock came from the door, "I'll get it" said his little sister as she ran to the door and opened it, standing there was a tall gaunt man with pail skin and greasy grey hair "hello, I'm an here to deliver a package to one Emily lux" his mother walked over to the door "who is the package from?" she asked "well..." he leaned in close to my mothers ear and whispered it to her, a look of shock and happiness took aver her face "O-okay thank you f-for the package" she was about to close the door when the man blocked it with his foot "I was also instructed to over see the opening of the package and to answer any questions You might have afterwords" he's mother looked a little angry at the man "fine come in" she led the man to the couch and went to open the letter.

It was a full four minuets before she explained the letter to us "... and that's all it says" the room was silent, my mind was racing "so, your telling me that my farther is a god?" he looked at the tall delivery man "yep, he sent me hear to make shore that you under stand the situation" "why send you?" asked Milly "because I am his most trusted friend, and as the god of the underworld he doesn't have many of them" "s-so Ae-Ae has to go" I looked to my left to see Raven on the verge of tears He quickly rapped his arm around her "It'll be alright raven, I won't be gone forever" "well that is not exactly true" he looked to see his farthest friend "what do you mean?" "well as a child of one of the three eldest gods you have a very strong scent, so monsters will be after you all the time" "but I haven't been attacked by any monsters ever" "that's because you are have been protected by a little bit of magic that hecate preformed" "hecate, you mean the goddess of magic" "yep, she mad it so that you are invisiable to monsters" "then why do I have to leave?" "the spell wears off when you turn 14, which is in 1 week, so here is the place you need to go and good luck" he gave Aeher a map with a red X on it, to tell him where to go and after that he left and Aether was told to pack a bag.

Aether came out of his trance like state, the memories of his family and especially of his little sister had brought tears to his eyes as soon as he awoke, 'Raven, I promise that i'll see you again' tears continued to run down his cheeks it was a full minuet before he wiped his face clear of the tears and calmed down "will, I better get to camp as soon as possible".
