2 chapter 2: the awakening

The sun was at it peak in the sky as (the former max) opened his eyes and found himself in the middle of a forest, most of he trees were towering above him and little sun light was reaching down on to the forest floor, there was a searing pain in his chest he sat up and looked at his body, there was a huge hole in his shirt and the edges of the hole were singed like he had hit by a fire ball but the skin where the hole was was completely undamaged dave for a slight burn that was, to Aether's surprise was healing it self, he paid no more attention to the wound as he realised he was alone and didn't know where he was or how to get home 'but where is my home' it was then the realisation dawned on him 'who am I' his heart was starting to beat faster, he didn't know who he was my name (what ever is) was alluding him; out of reach like a leaf in the wind always avoiding his capture, then his head started to hurt, the pain was growing by the second he felt like screaming but for some reason he couldn't his scream came out as a raspy cry.

With every second the pain grew and grew, but the pain was followed by something; they were like flashes, pictures of a scene that he could feel like he remembered but he just couldn't; the flashes grew more vivid and now voices started to follow the flashes as they appeared in his mind, After the pain stopped (the former max) was left with answers of to whom he was 'those flashes... those voices... were they my memories?' he spent some time organising his thoughts trying to make heads or tails of all these memories.

From what he could gather from these flashes and voices from his past (the former max) figured out quite a lot; his name Aether Lux and he was out here looking for some thing, he had been out here for days and so far nothing but all Aether couldn't remember was what he was looking for, it was place that he was meant to go that was for shore but he couldn't remember what this place was, it was going to be harder now that he didn't even now what this place looked like or where he's all ready looked.

As Aether was doing this he noticed that laying next to him was grey backpack, he decided to look in it to as Aether assumed it was his and if it was his Aether wanted to know what he was carrying; a pair of red gloves with a big black X on each, a bag of small black metal disks, a small hand held silver mirror, a bottle of water, two apples, a bag of peanuts and a note book. The note book was the first thing he examined on the first page there was a poem or rhyme

When a black star rises the sun and sky will fall at the knees of darkness and tartarus will rise up from the underworld and titans will rule once more

A children of the three eldest gods a child of strength and death him self will fight that darkness and the world will be there's to save or raiz

After that most it contained a lot of stuff most of it was connected to greek mythology, one of the bigger part of information Aether had gotten during his painful remembering process, from what he could tell the book was dedicated to decoding the poem on the first page large portions of pages were used to write down thing that might connect to certain phrases in the poem he stood up gathered his things and started to walk in a random direction.
