8 Chapter 8

Ashewell and his mom went inside to look around. It was pleasantly nice as it was a 2 story house. There were a total of 4 bedroom and 3 bathroom. After 30 minute, Ashewell and his mom got use to the house. *Ring ring ring* Ashewell pick up his phone. "Hello?" Ashewell answer. "Hey, it's Durmon. Come outside, I have your position ready and just need you to start work now." Durmon said. "Be there in a moment." Ashewell said. Ashewell arrive outside and saw Durmon there. "Where is your badge?" Durmon ask. "Oh, do I need my badge?" Ashewell ask. "Of course you do. Don't you see me in my uniform?" Durmon said. "Alright, I'll be right back." Ashewell said and went back to get his badge. "Who is that person Durmon?" A man in his early 20s ask. "Haha! Did you fall in love at first sight?" Durmon ask. "Well kind of... Yes I think I did." He reply. "Well... Heiro, I got to disappoint you." Durmon said. "What do you mean by that?" Heiro ask. "You really want to know?" Durmon ask.

"Yes! Just tell me already!" Heiro shout at Durmon. "Alright chill I'll tell you. Ashe..." Durmon was about to say something but stop as he saw Ashewell. "You'll know sooner or later." Durmon said. Durmon want his cousin to suffer for a bit first before he find out the truth. Heiro just stare at Ashewell in awe. "Her uniform suit her so well and my god is she fine!" Heiro said to himself. "Done!" Ashewell said. "Alright! We can go now!" Durmon said. Everyone got in the car and was heading to their destination. While in the car. "Ashewell, meet Heiro. He is my cousin and is a 2nd year in the Sempiternal school." Durmon introduce his cousin to Ashewell. "Oh. Ashewell, nice to meet you Heiro." Ashewell said and hold out his hand. "Heiro and a pleasure to meet you!" Heiro quickly shook Ashewell hand. Ashewell could see that Heiro got him confuse for a girl. Ashewell was about to say something but was cut off by Durmon.

"Anyway Ashewell, my dad well not really. It's more of my mom decision. She had chosen a position for you. You will be a squad leader." Durmon said. Ashewell was shock upon hearing that he will be a squad leader right off the bat. "But I just start working?" Ashewell ask. "Not really my decision. They run the company I mean mostly is done by my mom. My dad is too busy reading about NEO animation." Durmon said. "Then how much people are in my squad?" Ashewell ask. "3 but don't worry they are the elites among elites." Durmon said. "Wait~ If they are they elites among elites, then why are they under my command? Should I not get some beginner?" Ashewell ask. "Well those 3 are all my cousin. They are already in the army and need someone to train them." Durmon reply. "But why me though? I mean, they could have someone better to teach them." Ashewell said. "Like I said before, this is not my decision. It's my mother." Durmon said. The reason why Sydna decide to let her 3 nephew under Ashewell command is because she had seen the video also. "We should be getting there soon." Durmon said.

"Anutie! I want an explanation! Why did you decide to move me from my squad to this newcomer!" Sydna niece shout at Sydna. In fact all 3 want an explanation. "Alright calm down you three. I had my reason for this." Sydna said. "No! I want to be back in my old squad." Another one said. "Look here, Sally, Kikrro and Yasmin. This newcomer is an expert alright. He is way above your league and you all better learn under him." Sydna said. "NO!" They all shout in unison. After a few more argument. "Alright then. Don't regret your decision. I was doing this for you all as I see a lot of potential in you all but you all just had to toss it out the window." Sydna said and put them back in their squad. "Done!" Sydna said. "Madam Sydna. Your son is here." A male staff report to Sydna. As soon as Sydna hear this. She dart past her 3 niece and ran straight towards the first floor. "What is wrong with auntie?" Sally ask. "I don't know?" Kikrro reply. "Only one way to find out. Come on lets go find out!" Yasmin said. They all rush after their auntie to see why she is in such a rush.

"Ahhh! You're finally here Ashewell!" Sydna rush and push her son away and went straight to embrace Ashewell. "You stupid mom!" Durmon help himself up. "Anyway since my 3 nieces decide to back out from your squad then I will find 3 new people for you right now!" Sydna said. "I'll be in his squad mom!" Durmon shout it out with his hand raise high in the air. "I will too!" Heiro also want to join. "You two sure?" Sydna ask. "I am very sure! I would do anything to be in Ashewell squad!" Durmon said boldly. "Me too!" Heiro chime in. "Alright." Sydna said. "Fuck yeah!" Durmon and Heiro heard this and could not contain their excitement. "But who will be the last person?" Sydna ask. "Can I pick the last person?" Ashewell ask. "Of course you can darling. But it had to be the people within here only." Sydna said. "That should be fine." Ashewell reply. "Who is she and why is auntie treating her so nice?" Kikrro ask. "Are you jealous that she is more pretty than you?" Sally ask. "No no, I was just curious." Kikrro reply. "Well why don't we go and greet her?" Yasmin said.

"Oh look who decide to show up mom." Durmon said. Ashewell look and saw 3 girl coming their way. "Ah! Ashewell meet your former squad unit. Sally, Kikrro and Yasmin. These 3 brat all my niece." Sydna said. "My former unit? So they left and that is why Durmon and Heiro join right?" Ashewell ask. "Correct and they will regret it haha!" Sydna said. "Who would regret being in her squad!" Sally retort. "Sorry but I am not a girl. I'm a boy." Ashewell correct Sally. Upon hearing that Ashewell is a boy and not a girl. They were all shock with their mouth and eye wide open. "No no. This can't be! My dream girl is a guy! But hey at least I can see his beautiful face everyday." Heiro said. Durmon saw Heiro reaction and burst out laughing. "What!? You're a girl, I mean a boy!?" Sally, Kikrro and Yasmin said in shock. "Yep but people mistake me for a girl due to my girly appearance and voice. But I am really a boy." Ashewell reply.

"You can't possible be a boy. I mean, look at yourself. I mean you can't look at yourself but you get what I'm trying to say. There is no outer feature that will show that you are a boy! Everywhere you look, is all related to girl!" Yasmin said. "Well, you all could think what you want. But I am a really a boy." Ashewell said again. "Enough of this. Ashewell you should go find your last squad member." Sydna said. "Alright." Ashewell said. After Ashewell left in search of his last member. Sally, Kikrro and Yasmin stood there still in shock. "Is this what you mean by regret auntie?" They ask. "No but you all will see later." Synda said and went back to her office. "Can you two understand by what auntie mean by that?" Sally ask. Kikrro and Yasmin just shook their head as they were just as clueless as Sally is.

"Where is the training ground?" Ashewell ask. "It's outside on the back. Come on I'll lead you there." Durmon said and lead the way. Shortly, they arrive to the training ground. "Here we are!" Durmon said. Ashewell saw the training ground and was surprise. "This is really a nice training ground." Ashewell said. "Right!?" Durmon said. "Anyway who will be our last member?" Heiro ask. "I already got one in my eye when I enter here." Ashewell said. "Really!? Who!?" Durmon and Heiro ask. Ashewell point at a person that was looking at the people in training. "That person? That person is a janitor though." Durmon said. "Does not matter. Your mom already let me pick anyone that is within this facility right?" Ashewell ask. "Hmmm, she did say that. Alright it's decide then! Heiro go and call that person over." Durmon said. "What!? Why me?" Heiro protest. "Unless you don't want to be in this squad." Durmon said. "You know what. I sometime wish you were never born." Heiro glare at Durmon. "Haha! I wish that was true." Durmon said in a sad tone. *Hmph* Heiro rush to get their last member.

Heiro call over their last member. "You call for me young master Durmon?" She said. "Don't call me young master. Just call me Durmon. We will be seeing each other often." Durmon words confuse her. "What do you mean by that?" She ask. "Ask this person." Durmon said and point at Ashewell. "You will be our last member for my squad." She heard this and was secretly happy. She had always want to be a NEO fighter but never had the chance. She had no one to support or anyone to care for her. She has always been alone. No place to call home and she would stay at the shelter and wake up to come back to work then rinse and repeat. "What is your name? Full name?" Durmon ask. "Oh uh, it's Irmark Hwamura." Irmark reply. "Good. Follow us." Durmon said. "But I still got work to do." Irmark said. "Heiro take her stuff and complete her work for her." Durmon said and look at Heiro. "Fine~." Heiro reply. "Thank you!" Durmon said. Heiro took Irmark stuff and went to do the cleaning for her.

They return back to Sydna office. "Got your last member?" Sydna ask. "Yep, just need you to register her mom." Durmon said. "A janitor?" Sydna ask in shock. "Well you did say that I can pick anyone within the facility." Ashewell reply. "Ah! I did say that. It's my fault then. Whatever, your choice anyway. Name?" Sydna ask. "It's uh Irmark Hwamura." Irmark reply. "All done. You are now a member of Ashewell squad. And by the way what will you call your squad Ashewell?" Synda ask. "Spica." Ashewell reply. "Oh and why though?" Sydna ask. "It's a double star and is really beautiful too." Ashewell reply. "That's it. Oh well. Your choice not mine. Durmon go and get her a NEO box." Sydna said. "Right away mom!" Durmon reply and lead them away to get a NEO box for Irmark. Soon, they arrive to the room full of NEO box. "Choose whatever class you want." Durmon said. Ashewell also went to choose a box. "Wait? You are going to choose one too?" Durmon ask Ashewell. "Of course!" Ashewell reply. "Oh! Right! I forgot that you can't use that suit." Durmon said.

Irmark chose an accel class that was in the medium class. Ashewell decide to chose one of the most uncommon type of support class which was a scout. It belong to the light class. There is a total of just 3% of scout that were use. "Why the scout class? It's such an uncommon class to be use." Durmon said. "I just like the design on the armor." Ashewell reply. "That is the reason why you chose it?" Durmon ask. "Yeah." Ashewell reply. "Oh well, you're the leader anyway. I bet you know what you're doing." Durmon said. "Alright since we got our NEO suit. Lets go and test it out shall we?" Durmon said. "That is a good idea." Ashewell said. Irmark nod in agreement also. She really want to fight in a NEO suit for once. Heiro finish the work and return to meet them. "Alright for the first training. We will have a battle for fun to test out our skill and experience." Ashewell said. "Ha that should be easy!" Heiro said. "Irmark you and Heiro will fight each other first." Ashewell said.

"Should be easy." Heiro said. "Never let your guard down for once remember. This may just be a battle for fun but make sure you take this seriously. Just think of this as a real battlefield. Just take 30 second to get use to your suit first Irmark." Ashewell said. Heiro took out his NEO box and press it against his chest. *clank* A suit of armor cover Heiro. He was an offense class that belong to the light class. Irmark press the NEO box against her chest and was also cover in a layer of armor. Irmark use 30 second to get use to the suit of armor. "Ready!" Irmark said. Heiro heard this and taunt for Irmark to take the first initiate first. Irmark charge at Heiro. "Ha! Too easy!" Heiro said and took out his spear and swing it at Irmark. But he hit thin air only. "What?" Irmark had jump up about 3 meter into the air. Irmark did a spin and fell fast towards Heiro. *clank* Heiro got one hit KO. "Warning! Suit retracting in 3 2 1." *Whoosh* Heiro suit retract and there was Heiro in a pity state. The people nearby feel pity for Heiro. Heiro feel so embarrass for losing to a girl. "Already told you to be wary." Ashewell said then gesture for Durmon to go in next. Durmon was unsure if he could beat Irmark also.
