1 Chapter 1

"Ashewell! Wake up! Today is your first day to school! You can't be late!" Gila shout at her son. Ashewell slowly open his eye and look at the time. "Oh shit! First day and I will be late already!" Ashewell quickly got up and began putting on his school uniform in a rush. The academy require them to wear uniform. The boys has to wear a pale blue button shirt and a burgundy khaki. As for the girls, they have to wear an orange button blouse along with a dark blue high waist bubble skirt. Ashewell were making so much noise that his mom had to come check on him. "What's with all of these commotion?" Gila ask. "Oh about that mom... I got to go now." Ashewell said and rush past her to get his breakfast. Gila was 31 and she had to take care of Ashewell. Ashewell does not know who his father is and every time he ask his mom about his father. She would always ignore him and change to a different topic.

Ashewell arrive to the kitchen and stuff his breakfast into his mouth quickly before dashing outside. Gila got to the kitchen and just smile. "You better not cause trouble on your first day." Gila said with a smile. Ashewell was outside running towards the academy. Ashewell roll up his left sleeve and began typing something on his arm. "6:30, I can still make it in time." Ashewell said and roll up his right sleeve also. Ashewell is 175 cm (5'7). He look like a girl, even his body was shape like a girl and his voice even sound like a girl. Overall he was like a tomboy but in actuality, he is a boy but people would always mistake him for a girl. Ashewell past by the ocean and decide to take a moment to appreciate the view. "What a grand view! Muhaha!" Ashewell weirdness caught many people attention. "What is she doing?" A guy ask. "She must be crazy." His partner reply.

Ashewell heard this and feel down instantly. "Ah... This is why I hate having this weirdness side to me." Ashewell said and drag himself away. Ashewell ran for 2 minute and he almost got ran over by a car when he was crossing the street. "God damn it you stupid car! Why didn't you take the air traffic instead! The road down here is for bike only!" Ashewell curse at the car. "What's with that weirdo?" The girl in the car ask. "Don't mind her Erin. She is probable just another failure. On the other hand you are the most successful and brightest star that will rise no matter what!" Erin uncle said happily. Erin just click her tongue as she know that she is the best. She is from the Drake family and the Drake family own many NEO company. Her father is one of the top 5 best NEO engineer and her mother was a NEO fighter champion.

Ashewell finally stop cursing at Erin and continue running to the academy. Ashewell got to the academy and just barely made it in time. If he was 5 second late then he would have been lock outside and will have to miss his first day. Ashewell look at the scene in front of him. This was just the entrance and it was already so big. Imagine what the academy will look like. "Can't wait to see the academy with my own eyes!" Ashewell could not contain his excitement that an evil smile appear on his face. Ashewell realize that he was looking like a creep. He quickly change his expression and began making his way to the academy.

Ashewell got to the academy and could see countless of students here as well. "No shit there would be students here." Ashewell said and went to the stadium where students is going to. They will have to go to the orientation first before they can get to their class. Everyone arrive to the stadium and went to their year. Freshmen and senior share the same line. While sophomore and junior share the same line. Ashewell does not have any friend so he just went and stand randomly in the freshman line. Ashewell stood out the most in the freshmen due to his long black hair and his beauty. Many student were busy chatting among each other while they wait for the headmistress to come up to the podium.

Ashewell look around and saw that many boys were looking at him. He look at them weirdly as to why they are looking at his direction. "She is really beautiful! She would be a good girlfriend to have!" Many male students began talking about Ashewell. Ashewll heard them and shook his head but choose to ignore them. "May I have everyone attention please!" The headmistress said and got everyone attention. "Thank you. *Ahem* I would like to congratulate you all for making it to NEO-Xeno Academy!" The headmistress clap her hand. Everyone also clap and cheer as it was a big accomplishment for them if they make it to NEO-Xeno Academy.

"Alright everyone quiet down! You all can call me Madam Yeagrras! Alright! We will now sort the freshmen into their school!" Madam Yeagrras said. "Yes we will be sort into our school!" Many students were excite about this. The sophomores, juniors and seniors went to sit at their school. There were 3 school in total. There was the Lagoon school and their uniform is similar to that of a mafia. The Pyrrhic school and their uniform is similar to Korean school uniform. And finally, there was the Sempiternal school which their uniform is similar to a navy uniform. "We will be sorting you all into your school now. First up is Erin Drake!" Madam Yeagrras said. Everyone heard this and stare at each other in shock.

Erin went up to the podium. "Alright. Put your NEO box here and it will determine which school you will be in." Madam Yeagrras said. Erin nod and took out her NEO box and place it on top of the hologram. The hologram lit up and many color began to appear before it finally settle on the navy blue color. "Sempiternal school!" Madam Yeagrras announe Erin school. Everyone in Sempiteral school heard this and cheer loudly as having a Drake in their school is just too amazing. The Lagoon and Pyrrhic just stay quiet, they also want Erin in their school but what can they do. "Alright next is Fela Ango!" Fela heard her name and went up to get sort into her school.

After 30 students went by. "Next! Durmon Axel!" Madam Yeagrras said. Everyone heard this and was shock. "Could he be the son of the famous general Hecka Axel?" Students began chatting among each other. Durmon walk up to the podium. "So, how is your father Durmon?" Madam Yeagrras ask. "He is doing well. Thank you for your concern." Durmon reply. *Tsk* "Is this what they call the cool kids that have all of the attention?" Ashewell ask himself. Durmon place his box on the hologram. Colors began to appear and after a short while, all of the color disappear and was left with silver. "Pyrrhic school!" Madam Yeagrras said. The Pyrrhic school heard this and cheer loudly. They may have lost Erin but they got a famous general son.

Many students went up to the podium and had their school sort out. "Pyrrhic school! Pyrrhic school! Lagoon school! Sempiternal school!" Madam Yeagrras said after students had their school chosen for them. "Next! Ashewell Ector!" Madam Yeagrras said. Finally it was Ashewell turn. *Phew* "Glad that I am not the last one." Ashewell said. There were still about 20 or so more students left behind him. Ashewell walk up to the podium. "Wow! Who is she? She could be one of the top beauty in the whole academy." Many student stare at Ashewell in awe. Madam Yeagrras was also shock as Ashewell was just too beautiful. "Wow! Never had thought that such a beauty would be attending here." Madam Yeagrass said. Ashewell reach Madam Yeagrras. "Place your NEO box here." Madam Yeagrras said. "Box?" Ashewell ask in confusion. "You don't have one?" Madam Yeagrras ask. "It's not that I don't have one but I just never create one. I don't have a box." Ashewell said and lower his head.

Madam Yeagrras just sigh. "How did you not have one yet?" Madam Yeagrras ask. "Well you see, me and my mom are very poor. I am not trying to make you pity me but just hear my story for a bit. Me and my mom are very poor. She use of all of her saving to send me here and that is why I was not able to afford a box." Ashewell explain to her. Madam Yeagrras heard this and went into a deep thought. "What should I do? Her mom spent all of her saving to send her here and if I just kick her out then... Ah! This is giving me a headache!" Madam Yeagrras hold her head in pain. She does not know what to do. "Lagoon school!" Madam Yeagrras said. There was a few cheering and applauding mostly from boys. The boys from the Lagoon school were excited as this might be their chance. "Thank you Madam Yeagrras for not kicking me out!" Ashewell thank Madam Yeagrras. "Go, just go to your school." Madam Yeagrras kick Ashewell off the podium.

Ashewell went to his school. However, he does not know anyone here so he choose to sit alone at the far back. After 15 minute, all of the freshmen were done being sort into their school. "Alright, everyone especially the seniors! Return to your school section and introduce them to everything here!" Madam Yeagrras said. "Yes Madam Yeagrras!" Everyone reply back and salute. Their salute was pretty simple as they just need to put their right hand over their left collar bone. Madam Yeagrras did the same and walk off the podium. "Alright everyone, we will divide up into 8 group!" A female senior in the Lagoon school said.

All of the freshmen was divide into 8 group. Ashewell was in a group consist mostly of girl, maybe he was put there due to his girly appearance. Ashewell does not care much as he is use to people mistaking him for a girl. Ashewell however, really hate his appearance because every time he wake up. His girly face is the first thing that greet him in the morning. He want to look like a boy and not a girl. "Alright everyone, you're all with me! You may call me Umji." Umji said. She was really pretty and this caught Ashewell attention. Umji lead her group to another location which was the dorm. "This is the dorm and if you want to stay here then you can but it comes with a cost. And everyone here should know by now what the cost is." Umji said. Everyone nod as they know what Umji mean.

Umji then lead them to the academy courtyard. "This is where you hang out when you have free time but you don't have to. Students hang out everywhere. Alright, lets head to the arena!" Umji said. "Yeah!" The freshmen were excited as the arena is where students fight each other. NEO-Xeno Academy focus mainly on combat and engineering. Students that graduate from NEO-Xeno Academy are always guarantee a job. Either as an engineer, a soldier or high rank officer. Many students come here because they want to be successful. Ashewell come here because he was force to by his mother. He just want to stay home and help her. He really love her and just want to make sure that she get some time off.

Soon, they all arrive to the arena and they were not the only one there. Another group was here also. It was the Sempiternal school. "Oh my, it seem like my lovely Umji is here also." A male students said. "How many time do I have to say that I am not yours." Umji reply. "Oh come on! You know that I am more powerful than you! I, Kent Grasve, is perfect to be your soul mate!" Kent said. "You are never worthy!" Umji glare at Kent. "Then why don't we fight it out? If you win then I will stop bothering you. But if I win then you will have to be mine." Kent said and wait for Umji to say something. "Urgh! So cringy! This kind of men is the type of men that I hate the most!" A voice said but was pretending to sound deep. Kent heard this and became angry.

"Who said that? Come out now!" Kent shout at the voice. A beautiful girl walk to the front. "Oh! A pretty girl! Why don't you be mine instead!" Kent said. "No thank on that beside I would never consider dating you." Ashewell said. Students on both group heard this and burst into laughter. "Ha! Kent had just got rejected like the usual!" Students began chatting among each other. Kent heard this and his face turn red. "I challenge you to a duel. If I win then you be mine!" Kent said proudly. Everyone heard this and burst out laughing even more. "Seem like Kent had set his eye on her! Haha!" Laughter echo throughout the whole arena. "Then what if I win?" Ashewell ask. "Then you can do anything to me." Kent said. "How about no. If I win then I want you to not be near me. And if you win then we go with what you said earlier." Ashewell said. "Fine by me! I will win either way!" Kent said proudly as though he had already won.
