"Hmm..." Lin Mama sat, pondering on something very important to her little 3 years old son. Her husband noticed that when he walked in the kitchen.

"Honey, what are you thinking about?"

"About kindergarten. When should he start?" She sighed. Her son was smart and disciplined all by himself, but...

"...His cuteness would bring trouble to himself directly or indirectly, no matter what." The mother was worried, and so was the father when he realized that.

"You're right... They may even take advantage of him even if he's smart! He has not seen the so-called 'hostility even with a warm smile'!" Lin Papa added, even more worried.

Their son had mostly been kept inside because few months ago, when they took him outside for a walk in park, an accident occurred that frightened them even now.

When they left him alone to get friends in the park, their son was immediately surrounded by little girls who didn't know about personal spaces. They had took advantage of him, pinching him, hugging him, kissing him, whatever. They were finally stopped when their parents ran to him, embarrassed by their actions and apologized to the little boy and his parents who were looking shocked and frightened.

The poor little boy looked traumatized, fearing little girls now, the father and mother thought.

"Maybe we can put him in boys-only kindergarten and school?" Lin Papa thought.

"No! I want him to have a childhood crush, so he has to go to a public school that has both girls and boys!" Lin Mama angrily retorted as she stood in front of her helpless husband. "He has to get girlfriends to get romantic experiences! I also want a daughter-in-law, you know!"

"Alright, whatever you say, honey."

"Huh?! What did you say to me?!" She unreasonably asked, much to his exasperation.

"I said that whatever you think is always the best!"

The woman was satisfied with that and nodded as she walked to her son's room. "Good. I'm going to ask little Shen for his opinion on this."

The young man just nodded helpless, standing in the kitchen. 'But what about my breakfast...?'

"Little Shen!" Lin Mama warmly shouted, as she entered his room. She was met with a sight that she would never forget in her whole life. Shen was sitting on the floor, watching the small television in front, but he was not paying attention to it.

The little boy was opening and closing his small mouth, as if talking to his imaginary friend. His mother suddenly suffered a critical strike when he said something aloud. "Yes! Women are scary!"

"...!" She cried internally, wasn't she also a woman too? But then his next sentence made her filled by happiness.

"But mommy is the only one that is not scary!" The little boy cutely nodded as he crossed his small arms while sitting, as if talking to himself. "I love her and daddy!"

"Umph!" The mother propelled herself towards her son and hugged her, to which the former Heavenly Emperor had expected as he already sensed her. "Ahhh! I love you too!"

The little boy giggled in her embrace, and said. "I don't care if you want to put me in a school with girls, I will go if you want!"

"Eh?" This surprised her as she hadn't told him about it. It also confused her. "Aren't you afraid of them?"

"No!" He shook his head, really wanting to facepalm. "I was never scared by them, I just didn't like them after their assaults!"

"Oh!" Struck with a realization, she nodded understanding. She also chuckled at his use of 'assaults'. "I see."

"Then, I'll put you in the kindergarten I've been checking out." The mother announced. "But when do you want to start?"

Tilting his small head, he asked. "What do you mean, mommy?"

"Well, I mean 'redshirting'. Like do you want to start at the age of 3 or five? Because if you start too early, you would always be the youngest in class." She explained, making him understand.

"You decide!" The former Heavenly Emperor did not care as he was in fact over 9 billion years old with his soul. Little kids? Pfft, he can handle them!

Well, except the overbearing girls who didn't care about their personal spaces...

'Hmm...' Lin Shen, the former Heavenly Emperor, stood in his room, pondering as he closed his eyes, checking his five-years-old body. 'This confirms it.'

His body had been unknowingly strengthening itself, to the utmost perfection with only Inborn True Qi. This also meant he had been unconsciously cultivating both his body and mental. Now he could be on par with a cultivator at Beyond Mortal stage with his body and mind alone.

Unsurprisingly, he already had a wide variety of cultivation techniques from his past lives so he could casually pick one of the bests and adjust it to the current universe's laws.

He had found this cultivation technique in an ancient ruins that appeared in middle of nowhere in Divine Realm of his universe and he was the only one who ventured it due to the dangers it emitted, scaring those of God Kings and below. After reading it, he couldn't understand how it got here as it was an cultivation manual from an being higher than Heavenly Emperor that controlled countless universes itself.

The moment he would cultivate with this manual, the being would know it and force him to undergo several tests.

'Well, first, let's absorb the information.' Lin Shen said as he neared the sharp book, touching it. On contact, it became a light beam going to the center of his forehead, feeding him information.

What he didn't realize was that at the same time in real life, his body went lifeless and collapsed on the floor, causing a sound that made his parents to come up.

They were frightened when they saw him looking lifeless and feeling cold, with white eyes.

"Shen!" Lin Mama cried out as she bolted to his side, yelling at her husband. "We need to go to the hospital!"

"Al-alright!" Lin Papa was in panic too and responded briefly after his shock as he grabbed the keys to his vehicle with his wife carrying Lin Shen's lifeless body.

"Eh?" Shen was astounded when he looked around. He was in a empty gray room, 50 ft. wide and 50. ft tall. The boy walked around and looked confused. He was sure he had only simply gather information but he was taken instead.

"Hello." A sharp voice came in the empty gray room, frightening the former Heavenly Emperor. This voice was so sharp that even his soul felt like it was being cut from its voice alone! "Do not worry, I have seen you long ago in another universe. It was pretty an huge achievement for you to hold the strongest Heavenly Emperor position for nearly 10 billion years."

"Had you waited till 10 billion, you would have met me. Alas, you could not handle it and decided to reincarnate in another universe." The sharp voice continued, emotionless. "Anyways, the moment you found this cultivation manual, I had already decided you would be my first and last disciple."

'First and last disciple?' Lin Shen was astounded as this meant the strong being had never taught anyone else and perhaps, he would become the second person to have his techniques! Shen was excited as he waited for the sharp voice to continue.

"Now, even though I have already decided so, you still have to undergo three tests of mine." It announced as the gray room dispersed into countless small particles, shining. "Oh, don't worry about the time. In here, a year would be a month outside.

[First Test : Stay still and never move a single bit. You will remain like this until all of those gray particles disappears.]

'Eh?' Lin Shen felt like this was too easy... Sure enough, the gray particles suddenly swirled and one of them floated near.

He stood still, like a frozen statue. The moment the gray particle made contact with his body, it popped into nothing. 'Huh? That's it?'

Shen was about to heave a sigh of relief for overthinking when suddenly he felt an incredible pain from his toes to his scalp. 'F*ck! This hurts so much!'

He however, didn't dare to budge as the first test would fail him if he did so. The next gray particle moved towards him, but this time it exploded into a spike ball, hitting him.

'It looks like those gray particles varies!' He gritted his teeth as his body slowly healed the holes in it from the slike ball.

Lin Shen's lifeless body suddenly convulsed in real life on the hospital bed. His body twitching every now and then, frightening the nurses and parents.

"What's going on?!" Lin Mama frantically asked the doctor, holding him too tightly by arm. The doctor had never been treated like this but didn't mind as he understood.

"He must be undergoing something awful in his dreams." The doctor assumed as he saw the brain waves. Sighing, he turned to the mother and father. "I do not know how long, but he has gone into a coma."

"...!" Lin Mama paled and would've collapsed if Lin Papa didn't hold her. She had intended to start her son's kindergarten when he turned five, only to find him in coma.

Lin Papa was also shocked and looked like he lost blood in head as he trembled while holding his wife. "B-but nothing is h-harming him, r-right?"

"...Yes." The doctor solemnly nodded, turning to look at the cute little boy behind the glass. He sighed when the boy convulsed again. The doctor pitied him and his parents as they had to go through this ordeal. "I'm sorry."

The nurse behind the doctor had been listening and looked saddened too. She turned and looked at the adorable boy, twitching slightly against the restraints. 'It's too sad to see him like this... especially when it's a cute boy.'

The mother finally snapped out of her shock and began to bawl as she shouted. "No! My baby boy! Shen!"

The father also had tears coming out as he hugged her, in middle of the hall. The doctor and nurse weren't embarrassed and stood where they were, looking through the glass. "We will take care of him during his comatose state, but you both can come visit him at any time."

"We will also inform you if any changes has been found." The doctor frowned and checked the papers in his hand. Finally seeing the cost needed, he sighed and said. "I will also pay his hospital bills, you two won't have to."

However, both of the parents were not listening as they wallowed themselves in sadness. The doctor sighed again and told the nurse. "Tell them what I said after they've calmed down."

The nurse nodded and, with that, the doctor walked away.
