1 Training hard

"Lina! What are you doing this summer?" Annie asked. Annie is my best friend and I can tell her anything.

"Hm. I want to apply for bodyguard as a job." I said.

"What? are you serious? Bodyguard? Why?" Annie was confused.

"Well, I can't let my taekwondo and judo go to waste 'cause I got trained for a really long time. I want to kick some butts during the summer while losing calories." I replied snickering.

"What are you doing online?" I asked.

"Whoa, Lina. They are accepting application for bodyguard right now. Look at this!" Annie told me.

"Whose that handsome guy? do you know? Annie?" I asked.

Annie replied, "Yo! It's Cheng! He's like the most handsome person on earth. You should totally try this. You will win his heart I trust you with my life."

I said, "He's a good catch. Okay, I'll apply it right now."

Few weeks later...

"Annie, I got in!!! I got selected for training. I can't believe it. I'm coming for you Cheng, you better be prepared."

Annie was shocked but she said congratulations to me on the phone.

Before training started, Lina started training with his brother, Mike, who is a police officer.

"Mike! You don't have work this week right?" I asked.

Mike said, "Nope, I don't have shift this week. What are you up to?"

"Can you train me? I got selected for bodyguard training for the Cheng Corporation." I shouted.

Mike spits out his iced coffee, "You're joking, right? There's no way...what? you really did it!! Congratulations! They are the best company with the best hotels and restaurants. Mom and dad will be so proud of you. Okay, let's consider this your day one training, let's go."

First, I had to run around the field 10 laps, 5 minute break, another 10 laps. Second day, I had to train with weight pad, I got the heaviest weight pad and walking up and down the hills with them. I ran with them later that evening. Third day, the same. Fourth day, Mike fought me with boxing which I love because I always beat him. He fought with me like it's real and I love it. I practiced Taekwondo and judo, and Iearnt Israel self defense from my brother from that day too.

Final day of practice was gun practice. I loved this so much, I looked cool with the glasses and also, I'm great at aiming. I practiced like it's real. That is why I love these type of activities. It keeps me active.

Few more days until the real training at the company... I cannot wait.
