19 Searching

The next morning, they split into several groups and searched for Lina. Along with search and rescue teams, as they called for more backups aka helicopters.

After several hours, they found Lina lying almost lifeless as she lost too much blood from the stab wound.

The search and rescue team called for emergency and medical services. As the medical team arrived, they quickly wrapped up Lina's wound and took her down.

The other groups were eventually called back.

Cheng was waiting for Lina in the cabin. He was so scared that he didn't sleep last night.

As the medical team arrived, they told them Lina got a stab wound, blood loss was a lot but not life threatening, she did get hypothermia. Right now... she just need rest. Her body is pretty strong for an 18 years old.

Cheng hugged and kissed me.

"Cheng... don't cry." I smiled weakly.

As Cheng carried me back to the cabin, my friends followed him.

Cheng held my hand for a long time and he barely let it go.

I slept for 2 days straight.

When I woke up, I saw Cheng sleeping on the bed holding me.

"Cheng! Cheng!" I called him.

"Lina, I thought you died. Don't leave me." He hugged me tighter.

"Silly, I won't die easily." I laughed a bit.

When I got up, it's so good to see my friends and other employees.

"Lina, you don't know how much Cheng cried. When we told him you went missing, he shouted and when he thought you died... he cried. Seeing you sleeping for 2 days and knowing you're alive... you don't know happy he is." My best friend told me.

As I talked to them in the living room, Cheng came and sat beside me. He held my hands and kissed me on the forehead in front of everyone.

Everyone oooo-ed us and suddenly Cheng kneeled down and proposed to me, "Lina, you're the only girl I will ever love. Let's get married."

I said yes happily and everyone cheered.

As I embraced him, he kissed me so passionately.

I love you, Cheng. I will keep the promise.
