21 Protection

Last night was too beautiful and felt so good. But, I was tired. As i went to the washroom and got prepared, I got nauseous again.

I got a pregnancy test kit from my mom as she will know i will need it later on. When I took a deep breath, I urinated and waited.

The result was positive. I was pregnant with Cheng's child again.

I was happy and I told Cheng as I showed my result.

He was so happy and he kissed me.

We went to the OB/GYN again and they told me I am 8 weeks pregnant.

We were so happy to share the good news again.

As we got to the company, we shared to good news to everyone. My mom was so proud of us.

We are happy the baby is growing healthily.

I said to Cheng, "Cheng, I will protect our baby well time." as I hugged him and he hugged me back.

Just then, a guy came to the front lobby and looking for the CEO. It's the same guy who caused my miscarriage I thought.

Cheng protected me as he pulled me behind his back. I told Cheng about it and he assured me, "You'll be fine, stay behind me." This is the first time the CEO protected me.

The guy said, "I'm sorry for last time, I caused you guys great pain. I'm truly sorry."

Cheng said in a cold voice, "Don't say sorry to me, say sorry to my wife."

I waited for the man's apology. He apologized and said sorry.

"Don't bother the CEO next time okay? If you have any complaint, go file a complaint form and we can deal with it. The miscarriage was just an accident. I am pregnant with his child again." I said.

"Congratulations, you two." He said. Then, he bowed and ran away.

"Cheng, thank you for protecting me." I said.

"I'm your husband and it's my duty to protect my wife." He said as he kissed my forehead.

Everyone cheered for us and my besties said, "Cheng was so handsome like that. He can be cheesy sometimes. I think he's cute and manly. But, damn, he's one hot man."

I was happy that he protected me and our child.
