9 Our forbidden relationship

My parents agree to have me work for Cheng for the months to come. I am taking a break from school... at least for now.

Finally, it's our annual Christmas party. I was so excited but Cheng wasn't.

"What's wrong? Don't you want to go to the party? It will be fun." I wanted to persuade him.

"I want to go too but I'm just afraid of the car that we are going to ride. I really wished you can use that motorcycle." He said.

"I wish that too but it's snowing hard right now." I replied.

"Daniel, look at me. You will be fine I promise you. If you are scared, you can just hold my hand. Like this." I told him.

After few minutes, our car came. I held Cheng's hand when we were on the car together. I told him it's okay several times. When the car suddenly brakes, Cheng's hands were trembling. I placed my hands on both of this hands and said, "Everything will be okay. You will be safe, I will protect you."

I hugged Cheng and his trembling stopped.

When we arrived at the Christmas party, it was so crowded. I am glad I came with Cheng. Even though he was scared but I'm happy he relied on me. He held my hand during the whole party with other bodyguards around. They were all staring at us. But, I just smiled and went with it.

We kept our little secret and we have no intention of letting anyone else know. It's only between us.
