15 My only love

Few weeks had passed, I'm not fully recovered yet. Cheng had been helpful almost everyday. Comforting me when I was in pain. He never left my side.

"Cheng, I miss our baby." I cried on his chest while he hugs me.

"My love, we can always have another one after you recover. Okay?" He kissed my forehead.

"Cheng.... I'm tired. I want to sleep." He stayed close to me while hugging me.

"It's okay, Lina. You will get better soon." Cheng said gently.

My mom came over and was checking on me.

"How is Lina?" My mom worriedly asked.

Cheng shook his head in disappointment.

"Not getting better. She wants to sleep most of the time. Not fully recovered physically and mentally." Said Cheng.

"You did your best already. It will take some time. Let her sleep, don't worry." My mom said.

Several hours passed,

"Cheng? Where are you?" As I got up from my bed, I started to looking for him.

"Lina, why aren't you in bed?" Cheng quickly came over to me and gave me his sweater.

"I missed you. I want to hug you." I said quietly.

Cheng took me to the bedroom and asked me to lie down. He hugged and kissed me non stop.

"You will get better soon, Lina." He whispered to me.

Few months had passed, I'm recovered. Cheng and I went to work together as usual.

I really thank Cheng for staying beside me.

I love him. He is my love.

We stayed together everyday as I assisted him and watching over him.

He is getting busier everyday but I promised Cheng that I will have his baby and I will protect my child better this time.
