30 BM:B3 Chapter 1

[ So, since we returned from Voltera, things have been going alright. My headaches have gotten worse, but Dad says we can at least keep them in control until I go back to Volterra. We have been hearing whispers of Victoria; something is going down in Seattle; I have heard Father and Dad talking about it a few times. If it keeps going this way, the Volturi will step in. But now, I am going to sign off. Apparently, Beau, E, and I are going to the Rez to hear the Elders tell the tribe story.]

I throw on my hoodie, go down to the garage door and see E and Beau there.

"Took you long enough," E said

"E you know..."

"Yes. . . Yes, you have to put your entry into your computer, yes, we all know, you fucking nerd." E said

"Whatever, let's get going. Julie and Bonnie want us there early so we can meet some of the other pack," Beau said

We were driving down to the Rez, just talking about random crap as we were driving down the road.

"Hey, Beau, how has Julie been? Haven't talked to her in a while?" I asked

"Ohh, she has been good, ever since she shifted, she is a whole lot less shy, I would say like she got a confidence boost. I have been going down to the Rez for a while now." Beau said

"Well, that's always good," I said

When we got there, we walked down to the campfire. Julie ran up to us.

"What's up, guys."

"Nothing much, just dying," I said

"That's not funny, Drake, and you know that's," Bonnie said; she came walking behind Julie

"Sorry, Ma'am," I said

Julie grabbed Beau and my arm and dragged us to get some food.

When We all sat around the campfire, Bonnie started to talk.

When we were returning to the car I looked into the forest for a split second, I saw a woman standing there, she looked and me then she disappeared.

"Hey, Stevie, what are you looking at at the start of the car? It's freezing," E said

"Yeah," I said, turning my head away.

After we dropped Beau off, we walked back into the house, and I sat down in the living room. Dad and Mom came in as I sat down.

"How was your night, sweetie," Mom asked

"Well, I am pretty sure I saw Victoria in the forest tonight," I said bluntly

It went dead silent,

"Well . . . Uhm, are you okay, Son?" Dad asked

"Well, yes, I just wanted you to know."

"Well, how about you go rest, Jane, and your Mothers and Father will be in tomorrow. Remember your Graduation is in two days."

Mom put on her best mom face, "My baby has grown up so quickly." she said

I rolled my eye and went to my room.
