The nurses closed the curtains as they blocked Yang "Sir, please stay outside"
Yang pulled his hair "Please! Do everything you can! I'm begging you!" He exclaimed with his teary eyes and a mournful look drew on his face.
The door closed..he was left there, frozen and speechless. Luke can't die right now, it was not about his mission. He can reboot the world if he wants, this is not the ending he's expecting. This is all different from his plan.
"You can't back out now Maam!!!!"
A loud scream dominated the whole hallway, it caused Yang to snap back to reality, the other patients and nurses took their attention away after seeing the situation. They didn't want to get involved.
Ellie pulled the woman's wrist before she could touch the hospital glass door exit "Maam! Why are you doing this to us! Have we talked about this yet?"
The woman yanked her arms away "I'm sorry, but I will not donate my son's heart, it's for us to decide! Stop pestering me!" She yelled
Ellie's face became gloomy, her eyes became pitiful "My patient is dying right now! We don't have any heart donors! I'm begging you!"
The woman calmed down a little and then she bowed her head "I'm sorry" she pushed the door until she vanished from their sight.
When Ellie turned her back, she was astonished seeing Kyle frozen to his feet. She hugged the omega very tight "I'm sorry" her voice cracked
Yang unconsciously wrapped his hands around Ellie, he hugged her very tight. It was Luke's donor, and it was so heavy for them to turn the tables..
"Ellie, if there's no other choice..I'm willing to give him my heart" he said in a mournful tone
Ellie cupped his cheeks "Kyle, please...don't do this"her eyes were welling up in tears, it was flowing non-stop on his cheeks. It was the first time Yang saw the lady cried this hard.
Yang yanked away, his feet moved on it's own. His feet brought him outside, it was a cold night, a silent and lonely night. Everything should be in place right now, they should be resting for the wedding tomorrow. He shouldn't feel all of this if things went in a good way.
"Wait!" The woman, who was going to cross the street, stopped and turned her back, "What do you want?!" She screamed like she was having the disgust in her eyes
Yang didn't answered her, instead he kneeled down straight and then he held the woman's hand "I-Im begging y-you...please…" he sniffed, he can no longer control the tears coming down from his eyes "M-My husband is really dying...p-please let--"
The woman pushed him away "Get away from me you pretentious people!! You're just doing this for your own selfishness!!" She yelled in anger
Then she walked away as fast as she could, not even looking at her surroundings. She didn't even notice the rushing truck towards her.
"Maam!!!! Wait!!!!!!"

The beeping sound beside him was the only noise invading his ears. He felt so tired and sleepy. The disinfectant smell was so strong that it was the only thing he could smell.
"Kyle…" he uttered with his very little voice.
The room became crowded..
"Luke! You're awake! Please hold on"
"We are going to do the operation!"
"Proceed to the operating room!"
"Luke...He did everything for you!"
"Luke...I'm sorry"
The last thing he remembered were the doors he entered before he lost consciousness.

Yang was left kneeling on the ground, cold crawling to him. The woman walked away, he didn't even notice the system. But he stood up immediately, it was not too late. He can still chase her, he ran towards the street, the flashing light from the rushing truck blinded him after pushing the woman away. Everything went blank, he can't see anything, he can't hear everything. The last name came out from his lips "Luke"
'DING!!!!! LOVE METER RAISED TO 100!!'
'CONGRATULATIONS!!!'
Yang saw Kyle's body laying on the streets, blood flowing from him. Ellie was hugging him. She was crying.
{I'm sorry Kyle, I just want to save the woman}

The system flashed green, circling on Yang a few times.

One month later.
"How are you my love?" He grinned as he placed the flowers beside the gray cold grave. His eyes were fixated on it's engraved letters 'KYLE PARK'
The wind blew the leaves above the tree as it rustled with the birds chirping.
"Darryl! Come here!" Luke called out the kid playing on the grass. He ran quickly towards his father. They both sat in front of the cold stone.
"Papa! Is Mama happy in heaven?"
Luke kissed his cheeks "Of course!"
Darryl looked down "Ryl miss Mama so much"
Luke patted his back and then gave him a kiss on the forehead "Papa miss Mama too, but Mama will be sad if he saw Darryl cry" he comforted
Darryl nodded back as he sniffed "Mmm! Ryl happy for Mama! Ryl not cry" his lips twitched "Ryl love Mama"
Luke looked at Kyle's grave once again, his heart felt heavy. It's been a month but he still can't avoid the pain he feels every time he remembers the last memories with Kyle. He clenched his chest, he can still feel the love Kyle left for him. A languid smile stretches his face as he uttered "Thank you"
"We're going now my love…"
Silence greeted Luke as he opened the door. The house became even quieter. Olivia meets them at the front door, she carries Darryl to his room to let him rest.
Luke didn't eat, he went upstairs, straight to Kyle's room. There's no one in there, he walked towards the bed. Luke lay down and hugged the pillow, he could still smell his wife. His heart filled with grievance once more, his breathing was heavy and painful. He rolled on the other side, something poke his face.He sat up and saw a colorful book with different designs. He picked it up. As he opened the first page, tears welled up around his eyes. There are cut out papers in every picture..
-This is just a short letter for Luke and Darryl, I'm so happy having you in my life. The best husband and an adorable child.
-Luke, if you're reading this it probably means I'm not here anymore, I'm so sorry for leaving you two so soon. I really want to stay longer but things are not in my hands.
-This memories will stay with you forever. Every moment I spend with you two are very precious.

-Luke, I'm so happy when you wear the peach jacket in the amusement Park, Darryl can't contain his happiness.

-The way you scold me cleaning in the middle of the night while my nose bleeds, I find it funny and adorable at the same time.

He bit his lower lip, his fingers ran to the last pages and under the cover, he saw a little box. Luke took it with his heavy heart. He slowly opened the lid and saw the familiar thing.
Their wedding ring was in it. His eyes felt stingy again,a great sob escaped him, his chin trembled. Something pricked his heart, it was painful. It was full of regrets. Behind that sadness, he whispered
"I wish I could have put this on your finger even for the last time."
