4 THE DAY I ARRIVED

present-day

[EROS' POV]

"Wow! I just can't believe that the business we have last week in Los Angeles pays off! Look at these babies!" Ares pointed at the tablet he's holding.

"Because of who?" Eryx asked.

"Of course, Mr. CEO." Ares proudly says and they all look at me.

"It's hard to persuade the Chairman of that company but I'm glad that everything's okay now," I say to them.

"It's been 6 months since we approach them and now, we're partners!" Ares shouted.

"Keep quiet, you fool," Eryx said while he's playing on his tablet, I think it's Minecraft.

"It's fineee. We're in a private plane, no one can disturb us." Ares relaxes as he lays down, "We still have 5 hours until we land in the Philippines, right?" He added.

I nodded as I drink wine.

"I got some time to sleep. Wake me up, okay?" He says and fell asleep.

I sigh and I stood up.

"Where are you going?" Eryx asked.

"To the bathroom."

I answered and went ahead.

I open the bathroom and went inside.

We still have 5 hours to go until we're back in our country. There are plenty of memories that I left there.

I got myself naked and I open the shower.

I heard the door open and someone opens the glass door where I'm showering.

"Eros." Eryx softly said.

"I'm showering," I said.

"I'm going to shower as well." He got naked too and I can see through his lust eyes.

He got inside and he's looking at me, he touches my chest and slowly circling my nipples.

"Can I join you?" He smirks.

"Eryx," I whisper.

He's about to kiss me when I stopped him.

"What we have is nothing, Eryx."

"I know that but we've kissed and kissing is not wrong, right?"

He moves closer to me and slowly kisses my lower lip and moves his hand to my chest.

I touched his hand, "I said stop."

"Eros, why are still holding back?"

"It's doesn't mean we've kissed, we can do other things," I said to him.

"But, I know you want it too."

He's about to cry.

"I'm sorry, Eryx. My answer is still the same."

"I can wait. This is not the right time." He says.

The water keeps on pouring but I know that he's crying. He's crying again.

"But I can help you."

He stops the shower and bends in front of me.

"Eryx. Don't." I say to him and stops him.

I grab my towel from the rack and left the bathroom.

This happened when I got drunk and stayed at his place and his father is out doing some illegal things. It is after I graduate from college. I'm so drunk that I imagined him as Ellis and we've kissed and had some touch in our chests, nothing more. This is the first time when I've realized that I don't hate girls, I just don't like them romantically. I questioned myself if I like men but the truth is, I don't.

I don't, it's just... it's not Ellis.

Then, it happened again, but I'm not drunk. It is when he confessed that he's in love with me since high school. I tried to forget Ellis and get over it but I can't. We just kissed and touch but nothing else happened to us. Then, it happened again when we first got our first partnership in Japan. But I stopped after that because I know, it's wrong and it's been so wrong since I'm imagining Eryx as Ellis which is so impossible.

Until now, he's been waiting for me to love him back which I'm trying but I just can't.

I already know the answer but... It's hard to admit it because I know, it will never happen again. That night, between me and Ellis, I shouldn't have done that. It shouldn't happen.

I went straight ahead to my bed and closed my door shut. This is my everyday struggle.

I always think of him. How is he? What is he doing right now? Does he miss me? Mom died 3 years ago and that is the last time I went back from the Philippines. I visited the funeral but I didn't see Ellis there. I stayed overnight and overthinking things if I made the right decision. I fell asleep and mom just popped at my dreams and saying, "Just do whatever your heart desires."

I woke up and waited for Ellis but he never came, so I went abroad with Ares and Eryx to continue our business together. After 3 years, we are coming back and I'm still questioning myself if I'm going to see him again.

After I put on my casual clothes, I lay on my bed and closed my eyes.

"Ellis," I whisper.

"WE ARE BACK!"

I heard someone shouted from outside.

Knock! Knock!

I slowly open my eyes.

"Eros? We're here." I heard Eryx said.

I stood up and grab my bags.

I open the door and I saw our secretaries bringing their bags. The plane already landed and Ares is the first one to go out.

"Mr. Beckett, let me help you with the bags."

"Thank you, Griffin," I said to him and he brought my bags.

I went outside with them.

The smell of the weather in the Philippines is different from the weather abroad.

I am back.

"We should go touring!" Ares exclaimed.

"Why are we touring when we already know our own country?" Eryx snorted.

"Why not? Let's have some fun!"

"I'm going back home. Father would be devastated when he doesn't see my face." Eryx said and he looks at me, "I'll see you later."

I just nodded.

He went first with his secretary.

"Not fair. How about you, Eros? Where are you going? Are you going to visit El-"

"I'm going to check the company. Besides, I already informed President Nerio that we will be arriving today." I say to him.

"That sucks. Okay, fine, maybe I'll go see my mom then."

"Say hello from me."

"Yeah, yeah, see you later!" He says and went straight ahead.

"The car is ready, Mr. Beckett," Griffin said as he opens the door.

"Thank you." Then I went inside.

[ELLIS' POV]

"Shit!"

"Ellis, you're are something, aren't you? You are so good!" He moans.

"Hurry up and come already, I still have work to do," I said to him.

"Come on, I still want to kiss every inch of your body-"

"What did we talk about?" I glare at him and I stood up, wiping my saliva all over my mouth.

"Stop those glares, it's making me hard again."

"Once I spit out, you come. If not, we're not doing this again." I say to him.

"Fine, fine. I will come." He says and I bend again and put my mouth to his.

"Oh, geez, this is so good. You are so good."

I remove my mouth and spit some saliva on his, I kept on moving it up and down, up and down.

Fast.

Faster.

"Shit, I'm going to co-"

"ommme." He says.

"I said it before and I'm going to say it again, not my face, okay, Castor?" I stood up and grab my clothes and went to the bathroom.

"But you are so hot!" I heard him saying.

I locked the door just to be sure that he will not bother me again, I turn on the heater and shower myself as I wash my face and every inch of his saliva on me. Castor is my boyfriend for 6 months. We met at a gay bar that my friend recommended that I find someone there, but unfortunately, it was all about sex.

Castor is cute and rich, he is 5 years older than me. We've been together for 6 months not because we stay strong but because he has an addiction... on me. He's not a stalker or anything but, he takes care of me and he made me feel special. He prioritizes me also.

At first, I thought, why not I try a boyfriend? I came out when I realized that I miss someone, that I always think about him, that I like him so much... and that I loved him.

But he left.

"Eros," I whisper.

I closed my eyes and I'm trying to forget that freaking liar and that he just left mom and me.

Whatever.

It's been years already, I already moved on, it's just... there are times that I remember some memories of us, but it's just memories. It's already in the past.

I turn off the shower and I grab a towel, I wipe my body and my hair.

I wear my clothes and I open the door and I found Castor waiting for me at the door.

"You took some time." He says.

"Yeah, you marked salivas all over my body." He smiles.

He's weird but sweet.

"Do you even see something?"

"See what?"

"On your neck." He replied.

I grab a mirror near me and see that he marked me which I hate!

"Shit. You damn-"

"It will last, okay? I just can't get enough off of you, you know." He says softly.

"You never learn, aren't you? Let me borrow some clothes that will cover this up."

"Okay, just wait here."

He went upstairs to his room.

I turn around and see the mess we've made, the living room, and the kitchen.

We got horny.

"Here." He gave me a turtle neck that will cover the mark he gave me.

I remove the shirt in front of him and wear the thing that he gave me.

"Does this match the pants?" I asked him.

"Yeah, I made sure. Let's go."

"Okay."

When we arrived at the bakery shop, he turns to me and said, "I will be away for a week, are you sure you're not going to come?"

"I still need to prepare for the opening of the branch, maybe next time," I say to him.

"Alright, I'm going to miss you."

"Yeah, miss you too." I got off the car and say goodbye to him.

Then I turned around and see the bakery shop that I grew up in and now, the 5th branch is going to open. Also, today is the anniversary of when I first came here.

What a coincidence!
