[EROS' POV]

"I think I'm in love with you, Eros."

"WHAT?" I got surprised as he said those to me which I'm already used to it by now, but hearing that from Griffin, it's different.

"Griffin, stop joking, okay? It's already night and we've enjoyed at the arcade, it's time to go home and get some rest."

"Eros, you're blinded."

"Blinded?"

"Yeah, I've done everything and now, you're denying my feelings for you."

"Griffin, stop making jokes. Also, jokes from you aren't funny." I say and I'm about to wear my T-shirt when he stops it and throws it away.

"Griffin," I said.

He pushes me to my bed.

"W-what are you-"

He jumps at me and chains me using his hands. He looks different and this is not the Griffin I know of.

"Griffin, hey, you're being possessed right?"

He looks at me, "Eros, I'm about to do something to you and you think I'm being possessed? By what? A horny ghost?"

I slightly chuckle, "Come on, what's wrong with you? You're acting weird. Are you still there Griffin? I know you are! Stop horny ghost! Go away!"

He sighs and he lets go of my hands and sits on my bed, "I'm a bad drinker."

"You are," I say to him.

"But really, you've saved my life back then."

"I did?"

"Yeah, when you took me away from the Chairman." He answered.

I chuckle, "Yeah, they said that they're lucky that I became the CEO."

"They are. They didn't expect someone at a young age would be a CEO."

We kept quiet for a moment.

"Griffin, you don't love me," I say to him.

He slightly smiles, "How can you say that?"

"Because... you just think that you're in love with me because I saved you, but not because you really love me."

He looks at me, not believing me.

"I don't get it."

I chuckle, "You'll understand."

He lays on my bed and stretches his hands.

"I'm sorry I did that." He says.

I pat his lap, "It's fineee, but if you want to, I can change my mind."

He laughs, "You idiot."

"You're quite aggressive, that's a point."

I compliment.

"Really? I don't know that I'm aggressive 'til now." He says.

I laugh with him, thinking that earlier, I was scared at him being that aggressive but a funny joke came and this happened.

"... And thank you." He says.

I looked at him and he covers his eyes using one arm, "For changing me."

I see a tear fell from his cheek.

I smile even though he doesn't see me but I got a good friend here with me. Whenever I'm down and wherever I am, he's always there keeping his two roles active.

I pat again his lap, "You can sleep here."

I slowly went out of my room and give him space. I walk by the sofa and I forgot my phone on the table.

I got my phone and lay on the long sofa and I scroll my messages.

I see Ellis's messages.

I'm already counting on how many messages I got from him tonight.

1. Did you get home?

2. Thank you for buying ice cream. I'll pay it next time! No I mean I will treat you!

3. I had fun, thanks.

4. Forgot. Thanks for the peg.

5. *pig* I type typo >:P

I chuckle at every text he sent.

Ting!

Another message came.

It's from Ellis again.

6. Are you asleep? I forgot you're busy. Night! May the vanilla guide you! >:)

I smile at his cute texts.

What should I reply to?

Ah! I know.

"Goodnight, little brother. May the chocolate be your vanilla." I say as I type on my phone and put an emoji.

"A wink should do it," I added and hit send.

I hope he sleeps well tonight because I think I will not sleep tonight thinking about what happened in that office.

[ELLIS' POV]

I feel so weak.

So numb.

"What the hell happened to you?"

"I just need a jog," I said to her.

Night had passed by and the sun rises.

Dione asked me if I'm free to jog which is not always, it's too early for me but since I didn't sleep or I have a lack of sleep, I accepted it.

"You didn't sleep again?"

She asked as we're jogging across my street.

"I slept for 2 hours and I woke up and I can't sleep thinking about what happened in that

office."

"What happened in the office? Wait, is this about Mr. Handsome CEO?"

Shit.

She can't know that!

My mouth is bad. I should not have said anything, whatever it is from that office.

Quick, say something not related in that intimate moment.

"Uhm... I mean, in his office, when I visited him, he and Eryx... his best friend, kind of, I don't know, they're so close."

"Ooooh, I already told you about them. There's something about them, it's my instinct telling me." She says and we turn right to jog.

"You think so?"

She nods, "But whatever it is, it is their private matter. Why don't you ask your brother?"

I should not have said that, it just making my head hurts more. Especially in my heart.

I've said to myself that I already moved on but meeting him again, talking to him, hanging out with him, thinking about him, all of that is telling me that, I will never forget about him.

"It's his business. I have my own."

I just said.

"Sassy." She chuckles.

But last night, I didn't sleep. I easily overthink things, well, it's normal for me to think things especially when it involves what happened in that office.

"Are you ready for next week's party?"

I nodded.

"Wear something nice at that party, maybe you'll meet investors or reporters!"

I chuckle, "Thanks, Dione."

"Of course! But you have to help me with your brother."

"Whatever."

She laughs.

[EROS' POV]

Knock! Knock!

Ring! Ring!

Knock! Knock!

I slowly open my eyes and I heard knocks on my door and my phone is ringing by my side.

What the hell is that noise?

"I'll get it." I see Griffin walking topless and went to the front door.

I yawn.

"I didn't even get a sleep. It was my 20 minutes of my life." I whisper and I sit straight.

"ARE YOU SERIOUS?"

I know that voice.

"Eros!" He called.

As he sees me, he looks at me and Griffin is behind him, eyeing me.

"What happened?" Eryx asked.

"What do you mean?"

"You two... why are you naked?"

"I'm not naked, I'm just topless," I said which is true, I forgot my T-shirt last night and I was lazy to get it again.

"And why are you naked?" He asked Griffin.

"It's hot."

"And why are you even here?"

"Uhmm... I got drunk."

"Eryx, don't make this a big deal," I say to him.

"How can I not? You two are smoking hot in front of me and I don't know what to think, do I like it or not? Do I love it or not? It irritates me."

I chuckle, "Why did you even knock? You lost your key?"

"I forgot the key at my place. I have to borrow the jacket today, Eros." He says, forgetting that he's irritated.

"Why?"

"I have to meet my father today and if he finds out that I'm not wearing his jacket, he'll freak out and make a human sacrifice." He sarcastically said.

His father is a mafia boss. He should be an heir now but Eryx refuses and that results in his father's heart attack condition.

"Why don't you just wear it from your place?"

Griffin asked.

"I left it here, that's why." He said and went to my room to get his jacket.

When he got it, he went back to the living room and he wears it, "Smells so good."

"Why did you say borrow when you just left it?"

"I gave it to Eros because I don't like it and I left it before I gave it to him. And, why are you asking too many questions, Griffin? Are you being possessed?"

I laugh quietly while those two bickers.

Griffin seats beside me and Eryx suddenly looks at us, "Get some dress or else..."

"We should go now. We're late for work." I say to Griffin and we both went to my room.

"Why are you two going to the same room? And Eros, you forgot that today, you don't have any work!" He yelled.

No work.

Oooh.

"Yes, Mr. Beckett, it is your day off."

"I forgot. So, is it okay that I will rest today?"

I smile at him.

"Of course." He answered and he wears his clothes.

"Yes!" I cheered and I lay on my bed.

"It's your day off too, Griffin, so you must enjoy it. Go read a book or sleep all day."

"Don't worry, that is exactly what I'm going to do." He answered.

Not surprised, it's his routine.

"Let me remind you that the party next week has been taking care of, everything's settled now, even your welcoming and closing speech."

"What? I'm going to say something?"

He nods.

"Can it be Eryx? Ares? Or Nerio?"

He shook his head.

"Eryx will perform an intermission number, Ares is assigned to entertain the guests, and Nerio is assigned in the security."

"What? Eryx will perform? He will only perform and there's nothing-"

"I don't just perform, Eros. I will sing and play the piano." He suddenly says when he went

inside the room.

"Oh," I whisper.

"But I can entertain the guests, Griffin. Let Ares speak in front."

"It cannot be."

I imagined Ares speaking in front of many people and it would be a disaster.

"But we have our own Security Management, Nerio should handle something else."

"But you put President Nerio under the security management, Mr. Beckett."

"Oh." If I'm not present, Nerio will be the one who will run the company temporarily. But I'm present, he takes care of other affairs including the security.

"Fine, but not too formal," I say.

"It is formal. The Chairman will be coming."Griffin said.

"Oh, of course, he's always present when it comes to parties," I commented.

I'm not fun of a formal occasion because it's kind of boring and too decent.

"Griffin, are you not leaving?" Eryx asked.

"I will leave now. Thank you for letting me stay, Eros." He says and he went out.

Eros or Mr. Beckett, still doesn't know how to keep up his roles. But at least, he's becoming more lively and into the conversation.

"Now, since you're naked and-"

He's about to lay in bed with me but I didn't let him because I quickly got up.

"Eros." He says.

"I'm sleepy, Eryx."

"You didn't sleep again?"

"Umm... yeah, I can't sleep."

"Should I give you something to take?"

"No, it's fine."

"Are you sure?"

I nodded.

Ring! Ring!

His phone is ringing.

"My father." He says.

"You should go."

"Okay, before I die."

I chuckle and he went out.

"Ros?"

Am I hearing things?

"Are you there?"

My eyes widen as I'm hearing things from afar.

I went outside the room and I see Ellis looking around the place.

Maybe Eryx got him inside.

"El?" I called.

He turns around and smiles.
