Chapter One

Under the beatiful night sky, a quiet village can be seen. Some houses still has their lights on while most are off. However the peace didn't last long when a man covered in blood was seen jumping through every window and coming out with more blood.

His eyes were cold as he slaughtered them, some tried to fight while some tried to scream for help however they didn't get the chance to alert the other civilians when he slit their throat.

As reached a house, he saw three people inside, eating their snacks. One was a short kid while the others were taller than him.

His eyes changed for a second when he took a glance at the kid before going in and killed them. It was a silent process and he left after.

Unknown to him, they were still breathing. The tall males crawled near their youngest brother, and surrounded him. Soon they drew symbols on the ground around them with their blood. Before it glowed and they disappeared.

After the Massacre, there were people who collected the bodies and cleaned the houses, however their bodies disappeared, leaving an enraged man.

In another place...

A group of bloodied males is seen lying on the grasses, they were surrounded by trees and only light is the moon. One twitched before sitting up. He looked around before his eyes darkened and murderous intent swirled in his pupils. His killing intent woke up the other male, who also looked around before his eyes did the same.

"That bastard!! I don't know the reason why he did that but I won't forgive him for what he did to Akemi!! He better be glad we're away somewhere!!" The male who has narrow grey eyes, seethed.

He doesn't care if he and his twin is hurt or killed but what he is angry about is his presious Akemi is also killed.

"Well its a bad luck that we didn't have enough energy to kill him. Also before we go on a rampage.... Kaito...do you have any explanation about why my precious Akemi became a toddler?!" The other male yelled at the angered male, angering him more.

However when he heard the whole part, he looked down to see his precious Akemi, shrunken into his toddler form.

His now huge clothes that is now covered in blood, made him remember how his eyes flashed in fear and worry, as he sensed the incoming attack but couldn't move. How his eyes slowly became lifeless until he they used that jutsu.

Their hearts clenched at the thought, before examining Akemi's body and surely, there wasn't any bruises nor injuries, however their body all shurnk and got younger.

"Quiet down, Kita. He might wake up. Also it might be another side effect of the Jutsu. I haven't studied it much yet so I don't know if we could revert it back, however even if we know how to, we can't. Since the price of that jutsu is losing all of our Chakra manipulation and live as normal citizens" Kaito said solemnly.

"No Chakra? Than what about Akemi!? You know how he values his Chakra, because of those sorry excuse of a parents, what if this breaks him?!" Kita whispered harshly towards Kaito. His eyes gleam with worry and heartbreak.

This made the two quiet down. Kaito doesn't know if the effects also affected Akemi. He would blame himself if it did. He-no...they both know how much Akemi trained his body and chakra just to be accepted by their parents.

If it weren't for both of them, he wouldn't even take a rest. Also because of their parents, he grew up to have a pessimistic view towards himself and he grew to be shy and distant.

They also experienced the same however because they were older now, their parents didn't care that much as before. However this made them worry for Akemi. Their parents were doing this because their father was the younger brother of the Head of The Uchiha Clan.

"...I don't know. We just need to be there if his Chakra is also gone, physically, mentally and emotionally. All we can do now is hope that isn't the case" Kaito said sadly.

Kita sighed before adjusting Akemi in his arms. Akemi stirred, making both males held their breaths, but he just contined sleeping. The two males sighed in relief before they stood up.

"Now wherever we are, we need shelter and water. We can't have Akemi hungry, thirsty nor cold. Kita, give me Akemi and you find any preys to eat" Kaito ordered Kita, who glared at him.

"Why don't you do it, huh? Akemi is comfortable in my arms. What if he wakes up with you, huh!?" Kita exclaimed as he tighten his hold on Akemi, who stirred at the sudden action and noise. What Kita said irked Kaito, who turned to him.

"HUH!? What do you mean comfortable? He's more comfortable in my arms than yours!! Get your facts straight you two-faced idiot!!" Kaito said as leaned towards Kita's face, with a glare.

"Two-faced idiot!? At least I'm not an ice cube!! That's why Akemi is more comfortable in my arms because you're a walking ice cube!! You can literally freeze him!" Kita rebuked, irked by Kaito's insult.

"Ice cube?! How the hell am I an ice cube?! Well it does symbolize what my personality is to you and the others but even the ice can be melted down by a heat source and that is my Akemi!!" Kaito exclaimed as he grew angrier.

"Why are you getting poetic or some sh*t!? Maybe that's why Akemi hangs out with me more than you! You're a boring f*cker—"

"What's sh*t? Also f*cker?"

The sudden voice halted Kita and made Kaito freeze. They both looked down and saw Akemi, awake and looking at them with his doe eyes.

"Hm? Why were both Kai-nii and Kai-nii fighting?" Akemi asked. His small and adorable voice snapped the older males out of their panic.

"Oh Akemi! Did you have a good sleep? Sorry if we wake you up! You can go back to sleep if you're still sleepy" Kaito said as he patted Akemi's black hair, making Akemi lean into his hand.

"Mmhm.... I'm not sleepy anymore Kaito-nii. I'm more curious why are we in a forest? Also why do I feel small? Also why is Kaito-nii and Kita-nii also looks small? And what happened to the bad guy? Where's mama and papa? Where are w-" Akemi babbled questions, making the twins sweatdropped.

"Akemi, our precious. That's too much question. Slow down." Kita said as he patted Akemi's hair with his free hand. Kaito sighed before putting on a comforting smile. He knows that if he is babbling too many questions, that means only one thing.

"Akemi, listen to Kaito-nii okay?....Dont be nervous or scared okay? Your brothers are here, we're gonna protect you from anyone or anything" Even after death.

"Okay!! I'll protect Kaito-nii and Kita-nii too!! No bad guys can hurt you two!!" Akemi declared with a proud grin on his face, making the twin's heart swell with love.

"Okay, Akemi. We know you'll protect us. Now can you stay with Kaito so I can hunt some food for us? Or do you wanna come with me?" Kita said as he slowly put Akemi down so he can stand.

Akemi's tiny feet touched the ground barefoot, the spikes of stray branches and crusty leave poke his feet but he experienced much worse than this. However his sight towards his feet didn't went unnoticed by the twins.

Kaito immediately carried Akemi into his arms which surprised the child. Kaito immediately grabbed his feet and dust it off, Kita immediately went and try to look for prey to eat, to avoid another lecture from his older twin.

Akemi noticed and couldn't help but giggle, which Kaito heard and looked up, only to see his precious Akemi giggling and his younger twin gone. He sighed harshly, already planning how to lecture him.

"Kaito-nii, you can let me down. Those leaves can't hurt me!! I've been through worse!" Akemi said, trying to not his brother worry but it only worsens, since Kaito remembered the 'training' their parents gave to Akemi.

"No. Since mama and papa isn't here, you can rest and let your brothers spoil you. Okay, precious?" Kaito said as he kissed his younger brother's forehead. Akemi blushed from the affection before agreeing, however...

"Wait!! Kita-nii is alone!! How can I protect him if he is alone?!.. Shadow Clone Jutsu!!" Akemi exclaimed, making Kaito panic. However before he even try to talk Akemi out of it, he already finished the last handsign. As expected, nothing happened which made Akemi panic.

" N-nii-san!! Why can't I cast a jutsu? Did something happened?!"Akemi questioned with a panicked expression, this made Kaito's heart clench in pain. So he explained, hoping to ease the feeling his brother is feeling.

After explaining, Kaito just stayed quiet, grabbed the rather large backpack and just began walking aimlessly, trying to find any source of water. After a while, he finally saw a clean river and just as got there, he felt Akemi sobbing and trembling.

"How am I gonna protect my brothers now.... I'm a burden... worthless...waste of space... disposab–" Akemi started mumbling to himself and this was heard by Kaito, who immediately hugged him tighter and began denying everything negative Akemi told himself.

After a while, they both heard a rustle and saw their brother Kita, holding two deers and covered in more blood. Kita also noticed them and saw a swollen eyed Akemi.

He looked at his twin and the look of worry and heartbreak in his is enough to tell him that Akemi found out about his Chakra. He sighed and went closer to them, wanting to hug Akemi but he is currently covered in blood and dirt.

"Kaito, take care of him okay. I'll try to find heat source and make food as fast as I can. Be sure to make him smile" Kita told his older brother with a threat at the end. Kaito's stare at him tells him it's obvious that he'll make Akemi smile.

Kita rolled his eyes before going a bit further than the two to drop the deer corpse before running to another direction to get enough wood and leaves for a fire, leaving the two alone.

"Akemi, listen to me. You aren't worthless. You aren't disposable. You aren't a waste of space and lastly you aren't a burden" Kaito paused as he saw Akemi looking at him and finally listening, making him let out a smile.

"Akemi, you are priceless. You are irreplaceable. You are needed and wanted and lastly you are a blessing. Don't forget that. Don't listen to others who tells you that you are not, especially our parents. Okay, precious?" Kaito said seriously, making Akemi's mood better than before and a small smile appear on his chubby face.

"mhm...but I promised to protect you both...how am I gonna protect you if I don't have any Chakra..." Akemi asked as his mood became low once again. Kaito chuckled and hugged his Akemi tighter.

"You don't need to protect us, Akemi. Kita will protect both of us while I protect both of you and Kita. You can just be beside us and make us happy by being yourself. An emotional support is also a hero most of the times" Kaito said as he cradled Akemi who finally showed a genuine grin and hugged back.

Their moment was destroyed when Kita came back from his search and spoke to them.

"Is my precious fine now? Or did my boring brother made you bored? Your cool nii-san is here to take you awa–" Kita was cut off by Kaito, who was blankly staring at him while Akemi was staring at both or his brothers confused.

"You can't take him away, Idiot. Do you want him to be stained with animal's blood?! Go wash yourself first before hugging him. While I skin that animal and cook it" Kaito ordered his brother and Akemi was just there sitting, confused.

"Well as much as I hate your cooking... I have no choice. Go ahead. Before that, take out those spare clothes so I can also wash Akemi" Kita said as he went to the river and took off his clothes. Kaito took out the clothes from his back pack, that he forgotten, and gave Akemi his clothes along with Kita's, before going back to make a fire and cook their food.

Akemi nodded and ran towards Kita, who was already naked in the river. Kita saw him and helped him as he slightly rose from the river. The cool air hits his body, reminding him that it's night and very cold so he made sure to bathe Akemi quickly so he wouldn't get sick.

1 year later

The brothers were able to make a decent house in the forest slightly near the city they discovered. They all knew that they weren't anywhere familiar, which is a surprise since they knew every nook of their world map so they immediately knew they were sent to another universe or in the future.

Kaito was the first to discover the city and told it to his other brothers who went to look and that's when they saw the difference of how they live, how they wear and how they talk. It was surprising that they were still able to understand them but they can't actually speak their language.

So Kaito went to a public library and borrowed 10 books, ranging from world history, language to food culture. He had taken the responsibility of teaching his brothers how to adapt to their new environment.

Kita on the other hand, after finishing the tree house and being able to understand basic Japanese, he began trying to find any jobs so they can at least be able to be buy any necessities to adapt in this world.

While Akemi who was always left behind in the house, began searching for herbs and other wild vegetables so he can replant them and have a constant food source. Thankfully he has memorized every plants Kaito has taught him.

Kaito also began searching for jobs so they can have an emergency money since he doesn't have any knowledge in the medical aspect like Akemi so he wanted to have enough money to buy medicines and be able to go to the hospital.

March 15 1997

Akemi who is now 6 years old, was just taking care of the small farm he planted when his whole body began throbbing in pain making him drop the watering can and scream. After a while of writhing pain, he passed out.

Meanwhile the twins, who are now 10 years old, are currently dealing with a difficult situation. They encountered a group that they call themselves a 'gang'.

"What's a gang, Kaito? I never heard of it" Kita asked his brother while ignoring the group of men in front of him, who was insulted from being ignored by a kid.

"By the dictionary, it means that it is an organized group of criminals. I never told it to you since I never would have expect a bunch of men to rob a kid" Kaito said as he sighed and run his calloused hands in his hair.

Kita was about to speak when he felt an indescribable pain ran through him, he looked at his brother who was also shock at the pain before nodding at him, a signal that Akemi might be injured.

"Since we're in a rush, let get this done already" Kaito said as he tightened his bagpack before doing a roundhouse kick to the male near him, sending him a couple feet away. Thanks to their harsh training even at a young age, their strength in comparable to a young adult who has experience in fighting, even without any Chakra.

Kita also began punching the males taht is in his way. Surprisingly for the gang, they were taken down by two 9 years old kids. After taking then all down, they ran as fast as they can back home.

As they got home, they immediately searched the house and Kaito soon found Akemi lying on the ground and has a burning fever and labored breating. Without paying attention to the sudden thickness of the atmosphere, he carried him and called Kita so they can go to the hospital.

Thankfully they were near the hospital and they got a large bonus from their employer, so they can cure Akemi if needed to.

As they arrived in the hospital and seemed helped from a nurse. They're now in a ward. Akemi is lying down on the bed, while Kita and Kaito is beside him.

"Kaito, we should switch alternately so one of us get to be with Akemi. I can't handle another situation like that. I was so scared since he never got this worse before" Kita said as he laid his head down on the bed, his left hand clenched Akemi's small right hand.

"Yeah. What the doctor said made me realize our situation again. We don't have Chakra anymore so we can't use medical jutsu to heal any injuries or illness" Kaito said as his forehead is on his right hand, that is holding Akemi's small left hand.

A nurse came near them and saw them and the sad atmosphere. She sighed before writing down what the doctor said and the payment, before looking at them again and coughed to catch their attention, to which the two boys looked at her immediately.

"Your sister is fine. I know the doctor already told you but I'll repeat again, okay? You need to let her rest, let her eat proper nutrition and make sure she drinks 8-10 glasses of water everyday. Here, the doctor also wrote the medicine needed to let the fever subside" The nurse said as she gave the paper she wrote on earlier to one of them, which is Kaito.

"Thank you for the assistance. However for your information, Akemi isn't our little sister, he's our youngest brother. Also why is it written down as paid?" Kaito told the nurse who was surprised by the sudden gender reveal and her assumptions.

"Sorry, your brother is just too cute and pretty that I assumed that he was a girl. As for the payment, a kind old man had paid it for you, he said that he saw how you have no guardians with you and how you care for your brother" The nurse said as she gave them the prescribed medicine before bidding a farewell.

Kaito and Kita looked at each other cautiously, they don't trust that mentioned old man yet since he might have ulterior motives to pay for them, who was a stranger to the old man.

They stayed there for the whole afternoon before going home with Akemi. As they got home and laid Akemi down on his bed, they just now noticed the sudden heavy atmosphere that is surrounding his body and they saw that his forehead has a diamond mark.

"Kaito....is that...what I think it is?" Kita muttered, loud enough for Kaito to hear. Kaito nodded as his heart eased a bit at the revelation that his precious Akemi had his Chakra back.

"At least, we don't have to worry that much when he goes outside. He can have the strength to protect himself if ever needed" Kita said as he lovingly gaze at Akemi, who was finally sleeping peacefully.

"However I also read that they are different kind of ways to hurt someone. I need to tell him how to counter any of that since we both know how shy and kindhearted he is" Kaito said as he gripped Akemi's hand a bit tighter but not enough to hurt.

"You can teach him that later on since we should let him rest and get used to his Chakra again" Kita said as Kaito nodded. They thank whoever powerful being is up there, for this sudden miracle.

Kita smiled and kissed Akemi's forehead lovingly and after him, Kaito did the same. They looked at Akemi one last time, and whispered something before going to bed.

"Have a good rest, Akemi our blessing"
