2 Chapter 1.2 - LET LOOSE

XAVIER'S - FIRST PERSON POINT OF VIEW

"WHERE AM I" I shouted but he doesn't respond, Ever since my birthday I've dreamt of this man with blue eyes and long black hair. In my dreams, he's always wearing white and black Robes. I feel as if I've known him for a very long time now, but when I wake up his face blurs away. "Ahhh" I shouted while I jumped from my sleep crying, tears running down my face. "You had another dream?" I looked at Stephanie, her face looks tired but you can tell she was worried. I told her "It was just another nightmare, but I'm good now, I just need a glass of water". "Oh ok, well I have class in the morning so I'm going to take my beauty sleep," she said while grinning. I smile while wiping the tears from my face and got up to get a glass of water.

Ever since my birthday, I've been feeling different in a way that I couldn't possibly explain. But I had this feeling that something was about to happen, So the next day when Stephanie said we should go clubbing I was worried, but I needed to get my mind off things.

PRESENT:

We just left the dorms and were walking to my car. It was windy outside, so I stopped to take in the scene. Our university was close to the ocean so it was almost always windy, Stephanie and I would always have picnics on the beach and then went to sing karaoke, she would always get emotional with how good I sang, and I would always ask her why she was crying and she would say "cause your voice is angelic". It's been 17 years since I met Stephanie, we met in pre-school and after that we were inseparable. We even both liked the same guy once in middle school, but we were always loyal to each other that no guy ever came between us, so we buried our crush for him. For a second it felt like I was reliving all the moments I had with Stephanie. And then my thoughts come back to the present and I find everyone staring at me. "Are you okay" I answered "yes" and went into the car.

20 MINUTES LATER:

"Stephanie, are you sure this will work? I was nervous, it was my first time going to a club and plus I was underaged, so all my thoughts were about what could go wrong. "Yes I'm sure," she said looking at me with a reassuring face. I felt a little less worried when I looked at her. But you could tell she was spying for escape routes while looking at the building. On the other hand, Jess and Tess didn't look a bit worried they were anxious to get in the line in front of the club.

So without wasting any time we all got in line.

5 MINUTES LATER:

"ID'S??!!!" his voice was rough, it made me feel nervous but I tried my hardest not to show it. He looked at us from top to bottom and said "You may go in" I was relieved but my heart was still racing, we all went into the club and I could not believe what I saw. "UHHHH!!!" I said with my mouth hanging open.....
