It's Nice to Meet You!

"It's been 3 weeks, 2 days, 3 hours, 15 minutes, and 31 seconds and now I'm finally touching you again! I know I've said it in letters and text messages, but I have to say it in person now." Kotone pushed herself against Fanzer after trapping him inside of a classroom.

"I love you! We're destined to be with one another!" She didn't give Fanzer any time to react or say anything in response before mashing her face against his, starting to intensely make out with him.

"Wow... how did I get into a situation like this?" Fanzer thought, his mind drifting back to several weeks ago.

-----

"So, should I ask him out, Fanzer?" Another girl, Emily was her name, asked frantically.

"Uhuh. You should absolutely go ask him," Fanzer replied, sarcasm coating absolutely every single one of his words.

Of course, Emily didn't catch the sarcasm.

"Okay! Thank you so much Fanzer! Oh my god, he's coming over here! I must mentally prepare myself! Fanzer, can you keep him busy?!" Emily gasped, fanning her flushed face as her crush started walking over.

"He is my best friend, so..." Fanzer shrugged, causing Emily to quickly run off.

"Was that—" Jumin was interrupted by Fanzer's nod.

"Yeah. It was another one of your fangirls," Fanzer snarkily told his friend, gaining an apologetic look from him.

"Bro, I'm sorry. Listen, the weekend's tomorrow and we'll hang out, alright? No worrying about girls, no fangirls, just us. Me and you, the two amigos," Jumin held out his fist to his friend, who slowly and reluctantly connected his own fist with it.

"Okay but..." Fanzer lightly gestured to the four fangirls who were gushing over his best friend in the distance.

"We'll... handle that later. For now, let's just be two high school boys chillin," Jumin told Fanzer, gaining a very small nod from him.

The day was over in a flash from there. It was a glorious Saturday; Jumin and Fanzer couldn't wait to get out of school.

"Yo, I'll catch you later. I've got a photo shoot today," Jumin told his best friend, causing him to make a face as if he was disgusted.

"Ew, they want to have photos of you, I can't imagine why they'd want a face like that," Fanzer insulted, but as always, his friend didn't miss a beat.

"Truly you're blessed to be in my presence. Maybe being around my beautiful face will make yours more beautiful," Jumin scoffed, bringing a small smile to Fanzer's face.

"Either way, anyone as beautiful as yours truly has things to be doing. So I'll be going while I still have my dignity," Jumin started walking away, but Fanzer couldn't let him have the last word.

"Watch out for the rain, we don't want your oh so perfect hair getting messed up!" Fanzer yelled, and Jumin had to try his absolute hardest to not give his friend the finger, just because of the various paparazzi that seemed to crop up all over the place.

Fanzer couldn't hold back the smile on his face as he walked through the halls of his school, unfortunately he wasn't paying much attention as he reveled in his victory and bumped directly into someone, causing them to fall backwards.

"Ah, I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention," Fanzer apologized, looking at who he knocked over.

It was certainly a girl, and he'd never seen her around before. Granted, he and Jumin were only second years, but Fanzer met his fair share of third and first-year fangirls.

He held his hand out to the knocked over girl, offering some help to her.

She looked up to him and her black pupils met his brown ones. As soon as she met his gaze her face became red, but Fanzer gave it no attention, assuming it was because of something else.

She grabbed his hand, and he helped her up.

Fanzer wasn't amazingly tall, but he certainly wasn't extremely short either. He was a bit taller than average, which was perfectly fine in his eyes.

He would be lying to say it didn't surprise him when he helped the fallen girl up, and for her to stand six inches, or about 16 centimetres, taller than he was.

"Ah..." He unconsciously let out as he looked up to the tall woman.

"Sorry for knocking you over," Fanzer apologized, a nervous smile on his face as he looked at the black-haired woman.

"Ah... It's... fine," She replied, causing Fanzer to give her a more confident smile.

"Perfect! I've gotta go, but I'll see you around!" Fanzer gave her a small wave before continuing to walk away, unaware of the woman's blushing face.

He had no idea what he just started.

-----

Sunday couldn't come any faster.

Fanzer usually started his day with a bowl of his favorite cereal and some early morning anime watching, but today was a teeny bit different. He had gotten a text message as soon as he woke up.

"I think I'm in love with you," Fanzer read the text message, his heart fluttering due to the words before he quickly realized what happened.

"Ah, they probably got Jumin and my number mixed up. I think it happens far more times than it actually does. Normally I wouldn't but..." Fanzer just texted back Jumin's actual phone number then turned his phone off.

"He can handle it." Fanzer shrugged, taking a mouthful of his cereal as he turned on the most recent show he was watching.

Fanzer didn't even give the message a second thought as he went through his day. It was only when he and Jumin started hanging out it came back into his mind.

"Oh yeah Jumin, how was the conversation with the person who got your phone number?" Fanzer asked as his friend entered his front door.

"Uh, nobody has gotten my number today," Jumin raised his eyebrow, causing his best friend to let out a nigh silent hum.

"I guess they haven't texted you yet. Either way, prepare to get folded! I'm getting revenge for your garbage victory last time!" Fanzer challenged, causing the model to shrug cockily.

"Sure sure, let's see what you've got," Jumin challenged.

The first match was a wash. Fanzer completely washed Jumin.

"Huh, I can't hear you. I'm too busy winning!" Fanzer taunted and his friend fell for it. He went from his relaxed stance into leaning forward, getting serious about the match.

The second match was much closer, with it being Jumin's win in the end.

"Let's make a bet. If I win, we go get something to eat and you pay. If you win, I'll pay," Jumin added some stakes, and Fanzer didn't dare to back down from the invitation.

"Alright. I guess I'm about to have some free food," Fanzer laughed.

"I dunno. You sound awfully confident for the person who's about to pay for dinner," Jumin retorted, and the stakes were set.

This match was ridiculously close. Both parties were down to their last bit of health and their last lives.

The clock was running down and Jumin had a light lead, about 5% more health than Fanzer.

Fanzer charged, his character jumping into the air with a slash of his sword. Jumin responded quickly, using one of his moves to teleport behind Fanzer's character.

"Tch!" Fanzer dashed towards Jumin's character, making sure his attack would hit, but in the last second Jumin activated his super.

"No no no no!" Fanzer quickly tried to input the prompts to his own super but messed it up as he frantically pressed buttons on his controller.

"That's it! It's a wrap!" Jumin sat down his controller as his super came shooting across the screen towards Fanzer's character.

But, both of their faces snapped towards the screen, hearing the ultimate sounds of Fanzer's character, mainly his voice lines.

"I won't let you destroy my world!" The character yelled as he held his sword up high and let out a huge blast of energy from it.

"No no no no no!" Jumin cursed as his super was enveloped by Fanzer's ultimate.

Jumin's character's health was completely destroyed as a cutscene played, signifying that Fanzer did indeed win. If that wasn't enough, a woman's voice came from the television.

"Ultimate Finish!" She cheered, causing Fanzer to let out a large cheer of his own.

"Let's get it! Here I come, free food!" Fanzer cheered as Jumin sat for a moment, the loss slowly becoming more real to him.

"Wow, alright. Well, let's go," Jumin chuckled, shaking his head as he put on his shoes.

Fanzer put on his own shoes and the two left the home. They walked in peaceful silence for a few moments before Jumin had to ask a question on his mind.

"So... did you pull that out on purpose or what? That dub would've been mine if you didn't use that Ult," Jumin noted, and Fanzer nodded in complete agreement.

"I think it accidentally activated when I tried doing my super. Either way, I've got free food!" Fanzer cheered, causing Jumin to role his eyes.

"Yeah yeah. Live it up," Jumin waved his hand towards Fanzer, not noticing someone noticed him.

"Anyways, what are we gonna get?" Jumin asked, but before Fanzer could give him a response there was a squeal behind them both.

"Did you hear anything? Because I didn't hear anything," Fanzer asked, starting to walk just a little bit faster.

"I didn't hear anything. I'm actually deaf, so I can't hear anything," Jumin started walking faster as well, hearing an "oh my god" behind him.

"It's probably nothing. Maybe we can just—" Jumin was interrupted by yet another squeal, this time it brought a lot more attention.

"Oh my god, it's Jumin!"

"I need to get his autograph!"

"Oh my god, I need his babies!"

With no time to spare Fanzer and Jumin looked at one another and sprinted in two different ways. The confusion of the sudden splitting up would cause plenty of the women to go after Fanzer, while others would go after Jumin.

Thus, the chase was on. Fanzer was faster than they thought he'd be, letting him get a good distance ahead of the fangirls.

That didn't mean he was out of the situation though. He needed to make it seem like he disappeared in order for that to happen.

"Uh uh... There!" Fanzer dipped into an arcade, lingering around the back until he could hear the stampede of girls pass the shop.

"Whew, good," Fanzer sighed, stepping out into the street carefully. He looked up to see a familiar looking girl looking at him.

"Weird... Where do I know her from?" Fanzer questioned, whispering underneath his breath.

"Either way I guess I should check if Jumin texted me," Fanzer opened his phone, noticing that he had 75 text messages, something that was completely unheard of for him.

"That's... really weird," Glancing through the messages he saw he did get one from Jumin.

All it said was, "Fml" so Fanzer understood the connotation and decided that heading back home would be the best thing he could do.

A few minutes into the walk he noticed he was being followed.

"Wow, this fangirl must be blind. We only normally do that because of the confusion it causes," Fanzer noted, making sure to get home sooner rather than later.

During the entire walk back the woman who was following him never actually stopped following, but never got close enough to do anything. It was very unsettling to Fanzer.

He looked at another message he got from Jumin.

"I'm already back home, what's taking you so long?"

He quickly responded, "One of your fangirls is kinda creepy. She's been following me for a while. I didn't wanna just head back so I took a detour."

Jumin responded back quickly, "If it's only one I'll just give her an autograph so we can go eat. Start heading back and I'll meet you halfway."

Fanzer tucked his phone in his pocket before noticing that the woman was right behind him before he could notice, breathing down his neck.

His body tensed up and he jumped around, meeting her gaze.

"Wait, you?" Fanzer realized who it was, his eye widening as he looked at her blushing face.

"You're the girl I bumped into at school. You're a Jumin fangirl? I can't say I really expected that," Fanzer let his rapidly beating heart slow down a little bit, letting out a sigh of relief.

"Well, I can't say it's okay to be following people around but it sure is a good thing it was someone I've at least seen before," Fanzer laughed to himself, causing the girl's face to go up in flames.

"Fanzer's glad to see me. Fanzer's glad to see me. Fanzer's glad to see me," She put her hands up to her flushed face as she whispered to herself, just low enough where Fanzer couldn't hear exactly what she was saying.

"How about this, if I give you Jumin's number will you let us be? We're trying to just relax," Fanzer bargained, sticking out his hand to the taller girl.

Now that he actually had a moment to look at her, he realized she had quite the developed figure. He was never particularly good at distinguishing specific sizes, but he could tell she was certainly most men's dreams of a perfect woman.

She whispered something that Fanzer couldn't hear.

"Huh? What was that?" Fanzer asked, and the girl raised her voice a little bit more so he could hear her properly.

"Okay. I'll take it...." She repeated, her tone seeming somewhat unsatisfied.

"Neato. Ah, I just realized, we haven't been properly introduced yet have we?" Fanzer questioned, but the girl made sure he knew they hadn't by frantically shaking her head from side to side.

"Well, I'm Fanzer Yukihira," Fanzer held out his hand a little bit further, which the woman gladly took.

"I'm Kotone... Endou," She muffled an escaping sound as Fanzer lightly shook her hand.

"It's nice to meet you Kotone," Fanzer then gave her Jumin's number, noting her somewhat odd reactions to some of the things he did.

And as soon as he was done she turned and sprinted off, far faster than what he expected of her.

A minute or two later Jumin showed up, confusion on his face.

"She left already. It was actually a girl I already knew. I just gave her your number in the end," Fanzer shrugged, causing Jumin to let out a low groan.

"That's fair, even if I don't want to agree. You have done a ton of things for me," Jumin sighed, but Fanzer changed the topic.

"Yeah yeah, we all know how this story ends. More importantly, let's go eat. I'm hungry after having to deal with your problems since the second I woke up."

"And I just keep getting reminded of my failures!"
