The Smith in question had arrived at the Estate not long after Ben had opened the letter and saw what the message contained.

Ben thought he would have enough time to prepare for the Smiths arrival, which was supposed to happen at Vals workshop, but the eager Rica couldn't wait.

Dragging along his superior that was organised by the Guild, Rica appeared outside the Estate and continually shouted that he wished to see the boy wonder.

However, when he entered the Estate, Rica was instantly drawn to the armour sets of the Withering Rose party group, not leaving them alone until Ben asked them to join him in his meeting with Rica.

Otherwise, Rica wasn't planning to sit down and chat with Ben since his mind was too focused on the Beast Materials that were forged.
